I can't speak to this subject nearly as good as it was recently done by our friend Mark Mallett, who used allot of church teachings, Saints, mystics, Popes writings, and prophetic utterances to give us the answer. I agree with Mark that indeed we are in the era of the return of Jesus. http://www.markmallett.com/blog/is-jesus-really-coming/

Thank you Fatima. Late last night, I did get the chance to read Mark's brilliant piece. My thoughts were more linear after that. He was saying precisely what I had originally thought. Of course, it had been gone over here at MOG not so long ago by Mark, Peter, etc.

St. Faustina's writings on such events, Illumination, if you will, will occur very close to the End, to Jesus' physical Second Coming. Of course, I may be misinterpreting her words. And, naturally I am cognizant of the fact that we aren't supposed to predict in the way a meteorologist does. I feel as though our Lord provides prophesy in order for us to be aware, not to complete the puzzle. In spite of knowing that, I would like to obtain a more clear understanding which may not be possible, either.

The signs are all pieces to the eternal puzzle, perhaps. I am so accustomed to being able to access information and answers through technology - that in itself says a lot, doesn't it? Still, it is nice to be able to 'bounce' thoughts around with others. It continues to totally amaze me that most people don't recognize that the world is upside down! Rather frightening...

I think your last sentence is perhaps the single most alarming and convincing pieces of evidence that we are living in the "end of the age". Romans chapter 1:22 "While they claimed to be wise, in fact they were growing so stupid". 28 In other words, since they would not consent to acknowledge God, God abandoned them to their unacceptable thoughts and indecent behaviour. 29 And so now they are steeped in all sorts of injustice, rottenness, greed and malice; full of envy, murder, wrangling, treachery and spite, 30 libellers, slanderers, enemies of God, rude, arrogant and boastful, enterprising in evil, rebellious to parents, 31 without brains, honour, love or pity.

Perfect, perfect, perfect, Fatima! Yet, I keep asking "why?" People with so much, yet so little. They see, yet are blind. I'm sure I only see a sliver of what you & most on here know, live and understand regarding Catholicism, and our Faith in general. I pray humanity wakes up to catch just a glimpse, especially before our extraordinary blessings from the Jubilee Year of Mercy are still available.

A Torah Scholar Helps Explain the Age Of Foolishness
    Jonathan B. Coe [IMG]

Maybe it takes a Torah scholar and religious Jew to help us understand the roots of the inverted values that animate Western civilization. For over ten years, author and radio talk show host Dennis Prager taught the first five books of the Bible verse-by-verse at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. According to Prager there is no greater concept in the Torah than that of “distinction,” or, put another way, the clear separation God makes between certain things: God and man, animal and human, life and death, sacred and profane, good and evil, male and female. He even goes so far as to call these distinctions “God’s Signature” on the created order. Like six pillars holding up a great house, when the structural integrity of those columns becomes significantly compromised, the whole house comes crashing down.

Of the six distinctions listed, the one between God and man is antecedent to all the others: once it is compromised, the others will fall too like so many dominoes. When Adam and Eve succumbed to the serpent’s temptation, they switched places with God and made themselves the arbiters of truth and morality. The seeds of their godship that were sown in Eden are coming to full flower in our age. In his magisterial work, The Study of History, the eminent historian Arnold Toynbee divides world history into twenty-one ages and makes the case that our present age is the first one whose prevailing ethos does not appeal to a divine text or a holy tradition for guidance in the major areas of life. To say that we are living in a post-Christian age is as obvious as saying that the sun rises in the east.

What’s sometimes overlooked is that this godship is not exclusively driven by agnostics and atheists, but receives major contributions by those calling themselves Christians. I can’t help but think of the recent effort by Catholics for Choice to overturn the Hyde Amendment thereby allowing taxpayer-funded abortions. Their position on this issue rejects two thousand years of Church teaching.

Then there are large sectors of the mainline Protestant denominations who have become so accommodating to the Zeitgeist that they are actually just the cultural ethos dressed up in religious vestments (e.g., the United Church of Christ). Chesterton was right that only dead fish swim with the current. Without guilt I admit that I am encouraged each time I read about their precipitous decline in membership and finances and look forward to their eventual placement on the slag pile of history. As the late, great Richard John Neuhaus used to say, “The mainline has become the sideline.”

