I see in Ireland an 81 year old pensioner is leading a Rebellion against the Irish Bishops. She is asking for a boycott of Mass Attendance over the issue of Women Priests. She does not appear to have been very sucessful, for more people than usual seem to be going to Mass, perhaps, the Irish being at times somewhat contrary, to spite her:

But much, much more worryingly Archbishop Nichols the Primate of the Catholic Church in England and Wales ,has said that the English Church had nothing against the Government introducing Gay Unions. I think they will just about fall over when they hear this in the Vatican.

“That’s not true, in this country. In this country, we [JS: the Catholic hierarchy, i.e. the Catholic bishops' conference of England and Wales] were very nuanced. We did NOT oppose gay civil partnerships, we recognised that in English law there might be a case for those. We persistently said that these are not the same as marriage.”

Yet here is what Pope Benedict taught on 13 September:

"The Church looks with concern at the growing attempts to eliminate the Christian concept of marriage and the family from the conscience of society. Marriage is the lasting union of love between a man and a woman, which is always open to the transmission of human life ... the success of marriages depends upon us all and on the personal culture of each individual citizen. In this sense, the Church cannot approve legislative initiatives that involve a re-evaluation of alternative models of marriage and family life. They contribute to a weakening of the principles of natural law, and thus to the relativisation of all legislation and confusion about values in society".

The seeds have been sown for a great achism in the Church - apostacy has reached into the very heart of the Church and the Garabandal prophecy of 1965 that 'bishop will oppose bishop, and cardinal oppose cardinal' has come to fruition:

Since my message of October 18, 1961 has not been complied with and has not been made much known to the world, I will tell you that this is the last one. Before the chalice was filling now it is overflowing. Many Cardinals, many Bishops, and many Priests are on the path of perdition and they take many souls with them. To the Eucharist, there is given less and less importance. We should avoid the wrath of God on us by our good efforts. If you ask pardon with your sincere soul God will pardon you. It is I, your mother, who through the intercession of St. Michael, wish to say that you amend, that you are already in the last warnings and that I love you much and do not want your condemnation. Ask Us sincerely and we will give to you. You should sacrifice more. Think of the passion of Jesus.

In a lesser known message of 23 June 1962 our Lady told Marie Dolores Maxon & Jacinta Gonzales both then 13 years old:

The world continues the same...That it has not changed at all. FEW WILL SEE GOD. They are so few that it causes The Virgin much sorrow. What a pity that it does not change. The Virgin told us that the Chastisement is coming seeing that the world is not changing. The cup is filling up. How sad the Virgin was although She didn't let us see it because She loves us so much and She suffers alone. She is so good! Be good everyone so that The Virgin will be happy. She told us that We who are good should pray for those who are bad. Let us pray to God for the world for those who do not know Him. Be good...be very good everyone"
