I am only just seeing this. Very very unusual for Maine. Day before yesterday the legislature with full support of the governor lifted all restrictions on abortion. Dear Jesus have mercy on your people. Give us the grace to wake up from our blind murderous ignorance. Prayers for all grieving people. Padraig is right. " the devil was a murderer from the beginning" He is running loose in the world. And we are all feeling it. Prayers for the poor families. Prayers they catch this deranged man.
The Maine shooter has been found dead in the woods from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Lord have mercy on his soul.
I saw this interview with the father of one of the victims. I now know why his son was a hero b/c this man, Leroy Walker, is a hero in his faith. What an example. His response is amazing and a testament … I don’t know if he is Catholic or Christian….appears he is but no matter…. He is the antithesis to the evil and hate we are seeing all over the place. Beautifully said miker. I can attest to the fact that Lewiston is the most Catholic city in Maine. It has a large Franco American population and beautiful Churches. Very devout Catholics.
Thank you AED… that was my inclination. This ability to forgive the “enemy” as Mr. Walker has done is only through the spirit of Christ that clearly resides within him. It’s amazing. I can almost hear Jesus say, he is amazed by his faith…. His faith has saved him.
