In vitro fertilization, or IVF as it’s more commonly known, does not receive adequate coverage from the pro-life “movement” nor from the pulpit. Yes, one can find numerous articles that have appeared over the years here and there, but largely this issue is NOT talked about and people remain uninformed of its wickedness. I understand that infertility is a very painful topic, and many couples have to bear that cross. I also understand that people desire to make excuses for couples who use IVF because their intentions – to have a baby – are good, unlike the intentions of abortion-minded women. But we simply cannot employ evil techniques to produce a desired good. And the facts are IVF uses means that are gravely evil. – sperm are obtained via self-abuse, often times involving the viewing of pornography – eggs are harvested after a woman is pumped full of high-dose hormones, which can lead to adverse health effects like cancer – embryos, created outside of the marital embrace in a Petri dish, are screened for undesirable characteristics including genetic defects and subsequently destroyed. If you believe life begins at conception (it does), then you must acknowledge that this is an early abortion. – embryos are then chosen to either be transferred to the womb or stored. Many do not survive either process, resulting in more death. And transferred embryos that do successfully implant, can be destroyed through a “selective reduction” later if the parents desire only one child. Selective reduction is a surgical abortion. – this process is not used exclusively by married heterosexual couples who desire a family, but by single women, homosexuals, and transgender individuals. This is quite literally human trafficking that turns children into a commodity that can be bought and sold. And it dents many children the benefit of an intact, two-parent household with BOTH a mother and father. – Unused and leftover embryos are frequently “donated” (sold) to biotech companies where they are then used in research, often times involving humazined mice. This entire process is rife with evil from start to finish. If you’ve been ignorant of those facts, then start informing yourself and spread the word.
