Why Gisella Carda?

I have heard many of these points addressed on my local public radio and catholic radio. That includes guerilla war becoming war. I have heard talk of civil war as well as other war.

 

Gisella Cardia is not approved by her bishop. According to an article by Catholic News Service,

"...Since Trevignano Romano is located within the Diocese of Civita Castellana, the job of determining the credibility of the apparitions to Cardia falls to Bishop Romano Rossi.

“The Holy Roman Inquisition hasn’t been set in motion yet,” Rossi, laughing, told CNS July 31.

“I’m not going to make myself the Torquemada of the situation,” he said, referring to Tomas de Torquemada, the Spanish Inquisition’s first chief inquisitor. “We need time. If it comes from men, it will end; if it comes from God, it will grow. We’ll see.”

“Obviously, I’m in touch with my superiors in Rome about these things,” he added.

Gaining the church’s approval can take a long time; visionaries and witnesses must be questioned, and the fruits of the apparitions — such as conversions, miracles and healings — must be examined. The church may even wait more than 100 years before judging an apparition as being “worthy of belief.”

According to the norms, the local bishop should set up a commission of experts, including theologians, canonists, psychologists and doctors, to help him determine the facts, the mental, moral and spiritual wholesomeness and seriousness of the visionary, and whether the message and testimony are free from theological and doctrinal error.

“Conformity to dogma is not simply about not saying heresy,” Rossi said. “The heart of doctrinal conformity is the proclamation of grace, the proclamation of mercy, the new creation.”

“I am studying the spirit of the messages,” Rossi said, adding that he is looking for “the proclamation of grace and not of judgment.”

The bishop also said that while he was pleased to let the pilgrims use a church for their recitation of the rosary, he would be happier if more of the pilgrims came to Sunday Mass. “It would be a completion — not just saying, ‘We are a group that requests a meeting place,’ but ‘We are children of God who want to sit at the table with our other brothers and sisters.'”

Cardia says her life has been transformed since the apparitions began in 2016. She no longer works but stays at home 24 hours a day, in part because her claims have been rejected by the local townspeople.

“The locals are against me,” Cardia told CNS. “I feel sorry for them.”

Mornings are for housework, but in the afternoon, Cardia receives guests who come for spiritual guidance and hope for a personal message from Mary..."

The giving of personal messages to visitors is not the norm of Marian apparitions. Also, I wonder that the reporter did not explain why the locals are against Gisella Cardia?

My dear children, remember that from today onwards the demonic spirit will be stronger, it will take hold of many minds; please believe my words, prepare yourselves for the renunciations that they will require of you – follow my words. Be like Noah when he prepared the Ark and everyone considered him mad, yet he had Faith and saved his family and animal species. This is the worst time that humanity has ever experienced, therefore I ask you my children to have faith, and you will be saved. Be little – only thus can you enter the Kingdom of God. No matter how many people will despise, judge and persecute you, you will have my Angels beside you, who will make you invisible for evil, especially when you are in your refuges. I ask for an altar and blessed candles to be set up in every home; my Son and I will be there with you always; do not fear: my Lord has conquered death and He loves you. Now I bless you with all the fire of a Mother’s love, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

how do people get so fooled? this woman has proven to be wrong in thousands of prophecies, contradicts herself and looks nothing like the mother of God.

At least at the present moment, it's not obvious this is "the worse time humanity has ever experienced." It's important to put things in context, I think, to "discern" these messages.

For example, the 14th century was pretty bad. The Black Death was the worst pandemic humanity has experienced, with an estimated 75 million to 200 million deaths at a time when the world population was so much smaller (it dropped from an estimated 450 million). The Papal Schism saw three contenders claiming to be the rightful Pope, each excommunicating the others, ravaging Christianity and ending the Church's hold on the remains of the Roman Empire.

The Ottoman Empire advanced into Europe, conquering the Balkans, and then taking over the Byzantine Empire. There was widespread anti-Semitism among Christians and Muslims, leading to mass murder through pograms. The Little Ice Age changed the climate and caused repeated famines. Slavery was widespread throughout the world. Human sacrifice and infanticide was common in Africa, as well as Central and South America. Europe saw The Hundred Years War, popular revolts and peasant uprisings. China saw civil war between Mogul princes; Monguls conquered much of the land mass of Asia. The death penalty was imposed frequently, even for minor offenses. Add to that, the normal (for its time) high infant mortality, short lifespans, no education, bad crops, disease,raids and wars... Hard to say the 21st century is worse at present.

 

This is the last month I’ll pay any heed.

But just look at this logic for a second. If she is a false prophet, her ruse is up by January. But if she’s not a false prophet, we’ll also know by January.

I really don’t understand what the end goal is to judge her a false prophet right when she paints herself into a corner. Is it so we can admire your discernment because you knew it before all of us? Do you see any consequences for being wrong? Or are you so sure she’s false that you can’t imagine facing God for rejecting His warnings?