When man becomes God, the other distinctions that Prager identified become blurred and introduce toxins into the cultural bloodstream. If people are not created in the image of God, then it follows that they are no different than animals. Prager cites the example of animal rights groups like the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), who call the slaughter of chickens a “Holocaust on a Plate,” thereby equating such an act with the slaughter of Jews during the Holocaust.

For over thirty years Prager has asked high school seniors the question, “If a stranger and your pet were both drowning and you could only save one, who would it be?” In this informal poll, about two-thirds of the students chose their pet. An Associated Press poll revealed that half of American pet owners consider their pet just as much a member of the family as anyone else. Prager is right to say that we live in the Age of Foolishness with our folly being rooted in a lack of reverence for God: the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

No reverence for God = no wisdom. No wonder our secular universities have become institutions where great knowledge (e.g., the hard sciences) is juxtaposed with great foolishness. In recent years, at Swarthmore College, a course was offered called “Interrogating Gender: Centuries of Dramatic Cross-Dressing.” Examples like this are plentiful. And practicing Catholics will be embarrassed to learn that the University of Notre Dame has twice hosted the Queer Film Festival.

Prager makes the case that one of the major reasons that the Torah was written was to counteract the values of Egyptian culture. Ancient Egypt loved death. Their holy book was the Book of the Dead and their pyramids were monuments that were merely tombs for their dead kings. The Torah, in contrast, was a Book of Life that told the nation of Israel that they had a choice between death and life and exhorted them to choose life. Priests were not allowed to enter a cemetery or be in the presence of a corpse. Many other laws were given to keep death and life separate.

If people are not ascribed the dignity of being creatures made in the image of God, it opens the floodgates of death in our culture with abortion, euthanasia and infanticide. More than 57 million abortions since Roe vs. Wade in 1973. Polls reflect that America is divided on the issue but the pro-choice camp may be pulling ahead. Princeton University has a feted professor and “ethicist,” Peter Singer, who believes that if a couple has a Down Syndrome child, they have the right to kill that child one month after his or her birth.

Remember the Terry Schiavo case. Like good ancient Egyptians, the supporters of that euthanasia had palpable contempt for their opponents. They loved death. I’m no Freudian but the episode seemed to lend credibility to the Freudian concept of a Death Drive (Wish). It called to mind Walker Percy’s last novel, The Thanatos Syndrome (In Greek mythology, Thanatos was the personification of Death), where the water supply of the town where the story takes place is poisoned with a chemical additive that leads to the demeaning and destruction of the townspeople. In the novel those in power euthanize the inactive, the old, and the sick.

Because there are so many examples that are easy to come by, it seems banal to talk about the blurring of distinctions in our culture between the sacred and profane. Recent decades have seen a loss of reverent awe among American Catholics in relation to how they dress and behave during Mass. Chewing gum is more common; people wear sweat pants, tank tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, flip flops, beach sandals, and sometimes dress immodestly. No wonder many earnest Catholics are running like frightened antelope to the Latin Mass. How would we dress if we were having dinner with the pope? Doesn’t partaking of the Holy Eucharist at least demand equal propriety? “Cultural Catholics” should also examine their lives. If you’re in Mass on Sunday morning, going through the motions, simply because you are an Italian from Providence, Rhode Island, or of Irish descent from Albany, New York, you may want to ask yourself if you’re taking Communion unworthily.

For a good snapshot of the sacred being devoured by the profane, look at the American Pie film franchise. The original 1999 teen sex comedy told the story of five friends who were high school seniors in western Michigan who made a pact to all lose their virginity by their graduation day. The movie takes its title from the Don McClean song but also from a scene in the movie that involves the main character engaging in autoeroticism with an apple pie because he heard that “third base feels like warm apple pie.” The movie cost $11 million to make but made over $235 million at the box office and spawned three more sequels and four direct-to-DVD spin-offs. What’s somewhat depressing is how easy it is to cite dozens of other commercial successes of similar moral degradation to this franchise.

Even more revolting than the vulgar pop culture is the landscape of the avant-garde art world. The homoerotic and sadomasochistic work of Robert Maplethorpe, the immersion of a crucifix in a jar of urine by Andres Serrano, or the spattering of elephant dung on a picture of the Virgin Mary in the work of Chris Ofili leave the orthodox Christian aghast. The distinction between the sacred and profane hasn’t been blurred; it’s been destroyed: the profane is the sacred in many fashionable precincts in the art world.

