Hello everyone! I have been a longtime visitor of the forum for many years now and finally decided to create an account. This is my first time posting on this type of forum so please bear with me as I get the hang of it Love reading all of the discussions and am excited to join this community!
Thank you! I have been a huge fan of Padre Pio for many years and have always felt a close connection to him. When I found out about his devotion to her, I decided to learn more about her and am so glad I did-she’s amazing! The fact that she did so much while so young and so ill is an inspiration to me as I find myself in a similar boat, and her example is comforting to me. I also feel very strongly that she is an excellent example of how women have such an important role in the Church and the saving of souls.
Thanks Don! I missed being a part of a close-knit Catholic community and I am also a writer. However, it was a post by someone on here, I think it was garabandal (though I am not sure, I will try to find it), that talked about how difficult these times are for many people, especially those who are lonely, depressed, anxious, suffering, etc. and that, while things may seem overwhelming, there are many people, like everyone on this forum, who are praying for such souls and not to give up hope. It really struck a chord with me as I am distanced from much of my family and friends during this time, but realized there was nothing stopping me from making new friendships, especially on a forum to which God had already led me.
Welcome Annie, I came across a post from you and thought, what a breath of fresh air. Keep it up.. God bless.
This is a wonderful gathering place. It's like a family to me. Some sadness, joys, even tussles like a family. But it gets worked out . . .and lots of prayer happens here. We need lots of prayer warriors in our world! And I thank you for praying for me with the oncoming storms, so far just breezy. Not a lot of rain. A few days to go . . .
Welcome to MOG Annie! I don't contribute a whole lot, but it feels good to belong to such a solid Catholic *family*. You will receive a lot of support here and prayers whenever you are in need.
Welcome Annie, I hope you become a long time member, this is a great internet home, community and refuge.
Hi Annie, Welcome to the MOG forum. I’ve learned quite a lot from the veteran MOG, very solid Catholics. Hope you do as well. I’m betting you are equally versed in the faith and look forward to your contributions! blessings!
