Thank you very much! I've been on this forum for about 6 months, reading it daily, and decided I'd try to join. Everyone seems so holy and informed about our faith. I've been a Catholic all 37 years of my life, and have never heard of Garabandal until recently. I love Our Blessed Mother, and I am awaiting this Warning like the rest on this site. I must tell you, I have never joined a forum, I don't have a facebook and have never been one to spend time in front of a computer. So forgive me, I don't have a clue how this works. I just found this box to reply. Also, I wanted to tell You (padraig) specifically, everything ive read from you on here, you're so kind in all your posts. I think you changed your picture though? I've enjoyed everyone's view on the Warning and the way it is respectfully discussed, and if need be, corrected. Glenn seems to be the "go to guy"! Im so thankful for all of you. Glenn, on your picture by your name, is that a picture of the beautiful Conchita herself!?!? I've wondered that for 6 months!
Padraig, again thank you for taking the time to welcome me with a personal message. I feel like I already know you from reading your posts. I love all of you. Thank you.
    Karen

Welcome Karen. I've been here a few years and yes there are some very holy souls here and then other like me - walking the Way as best we can with a few stumbles but always with the eye on the prize. I find the forum is mostly a place of prayer and hope. I think you will find peace here.

Thank you so very much miker! Holy souls they are indeed. It's a process im sure, and ive recently felt that great need to add a lot of extra prayers and sacrifice into my life. Not only this impending Warning, but other things as well. I am very grateful to the influence and knowledge of the members of this forum. Thank you miker for taking the time to personally welcome me! Really!

Miker, I wasn't implying you weren't just as holy. I've just read a lot of posts from padraig and members who's names are always on every Discussion. I didn't mean "they" as in not you yourself rather "they"as a whole:) im sorry if I have already offended someone.

No worries at all! I am not offended in the least. In fact, the opposite :). I like to think of myself on the journey b/c the second I really think I'm "holy", o man, somebody kick me and push me off if that pedestal. But, I do agree with you that there are many here who I do consider role models in their unity with the Divine Will. As Fallen Saint often reminds us, we are all called to be saints. And I often think saints are the sinners who fell into the arms of God and then got up. Peace. And let's all pray for a truly holy Triduum which begins tomorrow as we contemplate, meditate and participate in what is really the summit of our Faith- the Institutiin of the Eucharist and priesthood, the Passion, death, and finally triumphant Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior.

Lol, "push me off that pedestal"
Me too! Except I haven't even gotten to where I feel holy in the least. I've neglected my faith for far to long now. Thank you for your very kind words.