The natural consequence of secularism is moral relativism. The prominent atheists who follow their beliefs to their logical conclusion all say this: Nietzsche, Sartre, Russell, Mackie, et al. Other atheists contradict themselves. Prager talks about a professor he had at Columbia University Graduate School in the early 70s who would say, “There are no moral absolutes,” on Tuesday, then say, “The Vietnam War is evil,” two days later on a Thursday. In contrast, Nietzsche would opine that we sit as gods on the throne of our universe deciding right and wrong. Morality becomes a matter of taste: “You like jazz, I like classical, she likes rock & roll.” It makes no difference whether we help the elderly woman across the street or hit her with our car. As aghast as we may be by the beliefs of Peter Singer, he is very much living consistently with his atheism.

Back in 2005 Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said, “We are building a dictatorship of relativism that does not recognize anything as definitive and whose ultimate standard consists solely of one’s own ego and desires.” Dostoyevsky concurs: “If there is no God then everything is permitted.” It’s not by chance that the bloodiest regimes of the twentieth century were rooted in atheism—Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, et al—with 100 million perishing at their hands by starvation and in gulags and killing fields. The Spanish Inquisition, which is often cited to disparage the Catholic Church and make the point that most evil comes from religion, put to death approximately 3,000-5,000 people over a 350-year span. One death is too many but the Inquisition is like a bee bee rolling around in the railroad boxcar of atheistic Communism.

The Age of Foolishness continues in the realm of male and female. Prager’s first clue that Columbia University was not going to be a treasure trove of Solomonic wisdom was when he realized that many professors on campus believed that men and women were basically the same and that what seemed like differences were merely social constructs. Give little boys tea sets to play with and little girls trucks and you’ll see that this is true he was told. Only the little boys turned their tea sets into weapons of war and the little girls tucked their trucks in at night and gave them names. As George Orwell said, “There are some ideas that are so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them.”

At the same time who can’t support the First Wave of feminism that gave women the right to vote, execute wills, own property, attend college, etc.? What man can’t tip his cap to women who have attained places of high honor in our civilization: prime minister (Margaret Thatcher), CEO of a Fortune 500 company (e.g., Carli Fiorina), Harvard astrophysicist (e.g., Sallie Baliunas)? Unfortunately, we live in an age of overreach. One aspect of godship is when human beings assume divine prerogatives for themselves such as believing that there are no limits for themselves: “Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases” (Psalm 115:3 RSV).

Exhibit A: the issue of the ordination of women to the Catholic priesthood. There are limits: Jesus selected men and not women and those original apostles turned around and selected men and not women for ordained ministry. This pattern holds true for two millennia of Church history. Those who want women priests don’t understand that we have ontological limitations. In my being I cannot be a mother; I cannot carry a child in a womb for nine months and subsequently nurse that child until it is weaned. In fact, the nurture that a mother gives that child is qualitatively different than what I would give: it’s a difference in kind not a difference in degree. Women in their being cannot be fathers either biologically or spiritually. That’s not who they are. The priesthood is for spiritual fathers and there is an ontological chasm that women cannot bridge.

In the battle between distinctions in the Torah and our secular age, Prager says the Torah (Judeo-Christian values) is losing and I agree. We are like Jeremiah in 587 BC watching the Babylonian army reduce Jerusalem to a debris-strewn apocalypse. We are all called to continue to fight the good fight of faith to reverse the trend. As bleak as things can look sometimes, we must remind ourselves that, as counter-intuitive as this may sound, much good can come out of a period of captivity. In Babylon the Jewish exiles were (1) cured of their idolatry, (2) the office of the scribe emerged with its accompanying Rabbinic literature, (3) synagogues began, (4) Scripture was taught with renewed fervor, and (5) the Jewish people were more unified than they had been for centuries. Like Jeremiah we must be the Church Militant and stand against the spirit of the age and also hope against hope for renewal in the days to come.

I love this quote from Dennis Prager,

So wise and insightfuls. I live alone with my two dogs and am of course very fond of them. But my mother was a country woman with a lot of common sense and always treated a dog as a dog. I learnt form her on this. However as I am out and about I see that many people treat their dogs as children. This is crazy. The fori nstance of the madness and follishessness of our times in the way we treat our dogs is such a good example of how low we have sunk.

Another is our addiction to TV and smart phones.

