Me too. Maybe it’s Covid living or the current grave messages from Heaven. For the last few weeks, I wake up thinking I am not close to God. I am not going to Heaven. It is an anxiety I have never felt before in now twenty two years since returning, my conversion. Comes repeatedly to my mind during the day. It is awful! I keep on with as we all do, praying my daily prayers and I pray, ask for a spiritual communion. I can’t tell my family, I am the supposed rock for the Faith among my loved ones.

Jackie...and everyone worried about their soul and entering heaven....please remember the promise of praying the Divine Mercy....and just remember His mercy. Regular confessions ought to give you confidence in the shape of your soul and great graces.

This is a feeling many of us must be having. Another line of attack God is permitting for our purification I suspect. Here is a prayer I repeat when in the midst of these thoughts and feelings: Sacred Heart of Jesus I believe in Your love for me and in Your mercy which is greater than all the sins I have committed or ever could commit."

    Oh Beth B, thank you.
Reminding me of His mercy. I’ve been thinking and feeling personally such negative. And thanks, concerns the same. I thought of posting this and now I shall. Curious about one thing for years, who would say no to God at or after the Warning? Only the Blessed Trinity can show you your life in review. This is a divine for everyone! A random find yesterday, Susan Skinner gave an answer on her blog.

“It may seem impossible that anyone would reject His mercy, but after this experience I know some souls will reject it as a lie because they will not be able to accept how sinful their own actions were. And either through shame and despair, or pride and envy, they will reject him.”

AED, it has been terrible. I have this awful anxious feeling most of the day and going to sleep at night.
Maybe, ha. Gosh, keeping track, I have been praying more because I joined others doing the 45 day Novena to keep Communism from America.

Appreciate, thank you for your prayer. Putting it in phone Notes.

If you've been praying the novena I'm not surprised you are being attacked. Spiritual blowback to me is always a clue that I am "over the target." It's such a subtle miserable frightening attack because it does not seem to come from without but from Within ourselves. It is shattering. You can also pray this as per Fr Ripperger: In Jesus Name I bind every spirit not of the Holy Spirit around me and I send you to the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ for Him to deal with you as He wishes."
Dont forget too that you are contending fof the soul of your brother. That stirs up things. Another quick prayer to repeat: Jesus hide me in Your Holy Wounds!"
And call on your Guardian Angel. You may already be doing that but he is your best friend in this fight next to Jesus Mary and Joseph. God bless.

Also get Father Ripperger's book Deliverance Prayers for use by the Laity. Lots of excellent protection prayers for yourself and your family. I think you can get it from amazon.

    Jackie,

I’ve read this DM link...it was very good!

At confessions recently, when I asked the priest about my worthiness to receive the Blessed Sacrament, he said that if you question your worthiness, you are most likely worthy....it is those who do not question the state of their soul that maybe should. If this same logic applies to your concerns, I’m betting that you are trying very hard to be worthy....and most probably worried needlessly. Probably most of us will only enter into the kingdom of God via His Mercy! And He desires that we ask and accept it! You are....and at the end, you will....or you most probably would not even give it a second thought....but please, put your heart and mind at peace....the Prince of Peace is MERCY itself....most especially for the most unworthy! And we know this because we know our faith.

Thank you AED...but this just came up last week at confessions. It gave me the peace that Jackie is seeking...I know how she feels. I really respect this priest and so I was able to accept his advise. I was bothered as much as Jackie. Possibly because I have a deep feeling as though our world is declining so rapidly and I want to be spiritually prepared to meet Jesus. This is something that we have to get right....our eternity is at stake. No wonder we worry so much......

    Jackie,

Even if it feels mechanical, go to sleep with your beads and pray either the Rosary or the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It will help you doze off; don't feel obligated to finish, but pray with great love and confidence!

    Safe in Mary's Arms!

Although it is hard to do this when in the throes of emotional and psychological pain, try this:
Offer it to God for the salvation of souls and thank Him with your will for the suffering, and call on Our Blessed Mother to intercede for you. Start praising God for any good thing you can think of. Even if it doesn’t lift the anxiety or depression, your offering is then united to Christ’s and you can take a kind of comfort in that. I suffer from intermittent but lifelong depression and this helps me to see some good in it. I hope and trust that it might become a small sharing in His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Interesting that you mention it, Jackie. During the lockdown I was dreading 11pm because around that time a horrible feeling would come over me and I would hope to sleep as soon as possible to avoid it.

Thanks Beth. I bless myself with Holy Water regularly and have been going to confession very often. I also were the Medal. I was talking to someone yesterday who gave me much help before and he said that it is not spiritual in origin, thankfully. It seems to be healing I'm going through, just a matter of going with the flow and rolling with the punches, as difficult and all as they can be.

I can't just pray any devotion at all if I am upset or anxious. I don't force myself to pray at a time like that usually. I have said Holy Rosary but it is not devotional at a time like that, it would be true to say the Rosary helps restore calm. But Jesus is the only One for full healing.

The thoughts I have found very helpful, are remembering Jesus when He said how many times He longed to gather His people (Jerusalem) under His wings like a mother hen, but they would not have it. Well Julia asks Jesus to be that mother hen and mentally think of climbing under Jesus Mighty Wing. It is lovely to think about how soft and warm and safe it is there.

Once I calm down and forget about the baddies (evil) which might want to disturb my peace and tranquillity, I feel safe and at peace again. knowing my Jesus is always there for a cuddle when the going gets tough. His Awesome Majesty and Holiness melts into a loving protecting Father, nothing else can get between He and I, when under His Mighty Wing. Praised be Jesus and Mary.

I recommend this simple little contemplation to restore your joy in the Lord, and then get out the battle beads and off you go again in the trenches of this spiritual war against the powers of darkness.

There is nothing to fear with our God watching over us, not only that but there at our beck and call. We must never cease to thank Him day and night.

    Dear Sanctus,

I believe many are doing their purgatory here on earth. So many sufferings coming from so many sources. Only Gods Grace helps us roll with the punches. We may just have to live through them, but Gods Grace does get us through. Thank God we have the hope of heaven. I really pity those who do not know God and have no real faith...and most especially those who reject God.

Y’all’s comments, advise and the likes, oh thank you. They’re very touching. Like a little piece of you know where. One remedy (for it works), when you are hit, feeling less faithful, come here to MOG.

Shall I whine now? No we shouldn’t. I’ve shared, my dear liberal loved ones, that would be all of them, surround me. Twenty one years now but somehow it’s been harder lately. Thank you so much for your love and wisdom.

We are being attacked with full barrels, repeat rounds, 24/7. The goal seems to be an erosion of our precious faith, and that we lose sight of what the bigger picture is.
When I consider how rare it is to have the gift of faith through the Holy Catholic Church, I marvel. I feel like the lone one in a crowd. We are so fortunate to still persist in our faith in Him, and this is only because of His mercy, definitely not any merit on our part! When I remember that, in spite of my sinfulness and weakness, it heartens me. His Sacred ❤️, and Our Lady’s watchful care.
