Sorry Padraig. Our Lady was fully married when the angel visited Her, She just had not come to live with her husband St Joseph. Put it another way She was not unmarried mother.
To be betrothed is to have fully exchanged marriage vows.

 

Yes I agree. Our Lady would never have been asked by God to dishonour marriage. I guess the point is that she had to wait until God sent an angel to Joseph to explain to him that the conception of Jesus was a miracelous event.
She suffered in that she saw Joseph struggling but she could not explain herself. She had faith and waited for God to reveal everything to Joseph.

We have been assured on this forum that nothing is as it appears on the news. If we assume this to be true, we have every reason to doubt any 'overwhelming' evidence that has found its way into the mainstream. Biden threatening the pipeline will (believe it or not) have been noticed by the Russians and is the perfect 'get out' for the FSB . The Russians want the money for the gas but, at the same time, want western Europe to freeze. 'It wasn't us, Biden publicly threatened to do so - so it must be him, oh and here's the invoice for the gas you didn't get'. Come on, let's be creative here. Another question: Why would anyone attack a pipeline where it runs undersea at great cost when it is easily accessible above ground where it can be easily interrupted? This was just Biden being stupid - again and handing a coup to others.

I used to criticize him way too much. I went to confession a lot for it too. Finally I realized that my task is to pray for him. Pray for all clergy actually. I read someplace that we should pray for every priest, bishop or nun we meet, because behind each one of them is most likely a demon trying to influence them or get them to fall.