I wandered in a little late for mass the other day and discovered from the beautiful liturgical prayers that it was the Feast of the Guardian angels. :) (2nd October.)

'Be alert in your every action as one should be who is accompanied by angels in all your ways, for that mission has been enjoined upon them. In whatever lodging, in whatever nook or corner you may find yourself, cherish a reverence for your guardian angel. In his presence do not dare to do anything you would not do in mine. Or do you doubt his presence because you do not see him? Would it really help if you did hear him, or touch him, or smell him? Remember, there are realities whose existence has not been proven by mere sight. Brethren, we will love God's angels with a most affectionate love; for they will be our heavenly co-heirs some day, these spirits who now are sent by the Father to be our protectors and our guides. With such bodyguards, what are we to fear? They can neither be subdued nor deceived; nor is there any possibility at all that they should go astray who are to guard us in all our ways. They are trustworthy, they are intelligent, they are strong — why, then, do we tremble? We need only to follow them, remain close to them, and we will dwell in the protection of the Most High God. So as often as you sense the approach of any grave temptation or some crushing sorrow hangs over you, invoke your protector, your leader, your helper in every situation. Call out to him and say: Lord, save us, we are perishing. —St. Bernard'

The knowledge that God has sent an angel to be our own very special guardiad has been a deep source of fascination and joy for me from childhood. As indeed how could it not be?

    Matthew 18:10

10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

    Psalm 91:11
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

    Psalm 34:7
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

But originally I think I was thinking of the angel guardian as kind of the delightful icing on the cake, a kind of Christmas tree decoration, magical and delightful. But in fact angels have a very ,very special role. The more we study up on it , the more special and important it is known to be.

It is wonderful to think that the angel may well be in place right from our mothers womb, so then we have the delightful picture of a pregnat woman with tow angels to gurd her!! ..and certainly that seems about right. :)

    Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

There is a wonderful Catholic legend ,attested by the saints that a persons angel guardian walks at their right side but that after they may become ordained their angel walks behind them in tribute to their much higher state. :)

Certainly as St Faustina indicates in her diary their seems to be Guardian angels for a wide variety of roles including guarding Churches. St Thomas Aquinas indicates their are guardina angles for cities and countries. St Michael himslef being the guardian of the Church.

Saint Faustina’s encounters with the heavenly spirits in the light of her diaryPart 2

By Sister M. Waclawa Siemienik ZMBM

    Angels– messengers of God’s plans

The entire life of man is an earthly trial, but it is also a period of grace during which the Creator constantly reveals himself (see Isaiah 54.8). The secret intentions of the Holy Trinity are revealed to the angels as well as to the saints. These celestial friends enkindled the faith of St Faustina to know God as Holiness, before whom all powers tremble.
In the course of St Faustina’s life as a religious, there were several significant encounters with angels sent to fulfill particular missions from God. Following an eight day retreat during the renewal of her vows, she saw Jesus dressed in a white robe with a golden belt and holding a sword in his hand.

She also saw a set of scales, which fell to the ground when Jesus placed the sword on one balance. When the time came for the renewal of their vows she could see angels, who had placed something taken from each of the sisters in a gold censer placing it on the second of the balances. This gift proved heavier than the weight of the sword. At this point she heard a voice say ‘Put the sword back in its place; the sacrifice is greater’ (Diary, 394).

Having the vision of Jesus and His angels gave St Faustina a deeper awareness of how great the debt is that the world, including consecrated souls, owes to His Justice.

When she considered the mystery of the Holy Trinity she experienced a mystical vision in which she saw an unattainable brightness, light emanating from three sources, from which words issued in the form of lightning encircling heaven and earth. The Saviour came out of the brightness, with opened wounds following the Passion and she heard a voice say, ‘neither angelic nor human intelligence will be capable of fathoming the essence of God’ (Diary, 30).

So, if an angelic mind is unable to fathom the essence of the Blessed Trinity, how much less capable is the human mind of doing so.

In the vision concerning the dissemination of Divine Mercy, the presence of the Angel of God’s anger played a crucial role, casting thunder and lightning onto the earth. She turned to him, asking him to wait for a time to allow the world to do penance. Unfortunately, her request was insignificant in the face of Divine Justice. At that moment Sister Faustina saw the most Holy Trinity and felt the grace Christ was granting her, which gave her the power of fervent prayer. She made use of words, which she heard internally – ‘Eternal Father I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.’ Praying in this way she became aware of the angel being rendered powerless to punish the world for its sins (Diary, 474). On the following day Jesus explained to the Saint that this is the Chaplet, which will quell God’s anger and encouraged her to recite it frequently.

