I will be seeing the neurologist tomorrow. My Dr.told me he will want an MRI and refer me to a neurosurgeon. Right now they are in information gathering mode. My Dr. told me what I have is very rare, only 1% of the population gets it. It's genetic, usually shows up in your 30 to 50's. Nothing you can do to prevent it or stop it. I saw the picture from the CT scan,it's very large, a couple inches in the middle of my brain. So this will be a challenge for the surgeon. I will know more after the MRI and seeing the surgeon. Thank you so much for remembering me at Mass. I have so many people praying for me it has given me peace. I will be offering it up as redemptive suffering. God Bless You.
Katfalls, I'm praying for you too. The first person that I thought of when you posted about your illness was Scott Hamilton, the figure skater. I realize that you probably have a totally different type of tumor than those that he had but I love listening to him because he has such a positive attitude. I believe that your faith will sustain you through this and the community here will continue to lift you up in prayer.
Thankyou for the update. I am so glad you are surrounded by prayer.it makes such a difference. You are in my prayers now every day. Please keep letting us know.
oh Katfalls...you have a challenge ahead. Unlike others, you have a strong faith....and you are offering it up as redemption suffering. Not one ounce of this will go unused....you might be saving a soul Katfalls. You will spiritually feel the prayers of others...they will get you through the rough patches. please update us and count on my prayers....God chose you as His special soul for the redemption of another soul, God bless you and His holy Mother and angels surround you through it all!
Prayers for you Katfalls! I am glad that you are feeling some peace right now. May God surround you with angels, bring you additional strength, and flood you with His love and graces during this trial.
It’s a peanut in the middle of your brain . They have no idea how or why. My aunt is 86...they found it on her when she was 75. It never grew and it stays there. They asked all sorts of questions and make her come in often because they were using her as a study. On a good note...your not alone. It has not affected her life in anyway. Hopefully it is the same in your case. May God Bless you and your family Brother al
Continued prayers. I have lit a 7 day candle at the St. Antony Oratory for you and all member's intentions to be remembered in Masses and prayers. St. Anthony Pray for Us - Light a 7 Day Candle to Saint Anthony | Virtual Oratory
Thank you all for your prayers. I saw the neurologist. He wants several MRI's done, but can't get them until Nov. 9. My ins. Has to approve it. Then I see him the 13th. I saw a picture of the brain cyst, it's very large, a couple inches in the deep brain. I am not sure he is thinking surgery, he thinks my spinal fluid is off because of the thunderclap headaches when I cough. Otherwise the headaches vary in intensity. Yesterday I slept most of the day, so will see how it goes. So will wait and see what the tests reveal. Tylenol and benedryl are helping. And the prayers, thank you, I can feel all of them.
Dear Katfalls, I just learned of your condition, I too will add you to my daily prayers. May the Lord give you strength and calmness to face what is before you, and that He will heal you of your brain cyst. Blessings
Praying for you Katfalls. May Our Lord and Our Lady take special care to watch over you physically and spiritually during this difficult time.
