The true deception is that any of the other Republican candidates have a chance of beating Hillary Clinton.

Why are certain elements of the pro-life movement so hell-bent on delivering the election to Hillary on a silver platter? It is just sad and crazy to watch. Oh well, can't say I didn't warn you of this folly.

 

Richard, I have respectfully answered your same question over and over.

Planned Parenthood wants trump...I posted the story that quoted them as having said so. They are very happy to have him on board....which is the exact reason that the major ProLife organizations across this nation oppose him. PLANNED PARENTHOOD made our case...we said Trump could not be trusted and planned parenthood confirmed that trump is the kind of republican they can support, what about that do you not get?

ProLife groups would never risk the lives of the unborn to Trump...and they have already been proven right.

Your refusal to see this is the perfect case of only seeing what you want to see...even when it's right in front of you. It's pretty simple...sorry you do get it. But the experienced professional ProLife groups nationwide DO get it.

 

The American people voted a guy in for two terms who on four different ocassions while being a State Senator voted four times "No" against the "Born Alive Act". This tells us what the pulse of the American voter is. Meanwhile the Republicans have done absolutely nothing since Roe v Wade. All they do is talk a big game asking for votes, while allowing the far left to bring this nation to ruin. There is no longer a two party system in this nation. As radio host Michael Savage says "it's a one party system playing a two card Monty game". We are being duped & have been for quite a while. A Republican controlled House & Senate didn't even have the slightest guts or backbone to stand against PP. And lastly the pope practices Liberation Theology. Ben Shapiro wrote a good article about that on Breitbart.com

 

I agree with you that the republicans have sat on their hands on abortion...but not All of them. Ted Cruz tried to force the defunding of planned parenthood ...to hold up the budget...and the party elite won out. But he is not the party elite...he is anti establishment! He has the best conservative record in congress! Trumps record is from completely supporting abortion, even partial birth abortion ,now to supposibly being ProLife. Yet he will not commit to defunding planned parenthood...and your going to trust this guy to get it done?

 

I respect Ted Cruz and like him a lot. But hypothetically if the election should come down to Hillary vs Trump or Bolshevik Bernie vs Trump? Where will this country end up with Hillary or Bernie? It's all too soon to speculate. We will soon find out what the people will decide.

 

Your right about waiting until the people speak...and I firmly believe that in the end, no matter the result, we will get the government that we deserve.

God help us, because IMHO, if it's trump Hillary or Bernie...we're done.

I'm just hearing this on the radio Padrig...from most accounts, it sounds as though his remarks will actually help Trump...very sad

Trump supporters are impervious to reason. Despite the FACTS that more than 50% of their OWN PARTY does not like Trump, has by far the worst favorability ratings among Americans of any candidate, and does the WORST in polls of any GOP candidate in head to head matchups vs. Hillary or Sanders, somehow he is the only candidate that can beat Hillary.

 

The whole election and time it has been given even on this forum in arguing this circus, is part of the diabolical disorientation that our Lady of Fatima said would take place.

As if the political arena will somehow solve our moral degradation of where our country and the rest of the world is at. It won't happen folks, move on and enter into prayer and under the mantle of the Blessed mother. That is our only chance for hope.

 

I think Charlie J said there might not be an election Nov 2016 because things would become so bad.

But he may be basing that on the premise of his understanding of the rescue would come in late 2017.

 

No, he says that the "next leader" will not come through the political process. There may (or may not) be some sort of election, but the leader will not come through that process. He has also said that Obama would not finish his term, and that there will be a period of chaos in which we may have several leaders over the course of a 6 month or so period. It is not clear whether the political entity known as the USA will survive when we come through to the other side of the Storm.

It makes no sense. Polls show that he loses to Hillary...

Praying for wisdom...that inner voice....counting on graces from the sacraments and the rosary to guide.

 

Crewdog, (Dennis) often posts on the forum for us not to waste words on things that will not matter much shortly. He also posted he thought that this might be his prophetic role here to remind us of the great urgency of events.

I prayfully think he was right.

We, none of us have forever.

 

I know that it is a difficult thing to get our heads around, but like Donald Trump or loath him , given prophecy it seems unlikely that there will be an authentic next President of what we now know as the USA and if he did get there he will be gone in short time, together with the White House and probalbly what we now know as the USA and what we know as the world as it exists at present.

This may seem depressing but it is exciting and hopeful too.

God is about to clear the board and set out the pieces anew..His way, not ours...and unless Donald Trump was picked by God to be some kind of Second Washington, he will be one of the pieces swept right of the board with the rest.

 

I, like you Padrig feel this impending storm...or as some have already noted, the one we're are already in. I think it will be rough going, but if the reset button doesn't occur, we really will feel defeated living in a world that is spiraling into an ever deeper moral decay. Sadly, the only hope of coming out if it now seems to be a last resort of the Almighty who will at last, get our attention....painful for all....and final mercy for others.

You might be right that all this political debate might possible be for not. If I knew that for sure, I'd not waste my time. A bit of me does want to to acquiesce to the temptation of letting it go...but then I feel as though I'm not answering the call that begs me to keep fighting the good fight....being fully aware that satistically, it's of little use or influence.

I sure wish the Lord would offer me a nod on this...not that I'd find peace in either outcome....be it the vortex of the storm or the pathetic reality of living another four years with a president that would be a disaster on a so many levels that I could not even imagine.

Oh well....guess I'll be having to double down on the discernment of all this...

One consolation is for sure....whatever it is....it's Gods will be done...and I'm ok with that.....because, we know how the book ends...:
