Yes. my prayer too. May God richly bless your "boots on the ground" charity. Wow. So touched by this. I pray your little boy is consoled and delivered from his suffering. Who knows. Maybe his suffering is keeping the world from blowing up. We just dont know the power of innocence offered up in suffering love. God bless you Francine. Just really--God bless you --and so abundantly you will not be able to hold it all.

The abominations in Rome are more likely to cause migraines...not headaches! But offering it up regardless has extreme merit!

yes...I believe that abortion is at the root of the misery in our world and church today.
I’m sorry if I sound judgmental, but the silence from the hierarchy, priest and the pulpits was/is deafening.

I’ve worked in prolife my entire adult life, and it’s been a struggle getting their cooperation, assistance or support for just about everything. Exceptions were far and few between. They should have been leading the charge to defend life, yet in most instances, they actually thwarted our efforts to advance the prolife message. God help them....they may be looking at the carnage of these poor aborted babies for a long time in the next life...from wherever they are....

If it was legal to kill clerics because someone felt that they were a “inconvenience”, I’d betcha they’d be screaming from the pulpits to end that!

A persons view on abortion is a real and easy to read barometer for the state of their soul.

Another thought entered my mind just now is how many long time mother of God forum members are around these days, must be another barometer as to how spiritual we need to be right now. I hope more come back. Plus some great new members.

It's a privilege, Francine, to share this little corner of cyberspace with you. I don't have words to ease the suffering you and your precious son are going through but I will pray a Rosary for you.

My current home altar has a statue of Our Lady of Hope on it, (https://www.zieglers.com/our-lady-o...3612/religious-articles/statues/mary-statues/) I've placed it between to angel statues to resemble the Ark of the Covenant. Once I've moved into my new place, I'm going light a candle in front the statue to add to the prayers and acts of reparation that are being offered up for these abominations. The other day while we were out shopping for supples for my new place, I saw some beeswax candles made in the shape of roses, so I'm going to have one of those burning before my statue.

Also, I've decided I'm going to buy another statue of Our Lady of Hope, as well as another rose-shaped beeswax candle, and mail them to our Holy Father as a Christmas gift. I won't say anything other than a simple Christmas greeting; just the statue, the candle and Christmas card and hopes and prayers for our Holy Father's wellbeing.

Well I ended up in the ER Saturday night . . .bad headaches. I thought it was a sinus infection and told the doc to just give me a shot of penicillin and I'll be on my way. They did a CT scan and it turns out I have a brain tumor. Yikes. It's not cancer but very serious. So off to my regular doc tomorrow, my neurologist on thurs and find a neurosurgeon. I don't know if I could survive brain surgery, I am 70. But will accept what God gives me. Prayers are welcome.

I will certainly pray for you. I am still recovering myself after a difficult year with my health. Prayer brought me through everything I found the Surrender Novena very helpful when I felt stressed.

Katfalls, I am so sad to hear this. I am glad it is not cancer. Please keep us posted. I will be praying for the Lord to bring you through this. They do such good surgeries now. God is with you all the way.

My 'like' is in sympathy, not meant to be frivolous. Surgery is incredible nowadays and 70 isn't that old these days. I'll remember you in my ever-lengthening prayer list.

Among my intentions with each rosary decade is for all in my circle who are sick and those helping care for them. My circle includes ALL on this forum.
