This really saddens me. I worked in the library at UCL in 1981-2. There was a thriving pro-life group and CathSoc was doing very well with an inspiring chaplain. I think it helped that the union president (chair?) was prolife and probably Catholic (I forget) and so the ghastly right-on atmosphere of student politics was mercifully not there. How very sad that UCL is now as bad as all the other lemmings. I thought they were better than that.
