If the Fear of the Lord is start of all Wisdom, the loss of that Fear must be the Loss of All Wisdom. Another part of Scripture comes to mind regarding the Mass. The Lord warned the people that He would strike down anyone who placed their hands on the Tabernacle, the Holy of Holies; despite this someone touched it and was struck dead on the spot. A notice that even God has his bottom line on Patience. Bishop Strickland says the passage in question, Galatians 1:6-9, brings us the good news, the gospel, of Jesus Christ but also “a caution and an awareness of what we have in the deposit of faith, what we have in Sacred Scripture, that this is not something that we can ever let be diminished or let go if in any way.” His Excellency notes that St. Paul’s words are relevant because in this day and age we hear the preaching of too many false gospels. He urges the Catholic faithful to reject any gospel other than the gospel of Jesus Christ, who “models for us” what it means to believe in the gospel in His parable of the Good Samaritan. “It’s not so clear for too many in leadership today in the Church in various places and too many people in the pews that are saying, ‘Oh, well, you know, we want to go this way. ..and we have to choose sides, God or the Devil. Sadly it seems very evident that many in the Church even at it's Highest levels have Chosen are Choosing, Satan. In Modern Times Our Lady pretty well always comes with Rosary beads in hand and encourages the seerers and the rest of us to pray the Rosary. I suspect that one way or the other the Churches will once again be closed to us. This is very strange. Maybe Pope Francis may be trying to prolong the synod in order to avoid the divide. Who said Francis was going to try to make things right, but would be too late? Oh, I remember, it was Fr Michel Rodrigue.
I was thinking the other day, imagine if Pope Francis pulls a Pope St. Paul VI, a la Humanae Vitae, on them all. It cheered me up immensely to think of the looks on all their faces Is it possible? God only knows, but maybe Pope Paul would be a good intercessor for his brother Pope....
Well, Padraig is right. Praying the Rosary is the cure. It’s worked all through history. Maybe we will be spared after the Warning. If most pray the Rosary, Our Lady will triumph again.
