The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves! Interesting that the sheriff thought that a person proclaiming himself a Constitutionalist was problematic! Lord have mercy! It is unfortunate that the issue of parental rights is not explicitly stated in either the Federal or State constitutions. Traditionally, the courts have considered such rights implied, but as government encroachment continues to increase, I fear such violations as this one will only multiply. It is one more example, subtle though it be, of the attack on the family. Here, the ability of the parents to decide on medical recourse was usurped. Peace and safety in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

No. Still, if authorities go unchecked in this specific case, it begs the question of what restraints remain to prevent them from entering our homes under the pretext of their choosing? The goverment is worried that this child is being abused or neglected, so it sends in a SWAT team to abuse and terrify the child and his brothers and sisters. What kind of *#$% sense does that make? Crazy, disturbing and stupid all rolled into one.
