  1. [[[Roadwork To Begin...Plan Alt. Route]]]

Don’t know whether this was meant for just me, or to be shared for a larger audience, but I’m hoping anyone who reads the title of this thread can glean its spiritual meaning. I’ve been driving past several of these road signs for months. Well, the work began a while back but they’ve never changed out the old message. Now, I’m thinking that’s because it’s still up for another, more important purpose(?) for those with eyes to clearly see it.

Or I’m just a silly person whose trying too hard to make something exist where there really is “nothing to see here”....

Nah. I’ll put myself out there at the risk of not being taken seriously because I do seriously know God spoke to me today. Peace!~AN

Things like that are very important to your state in life. Many times some music will hit me, other times a psalm will leap off the page. I can't help but think our guardian angels are working overtime to get our attention.

God speaks to us in the mundane, everyday things, I'm confident of that.

I had a similar experience several years ago, I kept seeing random signs that said Greenwood. My eye would be literally drawn to them. I felt it was a prompt to meditate on the passage of scripture where the Lord says if they do these things to the green wood, what will they do with the wood that is dry. A reminder I think to stay rooted in prayer, put first the kingdom of God, be fruitful in good works, remain sinless and blameless as much as possible.

Yes AN I firmly believe in those signs think I posted this experience before.. Anyway I was accidentally passing through a town where two supposed prophets lived I chatted with God and said father if I'm meant to stop here and find out more about these prophets let me know.. As I turned into the main street a shop window of a video store had a huge advert banner but one word in the banner was torn and hanging.. The word was IT...

The words of the banner that could be read loud and clear where

    GET OUT NOW..

    I hear you Lord (y)

  7. Quis ut Deus, God moved powerfully and directly with all swiftness to answer your prayer—what a Father we have!

Your comment has prompted me to publicly acknowledge that this morning, Our Lady answered a very personal prayer of the heart I sent up to Her and she did so with such love and tenderness that I felt like I were the only person in the world.

I think it has potentially deep meaning. A simple warning from the road works....but it may be God speaking to you very directly and specifically. Alternate routes of prayer perhaps. I don't know but I don't think you're silly to see meaning in it. That's how the Holy Spirit works sometimes I think.

Totally agree... I am usually quiet on this forum but felt compelled to chime in. Think of how many signs we all see each day... dozens, and hundreds per week. The Holy Spirit moves within us to see that 1 sign over and over again as something more than just roadwork, or a store front window... It's God speaking to us through all our senses.... so powerful and moving!!!

You’re right...the Holy Spirit can chose any means to convey a though or meaning directly to a individual. The power of our God has no limits. To see it in the mundane is not surprising because we can’t put God in a box, and we can feel things especially if we know the Holy Spirit through prayer.
