I am very leery of this and am praying for PF. It's my opinion that the media as well as factions in the church will push hard for PF ouster. However, I am not convinced a more sound Pope will be elected. In fact, I think it could very well go the other direction considering all the cardinals elected under him and outside forces aligned with them.

Don, I am with you 100%. While I’ve been at times unhappy with some of what I’ve seen from PF, he is the Supreme Pontiff… period. He needs our prayers.

yes, it cuts in both ways. We don't want future Popes being deposed.

At times, when reading Ann Barnhardt, one fears that she is being too extreme, yet in time one comes to realise she might have been right. Usually, she is dealing with issues that we might never know with certainty, in this world, and she reaches an occasional conclusion with which I have to differ.

She published a recent item on her blog, in which a retired Italian General says that a US government official assured him in 2005 that Benedict would be 'forced' to resign.

Apparently, Pope Benedict's casket was driven to St Peter's in 'a grey cargo van'.

But, there was worse to come. According to Barnhardt, Cardinal Gambetti, archpriest of St Peter's, wanted Benedict's exposed body left in the dark and alone and unattended for the three nights of his lying in state. According to the report, the Swiss Guard refused to abandon Benedict, and there were always Guards by his side, although they were forced to do so off-duty without pay, on-duty Guards were forbidden (and were compelled to obey orders) and those who stayed all night voluntarily were compelled to complete their normal duty-rosters.

This sounds like hatred trying to pursue beyond the grave. Wonderful that the Swiss Guard wouldn't leave Benedict's body alone. I daresay angels guarded him as well.

I know how Ann can be, but this could be true. When I saw the first photos of Pope Benedict lying in state in that cold looking room, I had a feeling something was off. God bless those Swiss Guards. I noticed the cargo van too, I think the Vatican could have done better. :(

Apparently a cross appeared in the sky over one of the Roman hills during the funeral or as it was ending. Photograph on 'fromRome'.

Sorry just saw this today. A slight correction.
    IT”S 4 POPES (Not 3 ) until the “ end of THE times “
Conchita said after the death of JohnXXIII , there would be 4 more popes ,”until the end of THE times” ,(NOT the end of all time, NOT the end of the Popes either ) meaning a new era . Well, ( after the 4 popes Paul VI, JP I, JP II, Benedict ) it is now that we will experience the WARNING & MIRACLE.

Albrecht Weber, the author of the book “The Finger of God“, had become involved in Garabandal in 1963 and became friendly with Conchita. On November 14, 1965, the day after the last apparition of Our Lady in Garabandal, Mr. Weber interviewed Conchita at her home in the presence of her mother. There was also present with Mr. Weber an interpreter. During that interview, it came out that when Conchita had spoken, on the very day that Pope John XXIII died, of “Three more Popes and then would come the end of the times,” her mother had asked her several questions.

In response to one of her mother’s questions, Conchita responded that Our Lady had actually said that there would be FOUR MORE POPES but that She was not counting one of them. When Conchita’s mother heard that she strictly forbade Conchita to repeat that again as her mother feared there would be erroneous interpretations and much gossip. People might wrongly believe that one of the Popes might be false or bad, etc. During that conversation with her mother, Conchita also said that Our Lady had told her that one of the Popes would have a very short reign. (which turned out to be Pope John Paul I only 33 days ! )

Now of course the debate starts over the legitimacy of Pope Francis, adding fuel to the fire, I always thought is was interesting that our Blessed Mother stopped just short of naming the the pope who this would happen during his reign, she just said after those next four. I guess the future will explain why.

Just saw this in my Twitter feed...

Archbishop Gänswein has been given written notice by the Pope to quit the Mater Ecclesiae monastery by February 1.
