I think we have all been tested with this papacy, and with the disappointing behavior of many clergy. The temptation to criticize often gets the best of us. True, our greatest task is to pray for the Holy Father, and for our priests.

Like so many pundits, I came across this person’s blog and his theory on what is going in here. It is certainly a complex one…. Maybe even overly complex…. No doubt the “US” did this but as he points out the factions are now not confined with geographic boundaries… it’s ideology.

This is all above my “pay grade” in many ways…. But the miss here imo is I see no direct consideration of good/evil and prophecy of Revelation. If I recall correctly, at some point in the past, some prophecies talked that the EU - the institution- not individual countries was the Beast. This article taken in that context becomes more potentially true. I honest don’t know… such confusion. But, in end , does it matter all that much? It appears the world is quickly spiraling to a huge disaster that will cause much death , destruction, and imo is being orchestrated by the evil one as prophesized. We are living in truly Biblical times….. God is very present and He will act, but we need to stay focused ourselves. We will be going through the passion as Christ did… for me personally I feel it’s the night before…. Agony in garden…. Please Father take this cup away from all of us….. but let your will be done. Give me the courage and grace to do your will and to carry my cross. Praying he sends me Simons of Cyrene and Veronica’s. And most of all, my Most Blessed and Holy Mother Mary to comfort and strengthen me

Beautifully said Miker. I got that blog post too, could not read it, my eyes actually went blurry! It's too much to figure out who is lying, who is telling the truth. I see in-fighting happening openly now among some of our "heroes" leading the fight against tyranny and it's so sad to witness, everyone is suspicious of the motives of others and calling out suspicious behaviors. Seems we can't trust men, and have to focus on Christ, look at Him, rest on His Heart and confide our sins to His Mercy through His Passion and Wounds. It's not easy with all these rumors of wars.

I will say however what concerns me about the current state of things: if the press is suggesting that Russia could resort to using nukes, then it follows that there is a plan to use them. Kind of like announcing a pandemic or power outage. I remember seeing a report on a strike in Yemen a few years ago and some were questioning if nukes had been used in some instances. I don't know what became of the debate, but if cities are nuked, how could we know who pushed the launch button? But we know that the press is capable of printing anything, saying that XYZ did it and use that to justify future actions...

Let's not forget what Our Lady said about the power of praying and fasting on war.

All this reminds me of the speculative question, "Who dun it?!" What is true is that a whole lot of suffering is taking place and will take place. The situation in Florida is horrific because of the tremendous damage done, not only on the Gulf coast but also in the agricultural center. And the homeowners' insurance policies are threatening to collapse due to insolvency. And no matter who is to blame for chaos in the Euro-sphere the fact remains: Europeans will freeze this winter. Suffering for the "little ones" while the in-fighting takes place between governments and powers. And the war in Ukraine will spread.

We must be prayer warriors and generous with our wallets at the same time. Prayers against devilish powers and compassion for the hurting.
