The Countdown crew released Part 3 of their Great Storm video series. Most of us are aware of what to do, but we can always use reminders. Key takeaways in preparation for the Warning experience: 1. Receive the sacraments while they are still available to us. Examine our consciences. Reconcile with God and everyone; follow the straight and narrow path. 2. In addition to praying and availing of the sacraments, maintain a personal relationship with Jesus. Engage in regular conversations with the Lord. The time will come when we will have to choose between two (or more) directions to take (My note: which may be confusing, even to the faithful elect). If we are familiar with the Lord's voice within us, we will know His will and the right action or path to take. 3. Of course, we never know when our earthly life will end. Because of the series of calamities (disasters, plagues, etc.) occurring right now, we can face our individual judgement anytime before the Warning. 4. Leave our future and everything else to the Lord. Some of us will be called to martyrdom (a glorious outcome!); others will host the faithful in their homes (as refuges) or be taken to refuges. (My note: Perhaps this is what our Lord Jesus meant by "Some will be taken; others will be left behind.") 5. Be ready to leave anything and everything when the right time comes. Nothing is more important than the salvation of everyone's soul.
I'm sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but I just read this yesterday. It concerns Garabandal and the Warning. Although it is widely accepted that the Warning will occur in an even year, this article discusses the possibility of 2023 being the year. The writer also points out the timing of Pope Benedict's death, on the last day of the year 2022. It never occurred to me before but it does now - it could be a marker for something ahead of us.
