AED, Your son is in my prayers. O Lord, pour out your healing, protective grace. Give him patience in regard to isolation and restrictions. May you reveal your tender Heart to him at this time, so he may experience the depth and constancy of Your Love! Dear Lady, wrap him in your Mantle of maternal love!
AED consider giving your son the Zpac. Although it’s for bacterial infection, and not a virus, but it helps with inflammation. Praying for him.
I know. I wish I could. But he lives almost 2 hours away but he is in touch with his MD so I will suggest he ask for one. Thanks Byron.
He is feeling better. We’ll see what doc says. Thank you and hoping and praying for you son. Will be at Adoration tomorrow.
I hope all here and those for whom they've asked prayers are doing better. I wanted to update that my son developed a cold immediately after the strep and his tonsils have been inflamed, so sleeping and eating have been rough for him. But he's on the mend. We're going to take him to get tested for any underlying allergies he may have that could be suppressing his immune system. He did have a huge growth spurt during all this sickness too... He went from saying 1 word at a time to full sentences, and can do many new things like putting his own socks on and doing more complicated puzzles. So his little body has been working hard. Please pray that he starts eating better soon and gets some more weight on him. He's such a tiny little guy and he eats so poorly when he's sick. As far as the situation with MIL, two things have happened. God helped me relax and accept the situation...and then MIL started getting really tired of constantly playing and majorly backed off. Now she goes out to visit her sisters almost every day, and I have plenty of time to spend with the kids. God is so good in that He usually makes sure I learn my lesson and THEN He comes to the rescue.
Just want to to update all of you and thank you again for the prayers. My son is back to work this week. The covid is seemingly over although still congestion and no taste or everything tastes rotten. His wife is a few days behind on the recovery arc. Their kids never got it thanks be to God. So the crisis is over. Thank you all so much for the prayers.
Hi from New Zealand everyone. My daughter who is 23 came down with Covid yesterday. She said it has hit her quite hard. She lives a long way from me so I cannot go and see her or help her. She was just about to move out of her flat to go live in a different flat, when she got sick. She is stuck in a difficult situation in her current flat. Please pray for her to get well soon and to either find a new and better flat in her city or to return home to my house where she can have proper care and help through this food and fuel crisis which is hurting all of us. Her name is Stephanie. I would be most grateful for prayers for her recovery. Maybe I should travel up to see her, though I would need to stay in a nearby motel / hotel if I go.
Praying for Stephanie, Lumena. And for you. It will be an unpleasant week but she will get through it. At 23 she may well not have a hard case. My son said the first 3 days were awful but then it was just the fatigue. After 7 days he was on the mend. Same thing with my DIL. Keep us posted.
Thank you so much, AED. It's sleep time here in NZ but Ill check back in to MOG in morning with an update.
