    It seems to me the prophecies that relate to this speak of very real physical parts of the Chastisement. They don't speak in vague terms that could be interpreted in a spiritual way like "a wave coming over people". They speak of very real physical effects like lakes and rivers leaving their boundaries and coastal areas being washed away to the bottom of the sea.

    That is very true. That is why I pray for my family. We all know people, those we love dearly who need to be open to necessary changes come the Warning.

    Padraig: I won't be leaving Ireland. More than anything, family ties keep me here, as much for my own sake as theirs. I'm too old to start again in a foreign country. Anyway, I wouldn't move to Spain because, among other things, I think they are years ahead of us where apostasy is concerned although we are catching up fast enough to be on the verge of overtaking them. Better the devils we know than those we don't. Added to that, I'm inclined to have the attitude that it's God who decides when our time on earth is finished and, provided we keep ourselves in a state of grace, the end of this life will be the start of a far, far better life.

    I'm the type who tends to look for the pitfalls before making a life changing decision, so pardon me if this looks like I'm throwing a wet blanket over your plans. I'm sure I don't need to caution you about doing plenty of research before making the move but just in case.......

    Check out housing regulations in Spain. It's not unheard of for foreigners to buy apartments or houses which turn out to be illegal for all sorts of reasons. If you plan on buying one of those old houses in a deserted mountain village, have it checked out by a surveyor before parting with any money. Old houses often have asbestos in them. They are likely to have been built with no damp proofing. Double check the water/sewerage facilities as well as the power supply and the cost of getting them up to standard. You don't want to be stuck up a mountain in icy or snowy weather relying on melted snow for drinking/cooking and a bucket for a toilet. Take a good look around the area and try to visualise yourself living there in advanced old age. Prophecies don't come with a specific date and sometimes for reasons we won't be aware of in this life, they might not be fulfilled at all.

    Most of all, bear in mind that currency exchange fluctuations could make a huge difference to the value of your pension. You should know soon enough what reciprocal arrangements are in place between the UK and Spanish health services. Spain's health service has a good reputation, but that could change if some of its regions go independent. Check what in-patient care is like for people with no family to see to their needs. Private health insurance is an option but many insurers have an upper age limit for cover.

    Also, be very, very careful about testing the spirits. Reading In Sinu Jesu, I'm struck by how nervous the author was that his locutions were genuine. Be careful, Padraig, and don't burn all your boats until you are absolutely 100% certain that you are making the right move.

    Thank God for your practical outlook Dolores. You made me laugh out loud.
    I'm trusting in God. Like yourself I figure I'm too old for upping sticks and the devil you know etc. My worries are always for my grandchildren's future. It's looking worrying at the moment as to how the families are to deal with the filth planned by our government for them.
    We truly live in evil days.

    I do not and can not believe that Christ gave the keys of the kingdom to Cardinal Bergoglio.
    If that were true, then Christ has betrayed us. But Christ cannot be unfaithful. He is perfect.
    Cardinal Bergoglio has openly gone against the First Commandment with that joint statement with the imam about God willing the plurality of religions, and now again with the horrendous idol worship in the Amazon synod. He is the devil in shepherd's clothing.

    There are so many facts, that I've mentioned before, that indicate that BXVI is still the Pope.
    I fully believe in Christ's words about giving us a Vicar on earth (Peter the Rock) who would defend the faith that Christ Himself taught the apostles.
    I am not a sedevacantist.

    "We must obey God, and not man."

    Padraig I know in my heart that whatever you decide to do God is by your side and so how can you fail, you know very well that I have studied the prophecies of St Patrick I personally feel that the great wave won't cover all of Ireland my belief in this comes from when God moved me from my last home to where I am now the difference in altitude is 100 meters I know God is keeping me safe..

    Mary Rose, Dolours you could move to Cork ;);)

    Christ chose Judas. Does that make Him imperfect?
    Did He make a mistake in choosing him?
    Or did He have a plan that was not apparent to those around Him?

    God did not choose Pope Francis. The Cardinals did.
    The Catholic teaching on conclaves is not that the Holy Spirit chooses who is Pope, but that He guides the electors...if He is listened to. They always have free will.

    I'd need a passport and probably an intepreter. Might as well move to Portugal. At least I know that the dogma of the faith will be preserved there although with my luck it would be the opposite end of Portugal to wherever I settled.

    Our Lord will, indeed, be with Padraig wherever he goes. Co. Meath might be an easier option. Maybe somewhere near Silverstream Priory. God hardly had that monk start a monastery there only to wash it away in a flood. I think it significant that it's not very far from Slane where St. Patrick lit the Paschal fire.