Saint Faustina contemplated the immensity of the Divine Mercy shown to mankind. She wondered at the fact that the angels who had been disobedient to the Creator had been punished immediately. She presented this perplexity to Christ and received the answer that the heavenly spirits were granted a deep intelligence possessed by no human, not even by the greatest saints.
Encouragement to intimate contact with angels, as understood by Sister Faustina

Saint Faustina passed on to humanity her experience with the celestial spirits, encouraging a deep faith in their presence with us. She echoes the words of Padre Pio, who had said in a prophetic vision that the hour of the angels has now arrived.

Saint Faustina knew how great humanity’s debt is to God and that His anger is just. Following several visions in which she observed God’s anger, as well as the angels whom God sends to human kind, she ever more trustingly begged for God’s mercy. Her example impels mankind to an intimate relationship with the heavenly spirits, the best of guardians whom we can experience as brothers and friends. Faustina teaches that love is what is most important and that an increase in understanding the truth about God and His angels is dependant in an increase in our capacity to love. The fact that Saint Faustina met and kept company with angels of various scales within the celestial hierarchy, also illustrates the sense of continuity in the history of salvation which is still happening here and now. We can say that the Bible is not only the revelation of Divine Mercy to sinners but also the loving hand of God extended in man’s direction by means of the angels.

We are unlikely to see the angels whom God sends to us to warn us, to encourage us to conversion or to increase zeal – this is the role of our faith. We can be sure each day of our Guardian Angel’s willingness to help, granted to us by the loving bounty of the Creator.

The Secretary of the Divine Mercy encourages us to go into the depths of our own hearts, where we can always be in the company of the heavens and the earth. This is beyond the capacity of our mind to grasp solely by means of our intellect, by which we define our goals in life. The heart, into which God comes as a guest, is the sphere of the action of the Holy Spirit, often occurring through the mediation of our celestial friend. The presence of our Guardian Angel in our lives can be compared to the presence of the spirit within our bodies. Although undetectable to the eye or to the touch and only perceptible by means of a living faith, it gives assurance of its presence, enlightenment and help in taking prudent action. It is an entirely invisible and spiritual presence.

Saint Faustina tells of many angelic interventions in her life. Her encounters with these celestial visitors never obscured God, but led her to an ever-greater thankfulness for the unfathomable gifts expressed through the angels. If divine messengers were present in the history of Israel, in God’s Divine Son and in those saints, including our contemporary Sister Faustina, we can have an unshakable assurance that the Creator also sends His angels into our paths in life. They have the right and the power to influence and guide us. It is worthwhile for us to remember their presence to speak with them and call on their aid in every situation we encounter. By inviting them into our lives, we experience a friendship, which impacts in a positive way on our heart, our thoughts and desires. Christ promises us that He will acknowledge before God’s angels those who acknowledge Him before men (see Luke 12:8-9).

In one of her visions, Sister Faustina was led by her Guardian Angel before the throne of God. She saw many saints and an unattainable brightness as well as the place prepared for her, close to God. Her Guardian Angel informed her that this most particular place was reserved for her due to her faithfulness in fulfilling God’s will. However, two years prior to her death, Christ allowed his secretary a vision of hell. Her Guardian Angel accompanied her while she observed the different types of punishment there, which consists of the deprivation of God’s presence, eternal reproaches of conscience, awareness of the inalterability of one’s fate, a fire permeating the soul, as well as of despair, a hatred of the Creator and of cursing and blasphemy. ‘I, Sister Faustina, have, by the command of God been in the abysses of hell in order to testify that hell does exist’ (Diary, 741).

While being in a state of grace, let us invite the angels to instruct us how to continue doing the kind of penance which has the power to atone for our own sins and those of others. Let us call upon the aid of God’s messengers in sufferings of body and mind, in the struggles which we wage against our lusts and desires and with Satan.

Let us entrust our concerns to our celestial friends, entrusting to them the hour of our death. In situations which you considered entirely hopeless from the human standpoint, you will experience their help, while they, who contemplate the face of God, will find ways of coping with all situations in accordance with His Will.

The choice of our future fate depends on us, so let us entrust ourselves to the spirits of goodness so that they can help us to safely and joyfully come through our earthly pilgrimage.

