Must find out more about this. I have been struggling of late because of the impact of childhood trauma caused by conflict in my home life in my early years. Never seems to have left me and I am 53 years old so it is not something that you just 'grow out of'.
The other one is the Institute for the Healing of Memories founded by Fr Michael Lapsley. It started in South Africa but I think it us international now. I saw this on a thread here on MOG entitled Our Lady of Akita statue. A very interesting piece. Hope this helps with those deep wounds of the soul.
I love that hymn. I love the return to an understanding of our Jewish roots. I believe Pope Pius x11 spoke of the Jewsas , 'Our Spiritual grandparents in the Faith'. I am fond of Pius xii I hope they make him a saint. Apparently his last word before he died was, 'Mother' he had a very great devotion to Our Lady. Plus he never made off the cuff remarks in airplanes which was a great mercy. http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/pope-francis-thinking-about-declaring-pius-xii-a-saint/
Here is another gentleman I hope will be declared a saint, the remarkable Rabbi Zolli, Chief Rabbi of Rome who becamea Cahtolic. I suspect the influence of Pope Pius xii who savedso many Jews may have influenced him. http://www.tabletmag.com/jewish-life-and-religion/196727/the-apostasy-of-rabbi-zolli
Yes Bobby I hear ya sometimes when pandora's box gets opened the contents scare the hell out of you..I'll add a few prayers for you or maybe if you want we could pray together I have heard of a special family tree healing prayer/novena I must look it up..
I have been coming to this forum now for almost seven years (but mostly lurk) and it is a source of spiritual food of sorts. I often think and pray for so many of the posters (who no longer post) whose contributions here have helped me along in faith. I dare not mention any by name as I don’t want to omit any but I do hope and pray they are in a good place.
Fr John Hampsch has prayers addressing this very thing. He had a whole ministry devoted to inter generational healing. So does Fr Robert DeGrandis.
Hi everyone, I have been gone for awhile, mainly trying to evangelize non-Catholic (Protestant) brothers and sisters. Sharing with them, private revelation is saying the same, the Protestant, Catholic and the few Orthodox messages each of the three given in the style of understanding or hearing. Also, trying to help with objections to the Faith. Ha, I think I only touched one brother concerning the prophetic. Please offer a prayer for me. This last month has been difficult, today is one month since I found out I have breast cancer. I begin Chemo this week. I know now that it goes these days, for a lot of people, Chemo then surgery. I am wuss, I've never been seriously ill. There was only one tough test, because I am claustro. The MRI. I prayed Mary's prayer the whole time (25 minutes). February 26, 2018 Our Lady of Zaro ...My dearly beloved children, do not despair but have faith in the Lord Jesus; With the death of Jesus on the Cross everything does not finish, it is rather there that everything begins - with His Resurrection the gates of Heaven open up to you. Children there is no resurrection without the passion, there is no joy without pain. Everything passes, only the immense love of the Lord remains forever. The above, I've shared on the forum of my writing down parts (that strike me) of the messages from Heaven on index cards. Our Lady's words really help me especially in the beginning surprise and fog of finding out. GBY all,
