Even Mother Angelica asked that question. I remember it well because I was wondering too.

…Mother surely knows the answers now. It’s been, what, 20 years since her second stroke? Part of me always still hopes she’ll recover and come back to do more shows ( I do know she passed). Can you imagine the dismay she’d be expressing about how much worse things have gotten in just the past 20 years?
I’ve been watching her reruns, lately, and I swear, whether it’s a rerun from 1995, ‘92 or ‘99, every time I tune in I swear she’s directing certain similar comments to me!( just re read this, and I should clarify that by “ similar comments”, I don’t mean the in purgatory until the end of time, one, but just certain comments mother made in 3 successive days that were all reruns from different years, and all had to do with employment or lack there of, which has to do with me).

As far as I recall this girl has been indentified and was not quite child but a young teen with all that that implies.

    Girls will be girls

I always remember our Lady telling little innocent Francesco of Fatima that he would only get to heaven after he had said many rosaries.

Sobering thought. If someone that young and innocent needed much prayer what is expected of me as I allowed sin into my life which took decades to conquer?

    Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Our Lady said at Fatima that impurity is the sin that drags most souls down to hell. Although she did not say that impurity is the worst sin. Personally I would take it that the very worst sin is that of pride, most especially Spiritual Pride, the sin of Satan himself and the Fallen angels. The great danger with pride is that it closes doors to the working of the Holy Spirit in the we don;t regard his coming as necessary. Impurity, on the other hand can be very, very humbling indeed, most especially if it is coupled with addictive behaviours. It brings us with a bump right back down to Earth. Never altogether a bad thing. The problem with pride is that there never, ever is a bump back to Earth.

I remember reading an account from a priest here in Ireland who Ministered to a group of ladies who were former Prostitutes and had had radical conversions and came to Christ. He said it was wonderful to talk to them because they had no illusions about themselves. They were in a sense clear as spring water.

No airs or graces, no pretense, straight as a die.

I think to be in sin and leading a sinful life is one thing. But to be in sin and trying hard to overcome it is quite another. As St Paul reminds us all have sinned and all have Fallen far short of the Glory of God.

Hopefully as we get a little older in the Spiritual Life we do get greater purity of vision and can see ourselves and others a little more clearly. I have found in my own life that this actually causes me to get the impression I am moving rapidly backwards in the Spiritual Life rather than forward. I can see whole areas of darkness in my life that I never ever noticed before, to my great dismay.

However one thing about being a very great sinner is that I simply have to do what I have always done; throw myself totally on the Mercy of God rather than relying on His Justice. I knew that right from the very beginning of my conversion and nothing has ever changed in this.

Jesus said of Mary Magdalen that because she had been forgiven much she loved much. St Paul reminds us in Romans that for those who love God all things work together for our good.

All things, even our sins. Such a comfort for very, very great sinners. Much forgiven; much more to love for.

I know I am a great sinner, but I also know I have a Great Saviour.

St Mary Magdalen, pray for us.

I second this. If my memory serves me, this girl from Aljustrel was in her late teens.

The Mystics teach us that those at the very bottom of Purgatory have more nor less escaped Hell by the very skin of their teeth.

It was not only at Fatima we hear about souls who have to endure Purgatory until the end to the world (in other words until the place shuts down) . In fact it is quite a regular theme. For instance one of the nuns who tortured St Margaret Mary Aloque, the Sacred Heart informed her, will be in Purgatory until the end of time.

May God have mercy on her poor soul. I know we can't get her out but we can ease the pain. Must remember to offer up Mass tomorrow.

Poor Holy Soul..and she is Holy. She will get to heaven eventually, thank God for His Mercy.

Speaking of the Holy Souls, it will soon be November. The conditions for obtaining a Plenary Indulgence for a soul are fairly easy to perform and are available from All Souls Day, Nov 2 to Nov 8 (this was extended in recent years to the whole of November to prevent people spreading the virus by collecting in large numbers in churches and cemeteries over a few days - this has not been extended to this year as far as I know). They needn't have worried about too many people seeking the indulgence in my locality. Last year, I went to the local church cemetery on most days in November but only once did I meet anyone else there for the same purpose!

