He needs them. Do you think that he is superman because he is the pope? This Great Reset thing has evolved over centuries, as discussed in another thread. It is Good vs Evil. While some may think everyone has chosen sides at this point, I am not going there, for the simple reason that would basically be me condemning some of my own close family & friends, let alone the Pope. This battle is truly the Lord's. The Pope, who by his own words was once rigid, is going the wrong way now, no doubt. So did St. Paul. So did you. So did I. But I am no saint. So that's all I'll say on the matter.
