Good points. We all have little beliefs that are unique to each of us, because we are all different. Just like St.Therese said God made the flowers, each are different and beautiful. But we have truths that are all the same. Our God is mighty and creative. I liked reading your story, we all have a story!
God - "I was trying to replace the fallen angels with righteous human souls but that's not working so I'll start again with only cats"
I have a theory that God created an infinite number of planets and galaxies as a physical representation of His infiniteness and as a "playground" of sorts, or an infinite field trip, for us to explore and learn about God forever. We will visit one planet after another in our glorified bodies and never run out of new sights and experiences showing the glory of God. So a planet of cats? Why not? I'd probably visit that one daily. ETA: What a witness the universe is, also, to how short this physical life is in comparison to the eternity of the next. One planet to host physical life; an infinite number of planets that can only host spiritual/glorified life.
There are some scientists who will admit that if you look at the science it does seem that the universe is merely a 'cradle for the earth', it is called the theory of the 'Fine Tuned Universe' and, as more scientific facts emerge, the proof for it is growing stronger and stronger. Even the renowned atheist Richard Dawkins admitted that the 'coincidences' regarding the earth's unique fitness to support life and the related theory of the 'Fine Tuned Universe' was the most troubling argument for an atheist to face. The video below is very long but, if you start watching at about 13:00, you will get a taste of what the theory is about and how it is so compelling. If true, there it appears that the chances of life elsewhere in the universe is infinitesimal. Eric Metaxas | Is Atheism Dead? - YouTube
My Dad and his mother and sister also saw crafts and were/are very good honest Catholics. I have been praying for a long time for clarity on this issue, especially with all of the manifestations of them on camera lately. I heard that Mary said in an apparition that they are demons trying to deceive us and I believe that. You really DID probably see them and you may have had a nocturnal experience with them, it's just that they were fooling you about their identity. I truly believe that the Antichrist is preparing us to accept the concept of Aliens, and will himself appear as an Alien to "finally tell mankind the supposed "truth" and help mankind to overcome all of it's problems. He will be beautiful and very alluring to all except that he will have a whole new "truth" contrary to what our Lord proclaimed. That is why the gospel says that "even the faithful will be deceived by him" Personally, I believe that anyone who does not take the time in their lives to get to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him, with all the sacraments and especially Confession and the Eucharist, probably will be deceived when this horror dressed in light appears....
I suspect that part of the end-time UFO deception will involve a heresy about the creation of mankind thereby denying the attribute of God the Father which is in" the first line of the Apostles' Creed".

I realize that among some defenders of the existence of alien life there are some people who dare to say that God would be limited if in the immensity of the universe he created life only on our planet; I think that a certain arrogance can make souls susceptible to the operation of error at the end of time. Whether or not there is life on other planets does not alter the majestic grandeur of God at all.
