I watched this several times before , Lee. But I have always been perplexed at how composed the people in the Chapel are!! If it was me my eyeballs would be a quarter of an inch from the glass gawking. But of course its possible they cannot see it, that it only appeared on the film. :?:

More and more it gives me an awesome feeling receiving the Lord in the Eucharist. Imagine the King of Heaven coming to us, really coming. I read one time how great a thing it is at this time to make a request when we have captured the Lord and I make it a special time for requests, talking to Jesus face to face in this special time. "Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly for you - for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart...don't listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love... Lovely Padraig, the desire and the intensity of receiving has been steadily increasing in me as well. Before daily mass my job is to make sure we have enough Consecrated Hosts in the Tabernacle. SO every morning I have a nano minute alone with Jesus and I can't tell you what it means to me. Sometimes tears fill my eyes, some times I'm so filled with joy I giggle at the thought of being alone with Him. It's such an honor and I wake up thinking about it every morning. It's total joy for me. Lee
There is no greater aid to prayer. While others crawl, he who receives the Eucharist flies. There is no greater aid to holiness, God Himself bends down to hold us in His arms. There is no more sovereign protection from Satan and our enemies, the Lord of Host enters our hearts. There is no greater honour, we receive, what the angels themselves cannot, they stand amazed. There is no greater joy, the King of Heaven visits our heart and makes His home there. There is no more Sovereign remedy for our ills, the God of Miracles knocks on our door. There is no greater miracle, Good Himself in form of bread and wine. There is no greater wonder, God of heaven and Earth humbling Himself to enter our souls. There is no greater mystery , the Blessed Trinity in littleness. There is no greater glory, the light of heaven itself shinning in our souls. There is no greater friendship, friendship of friendships our friend within. The angels are amazed, the heavens tremble, the saints enraptured, what vision can compare, what prophetic word match, what good work earn so great a reward. Let He who stands in the centre of our heart at the Mass stand in the centre of our life. Great mark of predestination!! Infallible sign of Heaven's leaning, the Lord well received in the Eucharist. The sure running shoes of saints and ours, dear heavens gateway, the Eucharist!!!!!!
