According to some sources, the warning will take place near the end of the Year of Mercy.

As Jesus said to St. Faustina, Before I come as a just Judge , I first open wide the doors of My mercy . “He who refuses to pass through the door of My Mercy must pass through the door of My Justice"

More clear is impossible. The doors of Mercy are open now.

I think it is highly probable the warning comes before the year of mercy ends, as the warning will be the climax of God's great mercy. No generation has had or will have so great of love and mercy as the moment of God revealing to all mankind at the same moment his love for all and his desire for all to repent and love the Love. Can anyone compare this moment soon coming to anything else? Every other person who ever lived has not been given this grace until it was to late on judgement day (accept a few who have been given this grace in 'after death experience). Antonio Yague in his sacred astronomy thread on MOG gave a date of November 13, 2016 for the great Warning
to occur. This is one week before the end of the year of mercy. He gave this date in early 2015 I believe.

    Interview with father Amorth

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/exclusive-interview-with-rome-chief-exorcist-fr.-gabriele-amorth

"LifeSite: Our Lady had foretold at Fatima the blood of martyrs, if penance were not done. The blood of the martyrs has begun to flow copiously: how long will it be before God sends His punishment?

Fr. Amorth: "Look, today there are more martyrs than during the first centuries of Christianity. Just think of the Middle East, where so many Christians are killed simply because they are Christian. There is a huge amount of martyrs! But let us not forget what our Lady said: "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will be converted and the world will be granted a period of peace "... Soon we will have great happenings."

    LifeSite: When?

Fr. Amorth: "It is hard to give details of what you do not live. I'm not a prophet. At one time, Israel pulled away from God to embrace idolatry. Prophets were treated very badly. Finally God punished. Today the world does not turn from God because it is idolatrous; rather it pursues pure atheism, so as to put science on the altar. But science does not create; it only discovers that which God has made. In turning away from the Lord, its breakthroughs are put to disastrous use. Without the Lord, progress too is misused. We see it in laws that go totally against nature such as divorce, abortion, 'gay marriage' ... we have forgotten God! Therefore, God will soon admonish humanity in a very powerful manner, He knows how to remind us of His presence.”

LifeSite: There are rumors that you had recently indicated a period of eight months, maybe less ... But, as I understand it, there is not a precise time…
Fr. Amorth: "I think it is early. I think we are close. More and more so. The Lord will make Himself heard, and the world will respond
. I look at all this with optimism, because God always acts for us to obtain a greater good than the punishments inflicted, which are meant to open the eyes of humanity, which has forgotten and abandoned him. I always remember the rhyme of Metastasio: "Wherever I look, / immense God, I see: /in Your works I admire you, / I recognize You in myself." We should always seek the Lord, we can not forget the origin, the First Cause, as unfortunately happens today ... I was with Padre Pio for 26 years and remember how furious he was about the invention of television: "You will see what it will do!" he said. It has also allowed good things. But I'm very much in the midst of people and see how many people have been ruined by television and the Internet. "

I am not going to wade into the debate about the accuracy of what was said, or how literal or figurative to interpret these statements but the girls at Garabandal gave us some Pre-Warning signs. We know that "things will be at their worst" but they gave us some more specific signs:

    1. Synod before The Warning
According to Mother Nieves García (an eyewitness to the Garabandal apparitions and school teacher of Conchita) an important synod will occur shortly before The Warning. Mother Nieves Garcia obtained this information during one of the apparitions to Conchita. She tells her story in this youtube video:

    2. Something Like a Schism
From "Garabandal: The Village Speaks." Pages 350-351 (page 169 in pdf format)
"The Warning will be brought about after The Church has been cruelly torn by "something like a schism."

Obviously there was great disagreement at the recent synod. The Pope has yet to publish his Apostolic Exhortation. According to one article I read the Pope could release his Apostolic Exhortation sometime between now and March.

    3. An Even numbered Year
In the book Suddenly and Unexpectedly (by T. Michael Fay) it is asserted on page 86 that Mari Loli (one of the four girls of Garabandal) told some persons that the year of the Warning will be an even numbered year.

4.The Pope will go to Moscow

Albrecht Weber's book (The Finger of God ) contains this statement attributed to Conchita: "The Pope will go to Russia, to Moscow. As soon as he returns to the Vatican, hostilities will break out in different parts of Europe." [The source for this information was also requested. Mr. Weber responded: "Conchita said this in a long conversation at her house on November 14,1965."] (A reference to this point also appears in the book Suddenly and Unexpectedly by T. Michael Fay on page 47

We must be careful because there is a lot of "noise" around Garabandal, that only confuses everything.
I saw a video of Conchita brother Serafin. He emphasizes that never said anything similar . He says the allusion to a schism is an unjustified interpretation of the book's author.

Not sure if this thread was ever started but here are the Holy Doors I went through Saturday at Our Lady of Mercy in Deerfield Beach, Fl., part of the Miami Diocese.

The Year of Mercy ends next month. Does anyone know what the theme of advent 2016 will be?

    God Bless!

Ok so I'm little concerned that I can't find ANY mention of next year's theme anywhere online. There's only a few weeks left of the official Jubilee of Mercy (the doors here in U.S. close November 13) and the absence of any mention of what the next theme is I find highly suspicious o_O

Bernadette mentioned that next year's theme was Grace. I don't know where that information came from though.

Do you know where you found that the Year of Mercy ends on the 13th in the U.S.?
I thought it was on the 8th all around the world and on the 20th in Rome.

I hope she can post the link, because the only thing I can find on a year of grace was in 2012-2013. Here's a link to the Diocese of Grand Rapids, Michigan USA that talks about them closing their door Nov 13.

Is there always a theme for every year? I find that a bit exhausting... I always start off with great intentions and then fail miserably to live out the theme.

I think it's that the Holy Doors close on the 13th around the world but that might be up to the individual bishops. But the Year of Mercy doesn't end until the 20th, even if the doors apart from Rome are closed.

I would like to know if it's a regular thing too (to have a specific theme every year). I was hoping a Google search would turn up a list of some sort, but I can't find any. I recall however recently a year of vocations, a year for priests, maybe one for families? In my mind there has been one every year maybe for the last decade? Im not sure. I like the themes in general, they bring attention to things that can be thought of for a while. I'm highly suspicious though of a theme for next year being something along the lines of ecumenism because of the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther.

The Year of Mercy ends on Nov. 20, the Solemnity of Christ the King. The Year ran Dec. 8 2015 - Nov. 20 2016, beginning with Mary (Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception) and ending with Christ (Christ the King).
The Vatican closes its Holy Door on Nov. 20 to mark the end of the Year.
All other churches are supposed to close their Holy Doors on Nov. 13, so that the Vatican is the last one.
There is not a special Year every year, although we have had many recently:

    Year of Mercy (2015-2016)
Year of Consecrated Life (2014-2016--yes, apparently there was overlap)
    Year of Faith (2012-2013)
    Year for Priests (2009-2010)
    Year of St. Paul (2008-2009)
    Year of the Rosary (2002-2003)
    Marian Year (1987-1988)
    Marian Year (1954)

I'm sure I missed many. These are the only ones I've heard of. As far as I know Pope Francis has not announced one for next year.

I don't know where I read it but it seems that that next one is the year of grace. Did anyone else see that?
