Hope was writing about sharing some dreams. Maybe some of you would like to share too. Anyway here is one I had during the week. I wasstanding in the most Beautiful cathedral and beside me stood a Cardinal who was kind of inspecting the place. He was in ordinary priest's clothes, a black suit and shirt with the collar, but I knew at once he was a Cardinal. He was young enough I suppose in his late 50's or early sixties, wore old fashioned looking thickish black spectacles, black hair receding a little and I suppose you would say heavily built. He was very, very holy, but bedies this it was clear he was a real leader, he had intense charisma and an inner viison that guided his steps to perfection.A guy who knew exactly were he was going a real leader of men. I even noticed people looking at him as though drawn, but I don't think more than a handful recognised him as a Cardinal as he was visiting. THe cathedral was like a modern gothic but with a beautiful light colured snadstone. Next I saw him visit the Archbishop of the Cathedral. He looked so young to me and very uncertain, I realised the Cardinal was kina laying down the law for him and the Archbishop looked chastened, like a schoolboy. I then saw the scene change and the Cardainl was entering the Vatican and as he did so I saw a line of Swiss Guards drawing themselves up erect respectfull y in his presence.... I must look in google to see if I can find him.
I haven't been graced with many potentially prophetic dreams, so I enjoy reading about dreams from others
He sounds a lot like the cardinal I dreamed about a few years ago. Hmm . . . whatever can it mean? http://motheofgod.com/threads/old-dream-about-jpii.2232/#post-29360
Okay I'll share my dream as well. Just for the record I NEVER have prophetic dreams. So this probably doesn't mean anything. Within a few days after Pope Benedict XVI annouced his resignation I had a dream and I saw 2 angels. They didn't look like what I think heavenly angels look like but more like some Christmas ornament angels I have but these were animated. I then knew that the cardinals were voting for the new Pope. And they came back so fast! It was like they walked in and suddenly were right back out. But the man I knew was Pope was wearing black and reminded me of Santa Claus b/c he had a white beard. But he appeared to be orthodox (like the Coptic church). So what does the winner get! Just kidding. I enjoy hearing these dreams as well. You never know. But of course continued prayer and guidance of the Holy Spirit for this job that lies ahead for the new Pope. God Bless!
Am I going to mess up the thread if I post a vision? Whats the difference? I don't know.... Your dreams are so profound Padraig, Bernadette and Rain! Interestingly enough, these two visions are about the Priesthood, which I pray a lot about and uphold, as all of us do. I've never felt I needed to share these visions, but I'll toss it out there. They brought me a great deal of joy and peace and hope! 28th June 2012-Feast of Sts Peter & Paul- Ordination to the Priesthood- Fr. xxxxx xxxxxx, Billings, MT After the ordination and Holy Mass, I stayed to give thanks for this priest. The Lord Jesus showed me a vision of himself on the crucifix suffering, then he looked up to heaven and came off of the cross and was glorified all in white surrounded by a white light that got brighter and brighter. Jesus put out his hands and then transformed into the Eucharistic host, surrounded in the brightest light. Out of the host stepped this new priest that was just ordained. Our Lord Jesus wanted me to know that through HIM, with HIM, and in HIM this priest was formed. I felt Jesus' joy! 29 June 2012-Fri. NOON Mass- First Holy Mass of Fr. xxxx xxxxxxxx, Billings, MT After this new priest's first Holy Mass I knelt and prayed in thanksgiving. I was then shown in a vision the priests who had been at the altar for that first Mass. They were the younger ones, more focused and they were often times made fun of by other priests because they wore cassocks and were so obedient to their studies and prayers how they did the rituals. They were lined up next to each other shoulder to shoulder; each one standing in their vestments and each bowing their heads in humility with their hands folded in prayer at their lips. Suddenly I saw an angry screaming crowd of people with weapons (reminded me of Rwanda). They were rushing towards the priests and were going to hurt them. As they rushed forward, the priests did not move, but stood stoic and humbly still in prayer. As the crowd got close, suddenly they were stopped by an invisible wall. They could not hurt the priests! I understood that although the world thinks of some of the priests as meek and mild mannered and weak, the Lord makes them strong, and powerful and uses them to conquer evil. Jesus made it clear that if they stayed humble and meek and unified and listened to the Lord he would use them in powerful ways that they couldn't even imagine and that most priests don't know the power of the priesthood or the power God is willing to work through them.