    Anyway, here goes:

Steps to Obtain a Plenary Indulgence for Souls in Purgatory this November:
    1) Pray at a Cemetery

The 2020 decree asks the faithful to “visit a cemetery and pray for the deceased, even if only mentally.” Some suggested prayers include the Prayer of St. Gertrude or the Eternal Rest prayer.

    2) Go to Confession & Receive Holy Communion
In order for one to obtain a plenary indulgence, whether it be for the poor souls or for oneself, the person must detach oneself from all sin. If the soul is not detached, a partial indulgence will be applied.

However, for the sick, elderly, homebound, or those who cannot go out due to coronavirus restrictions, they can “unite themselves spiritually to other members of the faithful.”

The decree encourages this prayer “before an image of Jesus or the Blessed Virgin Mary, reciting pious prayers for the deceased, for example, Lauds and Vespers of the Office of the Dead, the Marian Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, other prayers for the deceased dearest to the faithful, or occupy themselves in considered reading of one of the Gospel passages proposed by the liturgy of the deceased, or perform a work of mercy by offering to God the sorrows and hardships of their own lives.”

The individual must also have “the intention of complying as soon as possible,” to the three conditions (sacramental confession, holy communion, and praying for the Holy Father).

    3) Pray for the Pope
The Church suggests that the faithful pray one ‘Our Father’ and one ‘Hail Mary’ for the Holy Father.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. And let the perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I went to cemetery everyday available last November. It seemed like such an awesome opportunity to help out my deceased love ones. I was looking to see if it was extended for this year too and was sorry it was not promulgated again. :)

It's not anything new for those familiar with Fr. Malachi Martin's revelations about the Third Secret, but it's interesting how it echoes Padre Pio's comment about Russia showing the United States a lesson in conversion.

I also heard about this incident in Kazakhstan as being linked to a secret weapon: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/mar/18/kazakhstan-sleeping-village-mystery
not to mention the hundreds of other stories of groups of cattle or other animals all being struck dead by lightning and other strange events. If they have these weapons, why resort to nuclear weapons? Unless perhaps destruction of infrastructure is desired?

We should not stop praying for the conversion of Russia at the top levels during the warning. Many people I talk to recently think that a Russian invasion will save us from our governments in the west, but recently I heard another prophecy from the 19th century about the end times from a French abbot who prophecied many things similar to MJ Jahenny including how the invasion of Russia will be cruel, that they will slaughter everyone and that this would happen after they have taken over northern Africa. Well apparently Russian mercenaries are very present in that part of the world lending truth to this now. Here are a few links, including a news item that French troops pulled out of Mali recently leaving the way for Russian mercenaries. If national troops pull out to leave way for mercenaries, does that not sound like cooperation?

    https://www.newsy-today.com/french-military-leaves-mali-relies-on-russian-mercenaries/
    https://www.usnews.com/news/world/a...ercenaries-are-putins-coercive-tool-in-africa
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...russian-mercenary-presence-sahel-north-africa
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/03/09/mali-russia-wagner/

We can't possibly figure this out because there are so many things going on that we don't know, we have to pray, hope and surrender our worries to the Lord.

interesting is that malachi martin spoke in the interview with art bell in 1998 that revealing the secret could polarize society; I imagined that I could encourage the communist power to make certain military movements as Saint John Paul II warned in Fulda's speech in 1981; but it could also spur some sort of violent reaction from the West against the Russian nation.

But if the secret had been revealed as the Blessed Mother wanted things could be different.

I was listening again and paying a bit more attention to some of Bernard Janzen's tapes with Fr. Malachi Martin, and just noticed another set of clues (which tends to drop sparingly in these interviews) from the Third Secret. In this particular case, it shows how Fatima ties with the revelations from both Garabandal and Akita.

This excerpt is from 1993, and the conversation was regarding the infighting among the various groups within the Catholic Church and the corruption that's spreading everywhere in it and in the world:

As for that last part, remember that for some reason Fr. Malachi Martin thought that (from Garabandal) John Paul II was going to be the last pope before the tribulations started. I don't know why he never learned about the clarification that John Paul I was not being counted and that JPII's successor was going to be the last. But taking that detail into consideration it makes things more clear.