 

Why Gisella Cardia?
Apparitions in Trevignano Romano, Italy

The alleged Marian apparitions in Trevignano Romano in Italy to Gisella Cardia are relatively new. They began in 2016 following her visit to Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and purchase of a statuette of Our Lady, which subsequently began to weep blood. The apparitions have already been the subject of an Italian national TV broadcast during which the seer behaved with remarkable calm in the face of some heated criticism from panelists in the studio toward her and two books. A Nihil obstat was recently granted by an Archbishop for the Polish translation of the second of these, In Cammino con Maria ("On the way with Mary") published by Edizioni Segno, containing the story of the apparitions and the associated messages up until 2018. While such a foreign Nihil obstat does not, on its own, constitute in situ diocesan approval of the apparitions, it is certainly not insignificant. And the local Bishop of Civita Castellana appears to have been quietly supportive of Gisella Carda, having given access early on to a chapel for the overwhelming influx visitors who began to gather in the Cardia's house to pray, once news of the apparitions began to spread.

There are several major reasons for focusing on Trevignano Romano as a potentially important and solid prophetic source. Firstly, the content of Gisella's messages converges very closely with the "prophetic consensus" represented by other contemporary sources, without any indication of her awareness of their existence (Luz de Maria de Bonilla, Pedro Regis, Fr. Michel Rodrigue, Fr. Adam Skwarczynski, the diaries of Bruno Cornacchiola. . .).

Secondly, several of the overtly prophetic messages would appear to have been fulfilled: we notably find a request in September 2019 to pray for China as the source of new airborne diseases. . .

Thirdly, the messages have frequently been accompanied by visible phenomena, photographic evidence found in In Cammino con Maria, which cannot be the fruit of subjective imagination, notably the presence of the stigmata on Giselle’s body and and the appearance of crosses or religious texts in blood on Gisella's arms. See the pictures taken from her apparition website https://www.lareginadelrosario.com/, which say Siate testimoni ("be witnesses"), Abbiate fede ("have faith"), Maria santissima ("Mary most holy"), Popolo mio ("My people), and Amore ("Love").

Of course, these could conceivably be fraud or even demonic interference, as could the weeping of the statue of the Virgin and images of Jesus in Gisella's and her husband, Gianni's, home. The idea that fallen angels could be at the origin of the messages nonetheless seems extremely unlikely, given their theological content and exhortations to holiness. Give our knowledge through the testimony of exorcists as to how the fallen angels detest and fear Mary to the point of refusing to name her, the chances that one would spontaneously induce the production of the words "Mary most holy" ("Maria santissima") in blood on the seer's body would appear to be next to nil.

Even still, Gisella’s stigmata, her "hemographic" blood images, or bleeding statues should not, on their own, be taken as indicative of the visionary's sanctity such as to give her carte blanche with regard to all future activity.

Yet there is additional video evidence of solar phenomena in the presence of multiple witnesses during prayer at the apparition site, similar to the phenomena of the “Dancing Sun” in Fatima in 1917 or attested by Pope Pius XII in the Vatican Gardens immediately preceding the proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption in 1950. These phenomena, when the sun appears to rotate, flash or be transformed into a Eucharistic Host, clearly cannot be faked by human means, and being recorded (albeit imperfectly) on camera, are also evidently not merely the fruit of collective hallucination. Familiarity with the history of Marian apparitions suggests that these miracles should be regarded as confirmations of the authenticity of heavenly communications.

 

It is an overstatement to say the bishop is quietly supportive of her. Cardia's bishop is quoted on this page, above, in a story by the Catholic News Service. Nor is it surprising Italian television panelists were skeptical of Cardia, since her fellow townspeople are also disapproving (again, Catholic News Service).

As even CTTK notes, a foreign imprimatur does not carry the weight of a diocesan bishop's. A Polish translation of her work may not qualify at all as the "place of publication," which is the only other way in she could receive a licit imprimatur. (This is also a question raised about Luz de Maria.) So this doesn't mean much, if anything.

What's more, the alleged writing on her arms has been criticized as looking as if it were self-inflicted--no less than Michael Brown of Spirit Daily said that, in one of his special reports. And Brown noted the blood on Cardia's bleeding statue looks unsightly and clotted.

CTTK notes that Cardia's messages fit the "prophetic consensus" of other alleged messengers they tout, including two whose bishops have issued negative judgments against them, Fr. Rodrigue and Fr. Adam Skwarczynski. Well, if her messages support those of clearly rejected 'prophets,' that is a Red Flag.

The WORST part of the article is the claim: "Familiarity with the history of Marian apparitions suggests that these miracles should be regarded as confirmations of the authenticity of heavenly communications."

THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. Flashes of light and other "miraculous" events occurred in the condemned apparitions in Bayside, and spinning suns were allegedly seen in Conyers, Georgia, among other sites not accepted by the Church. The CTTK people NEVER go back and cite the Vatican guidelines relating to judgment of private revelation, which does not suggest anything of the kind regarding "confirmations."

