I would like to believe that this phenomena around an anonymous 9 year old are true, but I will reserve judgement until more information is forthcoming. It just seems to have suddenly come out of nowhere, this flurry of information regarding this child. I understand the need for anonymity to protect a child, but I am also wary due to lack of openness, especially since it is a journalist who is conveying the story. Remember Maria Divine Mercy? She was anonymous, and her so called messages resonated with many, yet she was a false prophet. I guess it would be helpful if one were to know the bishop of that place to confirm if the child is known to him and if these phenomena were true, without having to reveal the identity of the said child. We must pray to the Holy Spirit for discernment, just because something tickles our ears or appears to affirm other alleged seers and messages that we like the sound of doesn’t make them necessarily true. I will wait and watch to see how things unfold.
We are surrounded by beneficial plants - would God have done any less for us? But thanks to pharmaceuticals and our "education" system, humanity has forgotten this. A partial list of useful plants: dandelions, nettles, dahlias, marigolds and many other flowers and leaves are edible in the early stages, wheat grass, hawthorns, oak nuts (edible), pine tree tips and pine pollen also edible and full of nutrients. People make baskets and other things from pine needles and I think that Columbus' men were saved of death from scurvy by drinking water that was boiled with pine needles. I recently found out you can make clothing out of nettles! A lot of homesteaders or botanists know about this stuff.

Julia, I often wondered if spiritdaily was Democratic leaning politically…..just by the absence of negative Biden articles….and by authentic catholic standards, they could publish Biden’s anti catholic policies daily. I will view them with a more critical eye because I had begun to suspect the same! And yes, I also agree that they publish some good catholic information as well. I just don’t understand the duel / conflicting ideology…..If the abortion issue alone doesn't separate any catholic from the Democratic Party, then what will….?
I like the way you expressed your views. I especially like your use of the phrase: tickles our ears. We are warned against that in Scripture. It’s always wise to pray for discernment and wait for words from the local Bishop.
Beth, I think Michael Brown of Spirit Daily, is anti-abortion. But I don’t see much coverage there. In fairness....
I agree that they are anti abortion, but there are many Catholics who profess to be anti abortion yet vote for Democrats. I really hope that spiritdaily isn’t among them. During the election period I had hoped to see more vigorous coverage of Biden’s leftist views compared to trump…maybe my memory fails me, but I don’t remember . I certainly could be wrong….and I pray that I am.
