Sky's Stephen Murphy said the news of Leo Varadkar's resignation was a "political bombshell" which has left a "sense of disbelief". In an emotional statement delivered outside Government Buildings in Dublin, Mr Varadkar said his reasons for leaving were "both personal and political".
I think the Referedum result killed him off. You could see the shock on his face when the results came in . Maybe the people who really run things decided to dump him .