Is this him? George Cardinal Alencherry--He is not heavily built tho.... Here is the list of possible Popes!
I think I am going to spend time praying a Hail Mary for each one of them... Here is a rundown of the Cardinals with the names of them and what they believe-- http://www.cardinalrating.com/all_undereighty.htm
I still love Cardinal Ivan Dias !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oct 03, 2005Card. Ivan DiasFrom worldwide Vatican diplomacy to pastor-in-chief in Mumbai (Bombay). This is the path which was taken by Cardinal Ivan Dias, who today leads one of the largest dioceses in the world—10,000 Km2, 14.6 million residents, including 550,000 Catholics. His Episcopal motto consists of one word: “Servus”, that is, “servant”. Jul 15, 2005Dress code for Mumbai churchgoersCardinal Dias says skimpy clothing is unbecoming of church dignity. Miniskirts, tight outfits and plunging necklines are inappropriate for Sunday Mass, the Catholic Church in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay) says. Apr 15, 2005Conservative Indian cardinal in race for papacyNew Delhi: Indian Cardinal Ivan Dias, known to toe the line of the late Pope John Paul II on homosexuality, birth control and the role of missionaries, is among the top contenders in the race to be the next pope. LOURDES, France, DEC. 11, 2007 (Zenit.org).- The papal envoy sent to open the jubilee year of the Marian apparitions in Lourdes said that Mary inspires an attitude of "permanent battle" for good against the forces of evil. Cardinal Ivan Dias, prefect of the Vatican Congregation for Evangelization of People, opened the jubilee celebrations in France on Saturday, feast of the Immaculate Conception, the title with which Mary introduced herself when she appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. The cardinal said that the struggle between the forces of good and evil "began at the beginning of human history, and will continue until the end." Cardinal Dias said that today "this battle is even bloodier than in Bernadette's time." "The world finds itself terribly deceived in the spiral of relativism that desires to create a society without God, a relativism that erodes the permanent and unchangeable values of the Gospel; and of religious indifference that remains unconcerned before the higher good of things relating to God and the Church," he added. But, he said "a mother has bent down from heaven, concerned for her sons who live in sin, far from Christ." The cardinal said Mary enters into world history, which marks "the hostilities between her and the devil, as described in Genesis and Revelation." "The Virgin is weaving a network of her spiritual sons and daughters in order to launch a strong offensive against the deadly forces and to prepare for the final victory of her divine son Jesus Christ," stressed Cardinal Dias. The weapons are "conversion of heart, a great devotion to the holy Eucharist, daily recitation of the rosary, constant prayer without hypocrisy, and accepting sufferings for the salvation of the world," he affirmed. "The final victory will be God's." L'Osservatore Romano noted that for a moment during the celebrations, "around 4:15 p.m. [...] thanks to an international radio connection, everyone prayed to Mary together with the Pope."

I suppose you could say that a vision is a dream you have when you awake and that a dream(can be) a vision when you are asleep. There is a little known part of the elction to be Pope. Any Cardinal can interupt the conckave stand up and say that he has been directly inspired by the Holy Spirit to name so and so as Pope. You see that in the film, 'The shoes of the FIsherman' ( a wonderful film) ;do you remember? I believe that the times we are in are miraculous; that we live in the days of miracles again. It cheers me up to think that the Cardinals think right outside th box. I continue to hope the cardinals will, led by the SPirit think right outside the box. At any rate at least I hope it is not yet another Italian Cardinal. Not that I dislike Italians by no means, I love Italy, but still a change...
