    Mmm

Seems rather strange that he who is a liar will give you even one truth.

Yes, he can quote scripture but only to further his demonic agenda so he is not interested in truth. He can state facts which are true but he cannot tell the truth.

he twists the truth because he is a liar. he is the opposite of truth. so he cannot speak truth because he is deception. he is a twisted theologian.

    John 8v44
He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.

The demonic is only 1 of 2 non-supernatural possibilities. There is also the possibility of an entirely human origin. When something is human in origin, as the Kathryn Clarke locutions obviously are, the human entrepreneur knows how to say things that will resonate with a certain audience. So what would I tell people if I wanted them to think I was a mystic?
    • Our Lady wants you to pray the rosary.
    • Heaven says pray, fast, give alms.
    • Heaven says forgive.
    • Pray for peace.
    • Be attentive to the messages "heaven" is bringing you through me.
    • Tell them that this is hard work and we rely on donations to help spread these messages throughout the world. (See, for example, DFOT's $47,000 annual travel budget, as indicated on their IRS forms.)
And voila. The first four of those bring you life-changing fruits that give the appearance of authenticity. There you have a nice formula for every human-originated "revelation."

Not always. "The devil can quote scripture for his own purpose," wrote Shakespeare. That is what happened in Jesus' encounter with Satan in Matthew 4:1-11 and Luke 4:1-12.

The devil certainly can mix in a little truth to mislead the faithful. There are many instances of false revelations that start out seeming to be holy, only to veer off course.

We had a Mass said in the Chapel of a graveyard near to Medjugorje for the soul of my recently deceased mother. After the Mass, I went into the graveyard to pray for the souls of my deceased family members and for those buried in the graveyard. As I was leaving, I saw the view of the Church of St. James in the distance and took the photograph. I did not see anything at the time and regarded the image as just a blemish (this was in the early 90's when we used conventional cameras). The photo wasn't printed until I returned to the UK and the first person I showed it to was a colleague I was lunching with who was a Northern Irish Presbyterian. I said 'Oh, this one is spoilt' and he said, 'It looks like a crowned woman at prayer above a church to me'.
Someone later told me that Our Lady of the Holy Souls is traditionally pictured in pink garb, though I have never checked that this is so. Anyway, I took it as a beautiful acknowledgment of my short prayer for the Holy Souls.

Absolutely a sign. What a kind and loving thing you did for your Mom and family. Our Lady was letting you know she was very much there.. IMHO.

And that would, of course, further the devil’s agenda.

  8. what liar is that who only tells lies? I never heard of someone like that. such a person would not deceive anyone but a lap child. I never imagined that I would hear a person with minimal schooling make such a comment. it's worse than naivety, and I don't have words in my vocabulary to describe that opinion.

Dig a little deeper, you have used such abusive terms to others that you can surely come up with something 'appropriate' this time.

This is a quote from Anne's Suspended in Mystery:
"If our eternal self is a point of energy, a DNA strand that makes us eternally unique, then that is what comes into us through the Eucharist and that is what we intuitively recognize as pure. The hope of transformation is what simultaneously humbles us and gives us hope. So, let us understand that the frequency or vibration of Christ is unique. Over time, if we receive the Eucharist frequently or at least regularly, the hope is that we come more and more to exist on that same frequency as Christ, or at the very least, come to understand more where we are different from Jesus and thus where we need to change. What is it in us that does not resonate with the perfection of Jesus Christ? He, himself reveals that to us if we receive him regularly."

This is closer to Hinduism than Catholicism. I'm sorry, but you cannot tell me that Anne's bishop is reading this nonsense. And if someone reads that quote and alarm bells do not go off, what can be done? Just to be clear, in no sense is the "self" eternal. There was a time in which we did not exist. God alone is eternal.

satan is not a person. He is a fallen angel.

You have just contradicted Christ who says that satan was a liar from the beginning and the father of lies.

The devil is also the accuser, too, isn't he? Constantly accusing us before the Throne of God, and reminding us of our sins, demanding his form of justice...

True, Scripture describes him as the 'accuser of the brethern'.

he is an arch manipulator - the ultimate propagandist who always twists the truth to the detriment of man. he hates humans.

Dont want to be a pedant but the Angels are persons. Person is the larger category. We have human, angelic and of course the Trinitarian persons. :)

Well.... here we go again, the Queen of Peace media .com (Christina W. & Christine B.) just posted a video regarding Ann, the lay apostle and its volumes of books. They don't know what they're blindly heading themselves into. Just like when I did get myself blindly into it, too and here's my story following...
Back in year 2008-2009 or so, when I had heard about this Directions for our Times... I had went to Illinois to a conference held by them. I had bought some volumes of their books while there. But when I saw Ann in person and heard Ann spoke; I did not have a good feeling about her. I disliked it when she said this sentence, "Do you understand?" so many, many times at end of her short segments throughout of her long speech. Sorry, but it just turned me off right then and there. Lol
Meanwhile, there at conference, I went to confession, participated in Mass, priest walked around the perimeter with the monstrance of the Host (I did felt a tremendous supernatural electrifying-like healing right at the moment when priest did the sign of cross with monstrance within a mere several feet away in distance), and I also did smelled beautiful strong scent of roses during intermission in the lobby area and asked one person nearby if smelled it, too and person said, no and gave me a strange look. Well...All in all, I didn't waste my trip entirely to going to this conference. I had received graces from just doing fasting, prayers, confession, Mass, and monstrance of the Host blessing/healing! When I got home from this trip; I read the DFOT's books. I read them all within 2 wks...at first, it was good and then some pages jumped out at me that just didn't feel right with me. Hence the words: "Use careful discernment and prayers!" Then, of course, later on...year 2011 (?) or so... I heard about Sr. Briege and Fr. Scanlon withdrew from DFOT. That's when I made my decision to throw out all those books and no longer follow them. Their organization and these messages seemed to be a fraud to me. It's almost like a 99.9% truth but 1% lie. The devil is a total deceiver and master of lies! You're free to choose what you want to believe but that's my honest, humble own experience of what I had went through.

There is an old saying; Every man to his fancy and Willy to his Nancy.

This woman's Bishop has not condemned her, he has appointed her a Spiritual Director, and I am led to believe her Bishop has given her permission to publish her alleged messages, hold conferences and other events in a Catholic environment.

With that in mind, I was somewhat shocked that someone like Sr. Bridge McKenna and her Priest Friend (now deceased I believe) should disregard the decision of Anne's Bishop and publish her own personal disapproval of DFOT from a well respected platform.

Hearing you received such beautiful graces and blessings from attending a DFOT conference and now look for reasons to doubt and spread doubt is sad. And it would have been so nice to hear your testimony without the spanner in the works, (Sr. Bridge McKenna).

I don't know if Anne is genuine or not. That would need to come from a more solid place than a possible spat between two supposed saints, ie Anne and Sr. Bridge. IMHO

    In God we trust.

Thanks for posting this. I watched it and loved it, it's food for the soul. I don't have a clue about Ann, but I just take what is good and leave the rest. The video doesn't get into messages through Ann too much, but the discussion between the two Christines is good.

About seers, I have read in messages of mystics that as much as hearing voices of heaven is a huge Grace, seers are at higher risk of falling through sins of pride among others. I'm not making any judgment on Ann or any other seer, but more thinking that we should not forget to pray for God's prophets too along with the clergy.