October is of course the Month of the Holy Rosary and it is so interesting that on the Feast of the Holy Rosary itself, October 7th, the Dome of the Vatican should have been hit with what is descsribed as a massive lighting bolt.

The pervious big lighting strike was onm the another Marian Feast, that of Our Lady of Lourdes, just hours after the very controversial resignation of Pope Benedict on February 11, 2013 — the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. The apparitions at Lourdes being themselves closely associated with the roasry.

As was the apparitions of Fatima were Mary also encouraged Devotion ot the Rosary.

    Fourth apparition of Our Lady

In August the children were prevented by the civil authorities to go to the meeting of the 13th in which had gathered an immense crowd. The children for two days were confined and threatened with many torments to make them deny, but they did not surrender, they were ready to offer their lives not to betray the promises made to the Lady. When they had been released on August 19, while they fed the flock in a place called Valinhos they saw the Lady above a holmoak. " What do you want from me?" Lucy asked. "I Want you to continue to go to the Cova da Iria on the 13th, that you continue to say the Rosary every day. I, in the last month will make the miracle that all will believe." Then with a sadder appearance told them: "Pray, pray a lot and offer sacrifices for the sinners. You know that many souls go the hell because there is none who pray for them."

    Fifth apparition of Our Lady

On September 13th the children and about 30.000 persons accompanied them to the Cova da Iria and they there recited the Rosary, soon after appeared the Lady on the holmoak. "I Want you to come here on October 13 and that you continue to recite the Rosary to obtain the end of the war. In October the Lord, the sorrowful Lady, the Lady of Mt. Carmel, and St Joseph with the child Jesus, will also come to bless the world. God is glad of your sacrifices, He does not want you to sleep with the chord to the sides, use it only during the day."

Fatima, were Our Lady also warned of the very gravest dangers to Mother Church. So dnagerous that she adivsed that,

'In Portugal (at least) the Dogma of Faith will be preserved...'

The date of the latest strike on the Vatican , is the 1335th day following the first lightning strike. That is a prophetic biblical number. It symbolizes relief or victory after a period of patience and perseverance: “Blessed is the man who has patience and perseveres unto one thousand, three hundred and thirty-five days” (Daniel 12: 12). Could this strike from the heavens at the Vatican Basilica on this Feast-Day be a symbolic indication that the great weapon of the Holy Rosary will be Our Lady’s ‘sword’ to combat and vanquish the subtle doctrinal evil and confusion that has increasingly afflicted the Church from the very top down, following Benedict’s fateful decision to relinquish his God-given office?
As at Lepanto, 445 years ago today, this number 1335 could also symbolize another victory eventually to be won by Our Lady of the Rosary over the new Islamic threat to Europe – the tattered remains of Christendom! – presented by the unassimilable Muslim masses now invading that continent as “refugees”. For the great year of Our Lady of the Rosary, 1917, when she appeared under that title at Fatima (a name with strong Muslim resonance), was the 1335th year on the Muslim calendar, which begins with 622 A.D., the year of the Hegira, the ‘Flight of the Prophet’ to Medina. (The traditional Muslim lunar calendar has only 354 days.) So the coins of the Ottoman Empire of 1917 bear the date “1335”. That was also the year in which the Muslims lost control of the Holy City of Jerusalem for the first time since the Crusades. The conquering Christian British forces under General Edmund Allenby marched into the Old City through the ancient Jaffa Gate on December 11, 1917 (feast day of Pope St. Damasus who fought heresies in the early Church).

I like this message from Pedro Regis 29 Sept 2016

4367 - Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace on the Anniversary of the Apparitions

Dear children, I am your Mother. I ask you to be obedient to My Call, for I want to lead you to the One who is your only Way, Truth and Life. Do not live in sin. Repent and serve the Lord with gladness. Give the best of yourselves in the mission that has been entrusted to you. Know that great will be your reward. You are in the world, but you belong to the Lord. Value the treasures that the Lord offers you through His Church. I need your sincere and courageous witness. Give me your hands and I will lead you to holiness. I know each one of you by name and will always be at your side. Tell everyone that this is the time of Grace. What you have to do, do not leave for tomorrow. You belong to the Lord and Him alone should you follow and serve. Courage. Nothing is lost. God will act on behalf of His Elect and they will not experience defeat. The victory of those devoted to Me is reserved as a reward for their faithulness. Onward. This is the message I give you today on behalf of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.

