I hear from Josie about once a month. Its been a hard year for her and her family in many ways. She had to find part time work and is doing ok. Her eldest daughter, Elise will be married to Zac in November, God willing.
Joe, I didn't and still don't understand your last email to me? To be frank...It hurt. and I miss our conversations! I love and pray for you, Luke and Luke's family and I always will, please continue to pray for me and my intentions Maybe I have said something about the Holy Father that you are upset with.? I want you to know; that I pray for our Holy Father's "Holy intentions" every day! and I pray that Our Holy Father, Pope Francis "the Vicar of Christ" be given the grace to align all he says and does to the teachings of Our Holy Catholic faith! If Pope Francis does the above; it would give the clarifications necessary, that Cardinal Burke and 3 other Cardinals have been waiting for, for well over 2 years! it would give a fortification to many Holy Cardinals and Bishops of Our Church, including Cardinal Schiender and Arch Bishop Vigano and this would alleviate the questions that many faithful Catholics have. Oh How simple this would be! It would fortify the faithful and encouraged the remnant faithful which includes you and me, in edification!; We are to live our holy Catholic faith in this decadent world and we look to Our Spiritual Father, the Supreme Pontiff to affirm us in our faith in Our Lord Jesus' unchanging truths!. ( As a By the way; the latest statistic regarding ' Catholic Church attendance on Sunday' before corona virus!, was that only 20% of Catholics attend mass on Sundays). This is abysmal! Many things are apparently wrong, the church needs to evangelise to save souls ! Do you or anyone else believe this statistic will get better after the corona virus scare is gone! I know I yearn for my Holy Fathers exaltation of truth!, so that many souls, may turn to the truth, I pray that He will condemn evil, so that the young will follow the truth of Of Our Lady of Fatima, Garabandal and Akita, but alas these truths have been and continue to be covered, hidden and obscured! I believe all Catholics yearn for Our Holy Fathers clarification on all issues. We need clarification on the apparent changes to Catholic doctrine in His Amoris laetitia encyclical , as well as the apparent acceptance of a hence forth heretical view of abortion and contraception in regards to the Zika virus, we need a plausible explanation to the worship of a pagan idol in the gardens of St peters as well as acceptance of the idol to the altar of St Peters basilica (St Mary major),we need an explanation of the apparent acceptance of homosexual unions and acceptance that all religions offer the same redemption to the Catholic faith, etc I pray Pope Francis will give an explanation of all of the above, to all concerned; I know that as a parent, I would want to clarify any misconceptions to my children who had questions regards changes to my will or to any changes to the truths I had given them over the years! So my question to you Joe is.... Where do you disagree with me in the above? My Love and prayers always and I ask that the Lord to continue to bless and protect you always. Carolyn

Thank you Joe for answering my post and for your updates regards Luke's family. They are much appreciated! Please forgive my posts of the 2nd November 2020, specifically number 59 and 60 of the thread "Is the church in Crisis?". Innocently, I was hoping to alert (many in todays culture) to the grievous offence that sodomy is. I was not wanting to besmirch another, nor to assassinate anyone's character.
