It's only a passing remark and nothing to do with religion or Spirituality. I take a lot of interest in American politics, for it is so interesting at the moment. But I was just reading some media posts from the USA today. I know media all over the world are biased one way of another, to the Left or Right all over the World. I know they are here, the BBC here is atrocious for instance. But I have never in my life seen such in your face bias as to what is going on in Texas at the moment in the US media. They are supposed to be giving impartial, neutral reporting as News outlets. I know this would be too much to expect anywhere in the world. But the , 'Reporting', I saw was jaw dropping. It was just totally one political diatribe and muck slinging of the very worst sort. Incredible. Talk about political lobbyists dressed up as journalists. They don't even try to pretend. No wonder so many Americans get angry.
It's so bad. You really have to look to alternative sources for the truth, the media it not to be trusted.
I've never understood why people think the media is objective. Evil has never had a stronger tool in history than the media. Otherwise, 99% of the media is owned by multinational companies, which are again controlled by a very small number of people. There is a saying, what cannons are in war, media are in peace. Perhaps everything was best described by the Russian winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, otherwise a great Catholic who also went through labor camps in Siberia in the USSR.
Mario, perhaps you should change your term 'recapturing'. It is Biden who captured the presidency. Trump will be taking it back to his person to whom it rightfully and justfully belongs. The divisions in the United States are crystallising very rapidly. Thankfully, the linkage between 'God and guns' is broadly true.
