When I first opened my eyes to the church I thought I was automaticly catholic I didnt know you had to be baptized so one day someone corrected me and told me about the baptism of desire. So yes I have the desire of Baptism. I hope to be baptized soon God bless.

One of the good things of Baptism is that the full punishment for your sins will be remitted, and you will no longer suffer from them in purgatory or in here. It is the equivalent of receiving a plenary Indulgence, not only the Original Sin will be fully pardoned, but the entirety of all your sins. For the rest of us, we may have to pass through purgatory and face the Justice of God to purify our souls before we enter Heaven, even after confession, but for those that got baptized if they don't sin anymore they will go straight to Heaven. After you get baptized try to stay as clean you can, and move to confirmation.
