The FP could very well be a recognized prelate of the Church, already apostatized in mind and spirit, willing and wanting a place of honor within the NW "religion" and within the plans of the AC be used to give "street cred" to those who would only be comfortable with someone representing the historical church from the time of Christ. The AC could say....."look, even such a credited religious representative of the 'old order', that order now proven false (through the schism), has found the truth and is worthy to assist you in the new order". And such a FP would be able to take those priests who are more of the material world already into this new "fold".

 

I have always wondered how much of Palm Sunday might have been due to "crowd mentality" or was the crowd jeering "crucify him" also "crowd mentality"? Could it be Palm Sunday is the Warning? Certainly Christ's Passion could be our persecution after the initial period of global conversion with the AC making himself known. Hmm, the current apostasy and difficulties with non-Catholics and atheists is likened to all the discontent Jesus and his apostles faced leading up to the Passion by the Sanhedrin and all those who viewed them as a rebellious crowd challenging the status quo of Cesar's rule (secular society). My understanding of the Era of Peace is after the Chastisement, after evil is for a time wiped off the earth; occurring during winter, after which will also be a new springlike atmosphere. We're still within the Era of Mercy, approaching the Warning with ever heightened anticipation. My understand of the time of the AC is before the Chastisement. I could certainly be off on that.

I haven't viewed our times in these terms of Holy Week before. I haven't come across this relationship. Perhaps i simply have not make the connection though it be in the readings! While I have been fascinated by End Times prophesies, I only learned of St Faustina etc. in the last couple years and Medjugorje in the last 5 years. I didn't have these future events to compare and relate to Holy Week. Most who attend my previous Bible Study am sure don't know of these things either. I have done a lot of group bible study and some spiritual direction. It definitely calls for contemplation and further study. Soo many parallels!

Please tell me if this comparison is found in Revelations or another book. I have another friend who will be interested. She's been listening to me, wondering about Catholic or biblical support. Feel free to pm me.

The problems in the Church hierarchy seem to be in the Book of Revelation. It was the Lord who commanded Moses on how the priestly vestments should be made
Firstly let us review what the Lord told Moses about the vestments for priests in the book of Exodus chapter 39 verses 1-5. I have bolded the colors violet, purple and scarlet.

The Priestly Vestments. a for Aaron, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

The Great Prostitute and the Beast

Purple and scarlet clearly have a great significance. I will leave it to any reader to discern. Also a strange thing happened when I tried to copy and paste Revelation Chap 17 verse 4 to this post from the USCCB New American Bible website: http://usccb.org/bible/revelation/17. Verse 4 didn't paste. It seems like it was selectively deleted from being able to be copied and pasted. How utterly strange. The other surrounding verses copy and paste. Would someone else try it?

 

I agree that Revelation seems to speak of a great Apostacy and is spiritual. I have friends and family obsessed with the modern day State of Israel, but "Jerusalem as Church" makes more sense.

 

I have heard that the USCCB has some serious, serious spiritual problems. I just kind of stay away from their website these days.

Could this "wine of harlotry" be socialism? That would be very fitting of "abominations of the earth"; that which is viewed more and more acceptable. OK, I was not thinking about a color association. This cryptic portion is always surrounded by speculation yet seems so clear when considering our society and Church crisis!

Now I ask you, how to look past and love family members in "alternative" committed relationships that have lasted longer then many marriages? My take has always been, it's my job to love them and their partners, God's job to judge. They are the ones who will have that conversation with their Creator later. No doubt they had such conversations when they accepted their otherwise natural attraction.

 

I have two people in my family as well that are sodomites. I love them both, one of them was my closest friend all growing up until in our early teens she was raped by her mothers boyfriend and chose the path of hatred leaving me in the dust for years like I never existed. I refuse to look past it and pretend that it is all OK. Nobody in these so called relationships are capable of love IMO. They are narcissists who are full of spite, hatred and envy who refuse God's plan, shove it in our faces and demand that we bow down and worship their God.
Make no mistake, we can love them by telling them the truth in charity, but as for them loving anyone but themselves? I don't think so. In fact, if you get to be close with them and they allow you to see what goes on when they are not upholding the facade to manipulate their families and straight friends I think most people would understand that the only person they pretend to love is themselves and even that one would come to find is false. Secretly, they despise themselves and if you love them, they despise YOU as well and will punish you for it.

I know this sounds horrific and sadly it is. I dearly wish that there were some way to help them but in years of trying I found that it was simply futile outside of prayer for them and simply telling them the same truth I live by, has healed me, brought true Joy in the midst of suffering to my heart and the Church has handed down to us. I believe it takes a pretty big miracle to bring one person back from the brink of this kind of narcissistic self loathing and hatred of God.

My sodomite cousin, was in an accident that left her in ICU for over a month and in the hospital for almost 5. She had several surgeries to save her life that involved piecing her back together and not once while teetering on the precipice of death found a sliver of repentance for her sins. In fact, she has never repented of anything. The only thing this can be IMO is diabolic.

 

It's interesting that review of the passion of Jesus. Is the Church already there? Or in Jesus' youth, as our Lady of emmitsburg says?
If we are heading towards the lesser tribulation i.e. the chastisement, it seems we are not in the final era yet.

I know there are pros and cons for both theories.

I always wondered why La Salette prophecy didn't end with the second coming of Jesus to defeat the Antichrist. Maybe because that one is not the final Antichrist?

Jesus himself doesn't speak of one Antichrist or false prophet, but of many.

So I'm puzzled I don't have the answer and search for clues.

Where is the manchild, where are the 144000? Both should come before the antichrist. If all that is symbolic, or real but invisible, could it mean the same to be true symbolic/ invisible for the Antichrist? And if we cannot accept it to be so, why are we supposed to accept the 144000 will just walk the earth unrecognizable and will be sealed by angels in a manner no one of the rest billions to ever see and witness the prophecy to happen? In that way, we can say every prophecy already happened symbolically and invisibly. And I really don't know which view is more correct.
