Is Prevent a form of predictive policing? As in using data collection on people and AI to predict crimes before they occur? Machines will be even more rigid than men and there will be no arguing possible with them - police will just obey orders from the machine and serve the system. I shudder to think of it but it's another example of something that citizens should oppose with all their might but most don't bother... On a related subject, Daniel O'Connor has a video about the lie of AI and the idea that it can be sentient or use any wisdom, it's just using massive amounts of data from all our online activities. He also talks of chatGPT which he tested and analyzed the output using software he has access to as a professor. He says it produces nothing original but plagiarizes what is already online - which is not what we are told.

It's funny you should mention this because I am reading through the Book of Genesis at the moment and have come to the part were God gives detailed instructions on who and what they supposed to bring with them on the Ark. I wonder what Noah's wife made of it all? As far as I recall there was a huge, huge flood around about that time which covered a huge, huge area, it left its marks on the land which scientists have uncovered. It is delightful when scientists prove things in the Bible to have been historically accurate. I think there is a huge Global seed bank in Norway where they keep all the seeds safe, especially the farming seeds. I think all big Governments have some kind of vaults to bury stuff like their art collections and their gold. Sometimes when I am out walking in the woods I discover little Government Nuclear War little hides were folks like soldiers and Government workers can take cover. But most of them are disused. I think Nukes now are so big that there is no hiding from them and they just gave up. I know the Vatican has some kind of vault. I was listening to them talk about war with Russia on the radio this morning. That all appear to me to be insane. Like having a war like this was a minor thing, like a trip to the dentist. This rings so true. Over here people, except for the very few veterans left, have any idea what war is truly about. My brother in law & sister were visiting from The Netherlands a couple of years ago; he made this point very clear. Speaking about his own grandfather and what he endured during that time. His grandfather was actually spared death when a German soldier walked away, instead of shooting him as he should have. The soldier was alone so only himself and the grandfather knew that a life had been spared. My brother-in-law said his grandfather always said to them that Germans are not bad people; there are good Germans and bad Germans, same for all peoples. This, like Quis' story of his own escape, truly brings home to a Westerner like myself, what war really entails.