    May 9, 1995. Message 951 (in Venice)
Dear Sons and Daughters, I invite you to pray for the conversion of sinners and lovingly live the messages I have already transmitted to you! And pray in a special way for My first beloved son, Pope John Paul II! Know, all of you, that the Church of my Son will pass through a crisis such as has never been seen. Cardinals and bishops will turn against the Pope, many will lose the faith, but as I have said, hear the voice of him who is truly the successor to the chair of Peter. The Pope is betrayed by his closest collaborators. There are few who have the courage of Peter, but many who have the courage of Judas. Pray! I repeat, Pray! The decisive time is coming. Those who are with the Lord will come out the better. All this must happen, but in the end the Lord will conquer. Courage! You are not alone. My Son goes with you. This is the message that I transmit to you in the name of The Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for permitting me to reunite you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.

    May 28, 1996. Message 1117
Dear Sons and Daughters, I also invite you to obey your ecclesiastical superiors. Don’t back away! Go to meet my Son Jesus. Pray! Pray for my beloved firstborn son, the Pope John Paul II. I want to tell you that the Church of my Jesus will pass through a crisis such as has never been seen since its foundation….

    January 1, l997. Message 1210
Dear Sons and Daughters, Pray for the Church of my Jesus. It will suffer because of great persecutions. Many of my beloved children will turn against the Pope. There will be a great schism. True doctrine will be denied even by members of the hierarchy. Pray. The Church of my Jesus will be attacked, it will be the target of great attacks. Only the faithful, the true faithful, will remain firm. Don’t be frightened by what I say. You need to hear this so that when it happens you will remember that I foretold it. Don’t lose hope. You who are with me will be supported and protected….

    January 4, 2005. Message 2465
Dear Sons and Daughters – There will be a great tempest, and the great vessel will be struck. Now is the time of the great tribulations I announced to you in the past.

    January 8, 2005. Message 2467
Dear Sons and Daughters – When the king is taken off his throne a great battle will begin, and light will lose its brilliance.

    January 11, 2005. Message 2468
Dear Sons and Daughters – A great city in ruins and there will no longer be a king in his throne. They say in vain, “gold is no longer gold.”

    January 19, 2005. Message 2472
Dear Sons and Daughters – A well dressed man will enter into the house of God and will take a special place. The enemies of God will join him and will do great damage to all humanity. He will seem like a good man and will seduce many people. The rock will not be overcome because God is faithful to His promises. Put all your trust in The Lord. Those who faithfully follow the Gospel and accept My appeals will never experience the weight of defeat. Don’t lose heart.

    March 19, 2005. Message 2497
Dear Sons and Daughters – A great ship will be on the high seas, and all aboard will be surprised by Christ in front of them. A divided reign and an empty chair. The existence of two kings will spread great confusion throughout the world, but God will come to the aid of His people. His chosen ones will not be left helpless. Trust in the Lord.

    March 31, 2005. Message 2503
Dear Sons and Daughters – Pray also for the Church of My Son Jesus. By the decision of a proud man, holes will be made, but what is found will be the fruit of falsity. The true treasure is not buried. The devil will do everything to take you away from the truth, but pay attention. The truth of My Jesus is in the Gospel. Be careful.

    April 12, 2005. Message 2507
Dear Sons and Daughters – The day will come when there will be contempt for the dogmas and many will have their faith shaken.

    April 19, 2005. Message 2512
Dear Sons and Daughters – Pray for the new successor of Peter. With him, the Church will go forward, but will be persecuted by its enemies. The Holy Father will experience calvary, for many of his positions will be contrary to the enemies of the Church.

    May 31, 2005. Message 2529
Dear Sons and Daughters, pray. … The palace will be surprised by a furious and bloody invasion by men with big beards. … . Know that there will be great changes in nature.

    June 24, 2005. Message 2539
Dear Sons and Daughters – …. Its good to pray for the Pope Benedict XVI. A stone of stone will be broken.

Dear Sons and Daughters Terrorists will come to the Vatican. The plaza will be filled with corpses. Humanity will see the evil action of the men with long beards.

