I have been swearing off politics, but just now got notice from a friend of Pres. Trump again bringing up no kneeling for the national anthem. At this time. Today. George Floyd died because of a policeman kneeling on his neck. I am flabberghasted. Never been a fan, and he's sometimes said stuff which , but this is the final straw with me. While I hope it doesn't happen, if every good cop in the USA were to turn in their badges right now, I couldn't blame them. Now back to praying. God help us, truly.

A nephew, aged 24, resides in Minneapolis. So far he's been safe. And I've just now received this message: A veto-proof majority of Minneapolis City Council members will announce today their commitment to disbanding the city’s embattled police department following the killing of George Floyd.
They are literally shooting themselves in the foot. What the heck. So, anarchy rules???? No police no protection. What are the gun laws like in MN? Because everyone is going to need one there soon. Yikes.

I don't know how many neighbors know the latter about him, but he runs a double risk if he's been "out and proud." Of course young Black men (-everyone!-) will also be endangered; I'm mostly concerned about "retribution." If a person seeking "retribution" also knows he's gay, this could get very ugly - or worse.