I had another very strking dream last night. I hastent osay I make no claims these dreams are prohetic, just that they are interesting make of it what you will. I was in a large house on a hill with a diverse group of other people, in cluding children. It was nighttime and as we looked up to the sky a huge swarm of meoerite came across the sky from right to left impacting far way on a town or city I would say about 15 or 29 miles in the distance. The strikes were repeated there must have been a hundred or more and when they hit the ground thrre wer elike huge sparks or fires rising up and a crumping sound iin the distance. I remmber feeling sorry for the people living there and thinking that they would all be dead, but at the same time feeling glad it was not me. Someone shouted a warning and then they began faling around us in our locality and we raced into the house to take conver, there were ecplosions all around us. When it was over we went outside and it was snowing heavily but the snow was muddy, dirty and the whole world was filled as though in a terrible ghostly twilight with the awful muddy snow which later I saw had left everyhting covered with revolting mud.
I loved your vision of the new preist Marti. I thooguht it was a profound teaching on the mass and Eucharist. I saw a nice thing in from of St Jospehs altar last week A large crowd of holy souls stood in front of the altar some of them with their arms outstretched as though they were appealing to him for help. Suddenly I saw them all surge forward at once in joy and I relaised that the whole heap were getting out at the same time towards heaven. St Joe must be very, very powerful to have gotten so many of the hook at the one go. He must love the Holy Souls very much. Here is a picture of st Joseph's statue at Clonard Monastery , Belfast before which I saw the Holy Souls pleeding.
Oh Padraig, that is beautiful and wonderful! THAT IS SOMETHING ONE DAY I HOPE TO SEE...It would bring me so much joy! I love St. Joseph too! I reminded my dear husband that he and I promised to buy the biggest statue of St. Joseph we could afford for our home/or backyard. I have a $500 one that I have my eye on...! It would go in our home. Its lovely ! Tonight Michael Voris on facebook said that CARDINAL BURKE of the U.S. was the ONLY CARDINAL who knelt down and kissed the ring of Pope Benedict as the Cardinals went past him for his final goodbye...!
I went to see Cardinal Burke at Knock shrine 2 years ago. I slipped into the adoration chapel right before his talk. Someone came in behind me and when I was leaving I saw it was Cardinal Burke on his knees on the floor at the back with his head bowed. I was very impressed with him. He is a very holy man. Padraig one of my daughters had a dream last night about metorites strking the earthe lots and lots of them. She called this morning and mentioned it as she was leaving. I didnt think much about it until I read your dream. Strange Mary
I had a dream recently (in the last week or so) which has really stayed with me and has given me great interior peace and consolation. This actually sounds corny as I describe it as the imagery is so obvious, but I'll tell it anyway. I was on a ship at night in very stormy seas (I have a particular fear of/fascination with the ocean and often dream about tsunamis) and I was very afraid. There didn't seem to be many people on the boat but all were afraid, and I was taking extra care to protect my son who is a child. We were on the deck and it was nighttime so we could feel the power of the storm and waves but could not see them. All of a sudden we felt the ship take a massive shift in direction, like turning a 90 degree angle very quickly, and all were terrified at this and began to panic. The captain of the ship was on the deck, standing high over us, and he announced that they had changed the configuration of the sails so that the ship was now working with the wind instead of against it and we were now on the correct course to get safely through the storm. I could actually feel the ship surge ahead at great speed as soon as this happened and I felt a great sense of safety and peace, which I still feel when I think about this dream. I don't know if this dream was what you would call prophetic, but it was very reassuring and I did definitely have one very prophetic dream before in my life, many years ago.
Its interesting to me that you said, "I could actually feel the ship surge ahead at great speed as soon as this hapened and I felt a great sense of safety and peace..." What a wonderful dream! Now, for many---time has sped up. I feel it daily, and so do my children.
Yes, this is the feeling that has stayed with me from this dream, that surge of power when the wind took hold of the ship's sails...the boat became literally unstoppable. Also the absolute confidence that we placed in the captain, who remained completely calm and utterly certain about what he was doing. It was a wonderful dream, yes, and not too difficult to decipher the symbolism in it!