    November 14, 2006. Message 2759
Dear Sons and Daughters, Humanity lives in the darkness of spiritual blindness. The action of the devil will lead many to lose the true faith. You will yet see horrors on earth. The Church will be persecuted. The throne of Peter will fall, but in the end the just will conquer. …. A great religious war will come, and the faithful will be thrown out. Love the truth and defend it. The Lord is at the side of His own. Courage.

    March 22, 2007. Message 2814
Dear Sons and Daughters – The Church will be shaken and there will be a great division.

    March 31, 2007. Message 2818
Dear Sons and Daughters – Men will try to break the key and there will be great confusion.

    April 5, 2007. Message 2820
Dear Sons and Daughters – Pray for the Church of My Jesus, because the time of great sufferings is drawing near. Pray for the successor of Peter. The time of great suffering for him is coming. Many of his own will abandon him.

    April 12, 2007. Message 2823
Dear Sons and Daughters – The day will come when faith will be present in very few hearts. There will be a great contempt for what is sacred, and more and more ministers of God will be contaminated by moral corruption. The banquet will be despised and many will be left famished. They will reach out, but there will be few places where they will find those who can give them the precious nourishment. When this time comes, know that the great day is close at hand.

    April 23, 2007. Message 2828
Dear Sons and Daughters – The action of the devil will lead many to deny the faith. A terrible plan will be put in practice with the objective of destroying the Church of My Jesus. Many will back out and the king will feel alone.

    July 7, 2007. Message 2860
Dear Sons and Daughters – A king will be threatened and they will try to remove him from his throne. What I have foretold in the past is about at happen.

    July 14, 2007. Message 2863
Dear Sons and Daughters, The men with big beards are preparing a terrible action against the palace of the king.

January 8, 2008. Message 2940 – from Our Lady of Peace.
Dear Sons and Daughters, when the throne falls and it is no longer possible for the king to remain, there will be a great contempt for dogmas, and few will remain firm in the faith.

October 27, 2007. Message 2908 from Our Lady of Peace.
Dear Sons and Daughters, The union of the big bearded men with those of the red will cause great pain to humanity. ….The line will be broken. The pain will be great. I ask you to keep the flame of faith burning.

November 14, 2007. Message 2916 – from Our Lady of Peace.
Dear Sons and Daughters – The day will come when perverse men will occupy privileged positions in the house of The Lord. These will be the ones who will attract those who oppose Christ to within the Church. This will be the time in which the Sacred is thrown out and the faithful will be persecuted. Few will remain firm in the faith, but by these few, God will make a great hope arise for His people. After all the tribulation the Church will experience great joy. The victory of The Lord will be visible to those who remain faithful to the end.

January 5, 2008. Message 2939 – from Our Lady of Peace, Anguera.
Dear Sons and Daughters – A war will explode on Rome and there will be few survivors. He who is against Christ will bring suffering and sorrow to all Europe. The throne of Peter will be empty. Tears of pain and weeping of lamentations will be seen in the Church.

January 8, 2008. Message 2940 – from Our Lady of Peace, Anguera.
Dear Sons and Daughters – When the throne falls and it is no longer possible for the king to remain, there will be a great contempt for dogmas, and few will remain firm in the faith.

January 17, 2008. Message 2944 – from Our Lady of Peace, Anguera.
Dear Sons and Daughters – My Jesus was betrayed by one of His chosen, and delivered to the enemies. The day will come when His Church will be betrayed by one of those chosen to defend it. The enemy will have great strength because of the support of many consecrated persons. Behold the time of the great spiritual battle for the Church. Know that despite the damage the opposition will cause, the Church will never be overcome. The Church will remain alive and strong in the hearts of the faithful. Pray. Fear not. This must happen, but in the end The Lord will be victorious.

January 25, 2008. Message 2947 – from Our Lady of Peace, Anguera.
Dear Sons and Daughters – The Church will carry a cross of affliction, desolation, and humiliation. Because of bad pastors, great dogmas of faith will be denied, and the faithful will become cold and full of doubts. The Church will be tormented by great tempests, and few will remain firm in the faith. These will be difficult times for my poor children, but The Lord is not far from you. After all the tribulation, there will come a great victory of The Lord….

January 29, 2008. Message 2949 – from Our Lady of Peace, Anguera.
Dear Sons and Daughters – The day will come when many of those of the hierarchy will bend to false ideologies and embrace false doctrines. It will be a time of great afflictions for the Church….

Could the 1335 days be 3 1/2 years, and, if so, what is the meaning of this period of time?