    "In Portugal, the Dogma of the Faith will always be preserved."

    I believe that means in all of Portugal.

    I live 15 minutes from the Cork border. Parts of Cork are low lying. Cork city is regularly flooded. I have known many holy people from Cork but I'll stay where I have been placed and hope for the best. I'm sure the hand of God will be with Padraig in his travels

    What I find intriguing and maybe significant is that every time Our Holy Mother appeared in the last 200 years or so it was always inland!

    Never on the coast.

    And always at a certain minimum elevation.

    Correct me if I am wrong - I may be missing something - but it surely seems that way.

    Is she sending a message? That all major Marian shrines will be preserved from a future major event?

    La Salette - 1,130 m above sea level;

    Fatima - 350 m (1,150 ft) above sea level;

    Lourdes - 420 m (1,380 ft);

    Medjugorje - 200 m (660 ft);

    Garabandal - 600 m (1,968 ft) above sea level;

    Sanctuary of Our Lady of Laus (France) - 900 m above sea level;

    There´s also the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Mexico city - very high - 2,250 m (7,350 ft);

    The Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida (major pilgrimage site in Brazil - 542 m (1,778 ft) above sea level).

    Basilica of Our Lady of Good Success, Quito, Ecuador - very high: 2,850 m (9,350 ft);

    Even the Knock Shrine is not on the coast - not high at all, but inland - 78 m (256 ft) above sea level.

    The exception might be Akita, which is low-lying (14 m) but no major Marian shrine was created there and it is not a pilgrimage site. Sister Agnes received a number of messages (absolutely credible in my view) and that´s that - possibly it was not destined to become a phenomenon like any of the other sites mentioned above.

    At some point in every Rosary and in almost every decade my petition is (in part at least) for this man but not just for him but also for those many cardinals, bishops, priests, religious and laity who support him and his 'spirit of surprises'. He is only one soul but he is misleading MANY and encouraging MANY in their sins and their spiritual fates are also imperilled and are just as important to God as Francis' own. Don't forget them. My Rosary petitions are that he and his supporters (especially the consecrated) will be converted or, if they are impervious to the Holy Spirit, that they be silenced and quickly, especially him.

    Here is Bishop Athanasius' Schneider's prayer on this subject:

    With tears in one’s eyes and with sincere sorrow in the heart, one should offer to God prayers of intercession and reparation for the eternal salvation of the soul of Pope Francis, the Vicar of Christ on earth, and the salvation of those Catholic priests and faithful who perpetrated such acts of worship, which are forbidden by Divine Revelation. One could propose for this aim the following prayer:

    “Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, receive through the hands of the Immaculate Mother of God and Ever Virgin Mary from our contrite heart a sincere act of reparation for the acts of worship of wooden idols and symbols, which occurred in Rome, the Eternal City and the heart of the Catholic world, during the Synod for the Amazon. Pour out in the heart of Our Holy Father Pope Francis, of the Cardinals, of the Bishops, of the priests and lay faithful, your Spirit, who will expel the darkness of the minds, so that they might recognize the impiety of such acts, which offended your Divine majesty and offer to you public and private acts of reparation.

    Pour out in all members of the Church the light of the fullness and beauty of the Catholic Faith. Enkindle in them the burning zeal of bringing the salvation of Jesus Christ, true God and true man, to all men, especially to the people in the Amazon region, who still are enslaved in the service of feeble material and perishable things, as they are the deaf and mute symbols and idols of “mother earth”, to all people and especially to the people of the Amazonian tribes, who do not have the liberty of the children of God, and who do not have the unspeakable happiness to know Jesus Christ and to have in Him part in the life of your Divine nature.

    Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you the one true God, besides Whom there is no other god and no salvation, have mercy on your Church. Look especially upon the tears and the contrite and humble sighs of the little ones in the Church, look upon the tears and prayers of the little children, of the adolescents, of young men and young women, of the fathers and mothers of family and also of the true Christian heroes, who in their zeal for your glory and in their love for Mother Church threw in the water the symbols of abomination which defiled her. Have mercy on us: spare us, O Lord, parce Domine, parce Domine! Have mercy on us: Kyrie eleison!”

    Judas was not the Rock upon which Christ built His Church.
    Popes are the successors of St Peter and are to be Rocks that would not change the teachings of the Faith.

    I know.
    Cardinal Bergoglio was elected by the machinations of the evil ones who infiltrated the Church.

    But I maintain that Benedict XVI is still the true Pope.

    Bishop Schneider is just wonderful. Wonderful.

    But of course he is not alone in this, there have been many Bishops and Cardinals who have taken a stand. Though perhaps a few rather late in the day.
