They will do anything they can to stay in power…you can count on it! Republican leadership needs to secure our vote!

    :(

In August I'd considered employment which would entail driving (in stop-and-go traffic). I decided to remain working in my home (with no benefits and no health insurance) ... for weeks I wondered if I'd made the right decision. (n) It seems I have. Trusting the Lord to keep me healthy.

Keep your vehicles well tuned, folks. Changes of spark plugs and oil. Tire pressure. Wheel alignment (I'm married to a former mechanic!). Will help boost gas mileage! Use cruise control when able, too!

Good advice. Getting a oil and filter change this week if the filter is available. Buy non perishable everything before the prices go up. I heard a tube of tooth paste will be $6.00! Dentures might be cheaper :ROFLMAO::D

I asked husband for additional advice.

Check fuel filter and air filter; replace with new as necessary.

I sure hope toothpaste doesn't go that high!

This morning I stocked up on wheat and corn products (boxed cereals, flour, cornmeal, etc.).

It might be a long term event….beans and rice store long term…just in case. Buy spices to spice it up

Also, some may not be aware of a outdoor solar oven. They can bake and boil water. Works entirely by solar power…even in the winter. A bit pricy, but there is no fuel/ cost needed to operate it…unless the government starts to add a solar tax to each of us:mad:

That's pretty cool Beth, but yes, very pricey. Ill have to cook over my fire pit in the woods.

    Honestly Jo,
It’s a simple box with four sun reflectors. If you have someone handy, there are plans online to build one. It’s pretty ridiculous of a price for such a simple contraption. But it works! They are used in third world countries that have no other means of cooking….not even fire wood available. So for them, this is lifesaving. Those poor folks aren’t used to the luxuries we’ve become accustomed to. I feel very spoiled. The party might be over

What you do then is mix baking soda and a little salt into a paste, and use that to brush your teeth. Add a drop or two of peppermint oil in if you want a "flavored" toothpaste.

I heard charcoal is good to use - idk if that means if the ashes from a fire work. Does sound umm a little unpalatable

That was already roughly the price of a tube of toothpaste in Ireland even before any of this started :ROFLMAO:

Our government is planning to cut exise duty on petrol so we might be back at normal levels of astronomically expensive in the next few days.

I'm currently earning more than I ever have before, which still isn't saying much, but if I were to rent a house it would cost me roughly half my monthly salary, excluding bills. But that's not a problem because there is literally nothing available to rent in my area anyway.

Holy cow Adoremus….prices in Ireland must be nuts! Well I’m glad your gas might level off….I don’t see that in the USA. It will change everything in how we live because it will affect everything that is made and transported. Gas lines were long yesterday.
Boy, did this happen fast. You go from Covid crisis to going broke crisis. I’m not sure how to prioritize my worries anymore

We did this occasionally when I was growing up. It’s whitening, too.

I was in the grocery store yesterday and many people had sour expressions on their faces. A grim bunch.
I like the way you said, “ going broke crisis.”
I’m not telling what I just paid for heating oil.

HH…the powers to be know what they are doing here to us. This is way too big and complex, but just IMO…this is part of the global reset that might be the chastisement. I keep hearing in my head, “ when communism is at its worse”.( Garabandal).
It’s not there yet, plenty more to come, but none of it good. Personally, I do not see a political solution to this if God in His permissive will is allowing this. If you’re not on your knees yet, it won’t be long. I’m a poor sufferer…glad to be getting older…my heart breaks for the youth who’ve either never had faith or worse, lost it. I’ll be offering up everything to get my family into heaven, but I’m admittedly spoiled in many ways, so it will be hard. Going to try to fast today, but I’m such a wimp….:notworthy:
I pray in Gods Divine Mercy that He allows the warning. It may be the only wake up call the world gets.
