The timing of this opinion is so crazy but I follow my heart ❤️ and I truly believe in Marie Julie jahenny's predictions. Just like St. Faustina and Divine Mercy, Anne Emmerich, etc. St. Faustina's Diary has a few questionable statements that can be distressing. This was explained to me by my Mom 55 years ago. It was private devotion back then and the words of the Chaplet were different. If we do believe it or not is a personal thing. I would believe my Mom and granny over this Dr.

 

Can you share what the words of the chaplet were back then? And the parts of the diary that were distressing? I'm so interested in this. I've read most of the diary...not sure if I ever finished it. But did they change some things?

 

To all my fellow acid reflux, heartburn, and indigestion brothers and sisters. I had awful problems for years and still can now if I am not careful with diet. I had emergency gall bladder removal a year ago and leading up to that moment, anything I ate gave me issues because the organ was dying. Since removal, I just have to stay away from overly fatty meals and especially fried food. If I stay away from those types of things, I no longer have issues. If I do though, it can be awful awful nights of where I am up most of the night with horrible reflux and no amount of otc meds will work. I really think diet is key to most of our health problems especially in the US. Our food is awful for us and full of fake garbage. When I do try to eat organic and whole grains, good yogurts, low fat proteins, etc I have zero issues. I am really trying to break away from relying on otc meds for things like this as well as sinus and migranes. It was getting to a point where I would wake up every morning with terrible sinus headaches and nothing would make it feel better until I took 2 advil and 1 excederin. One can't do that everyday or the harm to our livers will be severe. So recently I have tried to move my cell phone away from my bedside at night to see if the wifi and emf was the problem. Thankfully it was and the problem has been solved!! I now charge my phone away from my bedside table and also have a copper cube on bedside to block the emf flying around the house better. I think there are many simple solutions to all our health issues once we dig a bit deeper. Of course there are, God gave us all the cures naturally if we only know where to look!

I find the book below a great help. Written by Maria Treben, a devout Catholic who spent years researching herbal remedies.

Incidentally, hawthorn is listed prominently in the book as a wonderful remedy.

Agree Andy, our food is terrible. I know so many people who've had gallbladder surgery recently, I've always been so fearful of this. Our sugary, processed, fried and fast food here in the US is likely the root of the problem. Yes, OTC meds are also an issue. I have really bad arthritis in my feet and I often reach for ibuprofen when I have a flare, but I know it's not good.

The words of the Divine Mercy Chaplet were different? Do you know more about this? If you could find any old prayer books or cards, I would love to see it if you could share it. It is unbelievable how much men interfere with the Lord's Will in communicating with us - it's not always done out of evil but from good intentions but men change things all the time and can't seem to obey. The prayer given to Our Lady of All Nations comes to mind (they changed the phrase "who was once Mary"). I do believe that the Lord comes to us several times to get His point across however. He appeared in Dozule in Normandy in the 70s and gave the seer there a chaplet that very close to the DM chaplet. I understood that the DM chaplet was not known then but I guess it makes sense that it circulated as a private prayer.

I've read a few books of MJJ and have retained very little of the content except for a few things and one of them she repeated often "the Pope is the link of the faith".

 

I also find Dr Eric Berg has valuable advice.

He has 11 million subscribers on YouTube (!!!).

You don’t have to agree with everything he says but he’s a big proponent of intermittent fasting (works wonders!) , diet changes and vitamin supplements to promote better health.

I was very impressed with the Sister (Sr. Irene Gibson) who set up this little order. However, although they deny it, it seems they may not be in the Roman Catholic Church. Just so you are aware of that jackzokay.

Sr. Irene started out as a Hermit on her own in Conemara. But nobody joined her, so she sold up and went to County Cork, Ireland. I think she gets just about everything right about the spiritual life. Hello Liza, thank you for the information on Hawthorn. I too live in North Florida. I wouild like to get a Hawthorne tree, but when I look it up online there seems to be several varieties.
