Welcome Glenn. Many in my family are waking up to living the messages of Garabandal. Many thanks to those of you working with Joey and Conchita. We would not be informed if it weren't for those efforts. -Jon P.S. I live in southeast Wisconsin, but work near Chicago. Therefore, able to spend time most days at Marytown in Libertyville, IL (home of Shrine of Maximillian Kolbe, also perpetual adoration chapel, Conventual Fanciscans). Have witnessed recent increase in fervent prayer before the Eucharist there, long lines on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for confession every week, and standing room only at daily noon mass, which is popular for business people in the busy area. Glad to hear you are a Packer fan! I work in "Bear country" with the "flatlanders", but I am a lifelong Packer fan, and live north of the "Cheese curtain" according to my Illinois, bear fan, coworkers (though I am not alone....there are many Packer fans in my office).
My son worked at "Mercy Home" in Chicago after college as a volunteer . I don't know if you're on facebook, but I have an enormous Packer collection,of very rare stuff, if you ever want to see it. Look me up Glenn Hudson.
Jon, in the 80's and 90's I use to attend Father John Hardon S.J., Mothers Day weekend retreats at St. Robert Bellermine retreat house in Barringington, Ill., just outside Chicago. Beautiful area.
Hi Glenn. Welcome to the forum. I too live in Massapequa, ny. Maybe we can get a cup of coffee one day. I would love to meet Joey or hear him speak. I've been praying that maybe one day I would bump into Joey being that I live on Long island and my work takes me to many towns around here. How wonderful that is that God works in his ways. I'm so excited.
Thanks ! Coffee is possible, meeting Joey is almost impossible unfortunately. His age & health have limited his travel. Even I dont get to see him that much, mostly phone calls. Hope to meet one day. Be well.
Ah, a Long Islander! My roommate in college was from Southhold out on the north fork. Great blue fishing! Welcome! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
