They say Wilhelmina saw Our Blessed Lady three times , the first when she was only two years old.

I strongly suspect she may have had Prophetic words regarding the Church. I hope they are uncovered.

Wonderful. She suffered a lot. May she be very quickly raised to the altars, such a lovely woman

Look at the age of those nuns! They all look like children!

    Happy children.

Hearing Sister's voice brought tears to my eyes. A humble, and blessed soul. Thank you Dave.

This video from Sensus Fidelium is made by a priest who was chaplain to the Benedictines of Mary Queen of the Apostles for some time. So he knew Sr Wihelmina and the community first hand.

Michael Voris, 'The Church Miltant', has also just put out a video lasting 54 minutes on this.

It's very pleasing this is getting so much attention as it will make it so much more difficult for the Vatican to bury it.

This story is so beautiful and the more I pray to her and read, the more I see this as a great sign of hope for the Church and the USA, two institutions that many would say do not deserve the gift! Praise and thanks to the Lord for giving us this gift right now, when we sorely need it.

Does anyone know about the origins of Sr Wilhomena? What nation did her family come from? It would not surprise me at all if her roots are in a nation today that is at the heart of terrible conflicts. It would be another gift from God.

I was wondering about her life and suffering through segregation and found this article: "Growing up under segregation, Mary Elizabeth was once taunted with the nickname “chocolate drops” as she ran through a white neighborhood on her way home from school, and although she also was ridiculed as the lone Catholic among Baptist and Methodist peers, she refused to harbor resentment for her treatment. When the local Catholic high school became segregated under the Christian Brothers and public school seemed like her only option, her parents went to great efforts to ensure that their daughter and her schoolmates could continue their Catholic education. According to Sister Wilhelmina, as recounted in her biography, her “parents, who did not want me to go to the public high school, got to work and founded St. Joseph’s Catholic High School for Negroes, which lasted until Archbishop Ritter put an end to segregation in the diocese.

Wow, in a time of hatred and racism, look at what her parents accomplished with faith. Doesn't it strike everyone that this is a also sign of healing for the US in response to all of those stupid messages about racism and hatred spreading everywhere? Thousands of white folks coming to kneel and revere the body of a poor black woman - now that is a sight to publish and put on a billboard across the nation.

Also, I wanted to share another thing that came to me in prayer recently - it is kind of strange, but I had finished praying to her and was thinking about her life and got this bizarre thought, "x marks the spot". What on earth? Then it came to me, I think it's related to this coming event: "An area spanning parts of Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky will be the nexus of the next two total solar eclipses to occur in the U.S., on August 21, 2017, and April 8, 2024."

I can't find a map that shows where Gower is in Missouri but is it near the X on the path of the eclipses? I wonder if this miracle isn't also a sign of hope for Americans in particular for the upcoming trials?

Maybe the thought was not from heaven and has no relation to the eclipse. But either way, praise be to God for His goodness!

p.s. i haven't read all the other posts yet, so maybe others have raised this already?

Here is a wonderful online biography of Sr Wilhomena
    https://benedictinesofmary.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/SW2019.pdf

I'm happy that you found it interesting, I starting wondering after posting if it wasn't silly stuff about the eclipse:rolleyes:. But I looked it up and Gower is in the Kansas area and a 6 hr drive from the point of intersection of two great eclipses. But I suggest discussing this over on this thread and not here.

Just found the time to look at this lovely biography.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Sister was born on April 13. I am honored to share this birthday with her, if only I could share in even a tiny, tiny bit of her holiness. I must continue to pray to Sr. Whilhelmena. :)

There are so many signs and lessons that I believe God is showering through the life of Sr. Wilhelmina. One that resonates with me is her parents refusal to give in when her Catholic high school segregated and she had only the option of public school. They did not protest or cry unfairness…instead they acted courageously and started their own Catholic school. I would love to learn more about that. To me, it’s the same path forward for Catholic parents today….you simply can’t have your children go to public schools where they are being poisoned. Sr. Wilhelmina’s parents have shown us all what to do. Remarkable people!

My daughter Sophie (4) has been different since going to see Sr. Wilhelmina. She's spending a lot of time reading her rosary prayer book, meditating on the mysteries with the pictures, and memorizing the prayers. A couple days ago she was talking about saints and had me explain to her what a saint is, and then she exclaimed, "Oh, I want to be a saint!" Today when my husband was worried because the engine light came on in the van, she offered from the back seat, "Daddy, if you want to pray, you could pray a Hail Mary."
