Absolutely love your image of being on the battlefield with sword drawn going tap tap tap with your shield. Perfect. That is what it is like. Waiting on the Holy Spirit is the only strategy but it gets hard. On so many levels. When to speak. When to stay silent. In the past when I would just rush in I was always sorry. Now I wait. And pray.

 

That said, Sr. Agnes Sasagawa is hidden, nowhere to be found. I tried hard to find her in Japan two years ago but was unable. I also feel that Christ has to some degree removed his graces as a result of what goes on in the world. We have no true and well-known mystics to run to nowadays, it is the time of the afterchurch as Anna Katharina Emmerich called it.

 

I am afraid with many Marian vissionaries it reminds me of some statues of Our Lady where she stands crushing the Head of the Serpent with her foot. With the Visionaries the devil who always scurries after Our Lady rushes forward to crush the head of the visionary and so shut down the apparitions right away. He also attacks and tests the local Bishop and Clergy for the very same reason.

Which is why I suspect Mary often appears to groups of visionaries rather than simply one, so that they can give mutual support.

As Fr Rene Laurentin said ; if Our Lady were to appear in Lourdes today it would never, ever get approval.

No matter where Our Lady appeared in the world today it would be very,very difficult indeed to get consent. The worst opponents would be in the Vatican itself.

I have to agree with you. Some of what passes as Catholic seems a sham. I am talking about the unholy clergy welcoming unholy parishioners. You get the picture.

 

Got here late! Didn’t like title so overlooked thread. So many interesting thoughts in this thread.

The world is turning darker day by day. I won’t say this to scare or depress people. Not sure we can hold back what’s coming. I don’t like saying these things because some people might start getting scared and stop enjoying the beauty of life. It’s time to smile more, be more patient, enjoy the little things God offers every day. But in all of that...we must pray and give thanks.

Every age has had its evil. Modern evil is worse because it can be transmitted around the world in seconds. Everything is in the open. The curtain has been drawn. The internet has been a way to speed the process of information throughout the world. For all the good it could be used for...it’s most likely causing more evil then good.

There are rock star saints with us. But they are not showing the external signs. It’s much more internal. The reason is...one sign or wonder could go viral and cause all sorts of drama. Not how God works.

Bi-location we can do with our phones. Instant knowledge phones. Phones even know what we like and don’t like. So those miracles of the past have changed in this modern time. (And yes our mass is still valid. A lot of the spirituality of the mass is our heart and faith.).

We won’t see those external signs again. Those final signs will come as a final gift from God. When it will be Gods final warning. Not to say a few won’t happen before. But those final saints will be flowing with the Holy Spirit. And most will still not believe.

God is currently doing personal miracles. Smell of flowers, smell of smoke...answering very specific prayers. Gift of tears, gift of dreams. All of us (Gods Grace) will start having some of these. You can’t want them...it will just happen. People will be attracted to us because the Holy Spirit will start flowing through us. People will also avoid us because their souls are darkened.

It is a interesting time to live in. Padre Pio’s age was a million times different. We can’t expect the same type of saint for the modern age. Even though in the end of times...there will be saints that show signs greater then Padre Pio.

Thank you all for this thread. It helps me to meditate on saints and there participation in the modern world. By the way we are all saints...if you are not, you joined the other team.

At Locutions to the world, Our Lady revealed a call to more urgent spiritual warfare, saying the need of the hour is most grave and the pressing problems very urgent.

"The options narrow. What could have been accomplished, even a decade ago, is not longer available. The longer the wait, the more Satan has the field to himself. The more he can claim and the more he controls. Less and less is left to be rescued. Cities are burned and people go into captivity. Hope is lost for the people who would have responded. A Dedicated Army

I am ready to take extraordinary steps and pour out unheard of graces. I will raise up my children to prophesy in my name. This is what I am trying to reveal. The world and the Church need extraordinary help, however, I am ready to pour this out. But the people must be told that I am the Woman whom the Father has clothed with cosmic powers. I demand an army, not people who come and go. I demand total dedication and complete sacrifice of self.

This is not the time for part-time disciples, or for timid believers. I will be with them totally but they must be with me totally. There are no vacations. This is an all out war and it has already begun but my Church has not sounded the trumpet or called to arms.

I am ready to lead. When is the Church ready to follow? I will set out shortly even if my army is small. If my Pope does not blow the trumpet, I will blow it for him."

It seems that many have wondered the same thing. I really dont think we will find that answer for certain here on earth. But if you stop and think for moment He still does give signs, just different. He gave us Jesus, that was and is the greatest sign. Then He gave us our blessed mother, another living sign for today and days to come and i am certain that more signs will also.be given. Our Father has never left us.alone if we look close enough, right down to this very day. Well thats what I think anyway. God bless...gary

Thanks Fallen Saint, that was lovely to read. I found myself once I committed to the true faith a number of years ago now and was completely tuned into Our Lady, sin, and I guess truth in general I have felt greater attacks than ever before and greater negativity at times. When I was a pseudo-Christian and really more of a yes man, most people liked me or it seemed that way, but there was something big missing. But these days its very clear to me those who are warm towards me and those who I feel hatred from. On a good note I am also much better equipped to deal with these attacks. Just tuning into what you say about the Holy Spirit flowing through us, I believe its very obvious at times eventhough we may not feel it.

I think it's because before the formation of the biblical canon, it was necessary to use miracles and wonders to differentiate the apostolic church from the various Gnostic groups that also had their gospels ( falses ). However, at the end of time, God will restore these wonders with the resurrection of the two martyred witnesses, thus unmasking the antichrist, who will deny the resurrection of Christ.

 

Let us not overlook the many saints who are visionaries, those who receive & share private messages. These are always for our own discernment.