Gisela Cardia is so false that i wonder if the people who follow her are in any way possessed by the devil, since it is very easy to see that it is false.

 

I find this to be uncharitable!! First of all, Peter Bannister (former MOG forum member) may have characteristics that strike you as odd but that doesn't mean he is gay! Second of all, just because someone is following a seer that you deem as false doesn't mean the person is possessed. If in fact this seer is false, the person following may be misguided but certainly not possessed! That is a bit extreme. Some people may have difficulty with discerning prophecy. I think many of us have at one point or another.

 

When people speak like Victor, they bring no credibility to themselves. Anyone can spew slander/hatred, but its easy to see they lack any credibility when they cannot reason through their thinking. I agree with you, another one who lacks and discernment.

I think you did a good job of criticizing a message, while not attacking the messenger. And yes, it can be a struggle to discern prophecy! Just think of the people who still try to discern the meaning of Sister Lucia's Fatima visions.

Gisella – Diseases Will be Worse

Dear children, I am the Immaculate Conception; I am coming to instruct you once again for the times to come. My beloved children, since you are still talking about the things of the world, planning your future and counting on earthly things, I advise you to think more about spiritual things. Do not be angry at what is happening around you: unfortunately man’s worst enemy is his Ego, which this humanity does not have the strength to eliminate totally from its life. Be assured, children, that each of you will be held responsible for your actions before God and towards your neighbor; forgive, because what will come will be much worse than what you are experiencing. Diseases and viruses will be worse, but you have only one cure: prayer and constantly entrusting yourselves to God. My children, you are not alone, and do not be afraid: the only important thing is to choose which side to stand on, because this will be the final reckoning for eternal life. Now I leave you with my Maternal blessing together with that of my Father, who loves you without measure.

 

Our Lady to Gisella Cardia on December 29th, 2020:
Dear children, thank you for being here in prayer and for having responded to my call in your hearts. Children, look at the world: it has reached [the point of] destruction. I have asked and continue to ask you to pray the Holy Rosary and to entrust yourselves to God, your only salvation. You are traveling along a road full of dangers and yet you do not believe; open your hearts, be united and be one sole family so that you can help one another. Soon you will see so many things; you will also be witnesses of the end of this battle and victors together with Jesus. Do not fear. How many believe that all this will pass quickly: you have let yourselves be shaped by what the powerful, the world elite are saying, without understanding what has been happening. Be careful: what they tell you will not always be for your good. Pray for Italy and for the world, which is in great danger. The Vatican will be greatly shaken; many prelates will feel the darkness in their hearts. I am relying on your prayers, [my] favored sons*, so that what will come might be mitigated. Now I leave you with my motherly blessing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

 

Example of "heavenly writing" on Gisella's arm (above) looks much more like it is self-inflicted than miraculous. The clotted blood on this statue (below) is quite unslightly (edited).

All these messages should include a disclaimer that they are not approved by the Church. It is misleading to just label them as "Our Lady to Gisella Cardia," when this is not at all a matter of fact.

 

Gisella now has a wide following around the world but her messages are getting increasingly ominous tone. IS it time for the local Bishop to speak out?

My children, thank you for having responded to my call in your hearts. I am comforted to see you kneeling in prayer. My children, God has allowed Me to come to you to take you by the hand, drawing you closer to prayer. Oh! My wandering children who do not find the light – many of them still do not listen to my word, they do not appreciate my help, going as far as to mock these messages for the salvation of humanity. Children, you have had time for your choice, and if I look at the hearts of many of my children, I cry with pain and my Son’s heart bleeds. Children, now you will see what I never wanted your eyes to see: very strong earthquakes and all sorts of calamities such as tempests, storms, tidal waves and wars, because you did not listen to my words! You are being reduced to slavery, you are persecuted for your faith, yet everything goes on as if it were normal. My children, the war that you are witnessing is not one with bombs, but it is rather a fierce inner war. Pray for the Church, which will suffer its destruction before its Rebirth. My children, abandon yourselves to my Jesus and we will always be close to you. Now I leave you with My Maternal blessing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

 

I don't know if these messages are real but it looks like something is about to happen.

The Times Predicted from Fatima Onwards have Arrived

My daughter, tell the world that faith is the only hope that humanity has: only prayer, charity and love will be its salvation. The times predicted from Fatima onwards have arrived — no one will be able to say that I had not given warnings. Many have been the prophets and seers chosen to announce the truth and the dangers of this world, yet many have not listened and still do not listen. I weep over these children who are being lost; the apostasy of the Church is increasingly clear — my favored sons (priests) have refused my protection. My daughter, tell the world to pray for the powerful, because they will unleash a great war. Pray for the Church, because she is being destroyed; [1] pray for Italy because she will weep for her dead – famine is near and you are not prepared. Another virus is at the gates and it will be worse than the previous one. Children, why do you still not understand? Protect yourselves: pray, pray much. Baptize children and pray for them, because evil wants to take their innocence. Now I leave you with the blessing of the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
