Yuval Noah Harari (Hebrew: יובל נח הררי [juˈval ˈnoaχ haˈʁaʁi]; born 1976) is an Israeli public intellectual, historian and a professor in the Department of History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.[1] He is the author of Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind (2014), Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow (2016), and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century (2018). His writings examine free will, consciousness, intelligence, happiness and suffering.

Harari writes about the "cognitive revolution" occurring roughly 70,000 years ago when Homo sapiens supplanted the rival Neanderthals and other species of the genus Homo, developed language skills and structured societies, and ascended as apex predators, aided by the agricultural revolution and accelerated by the scientific revolution, which have allowed humans to approach near mastery over their environment. His books also examine the possible consequences of a futuristic biotechnological world in which intelligent biological organisms are surpassed by their own creations; he has said, "Homo sapiens as we know them will disappear in a century or so".[2]

In Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Harari surveys human history from the evolutionary emergence of Homo Sapiens to 21st Century political and technological revolutions. The book is based on his lectures to an undergraduate world history class.

    Early life
Yuval Noah Harari was born and raised in Kiryat Ata, Israel, one of three children born to Shlomo and Pnina Harari. His family was a secular Jewish family with roots in Lebanon and Eastern Europe. His father was a state-employed armaments engineer and his mother was an office administrator.[3][4][5] Harari taught himself to read at age three. He studied in a class for intellectually gifted children at the Leo Baeck Education Center in Haifa from the age of eight. He deferred mandatory military service in the Israel Defense Forces to pursue university studies as part of the Atuda program but was later exempted from completing his military service following his studies due to health issues.[5] He began studying history and international relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at age 17.

    Personal life
Harari is gay[35] and in 2002 met his husband Itzik Yahav, whom he calls "my internet of all things".[36][37] Yahav is also Harari's personal manager.[38] They married in a civil ceremony in Toronto, Canada.[39]

Harari says Vipassana meditation, which he began whilst in Oxford in 2000,[40] has "transformed my life".[41] He practises for two hours every day (one hour at the start and end of his work day[42]), every year undertakes a meditation retreat of 30 days or longer, in silence and with no books or social media,[43][44][28] and is an assistant meditation teacher.[45] He dedicated Homo Deus to "my teacher, S. N. Goenka, who lovingly taught me important things", and said "I could not have written this book without the focus, peace and insight gained from practising Vipassana for fifteen years."[46] He also regards meditation as a way to research.[28]

Harari is a vegan, and says this resulted from his research, including his view that the foundation of the dairy industry is breaking the bond between mother cow and calf.[4][47] As of May 2021, Harari does not have a smartphone.[48][49]

Harari lives in Karmei Yosef, a community settlement in central Israel.[50]

Bizarre and possible. Although this man doesn’t have the charisma and good looks one would believe an antichrist of the end times to have. Or is it just Hollywood coming up with that?

I wonder how these people fall into this nonsense....
And I often wonder too, what happens to these clowns when they hit a serious bout of ill-health or are near to death. Do these warped views alter any after they've been seriously rattled health wise and after they've been discarded by their audience..

the Portuguese version of Wikipedia classifies him as an atheist; in my opinion this would indicate that he is not the antichrist as the antichrist would claim the prophecy of the Jewish messiah; and one of the requirements for joining Freemasonry is to believe in some god

The Catholic Prophesies relating to the anti Christ show that he will be like Christ but in reverse, as though looking in a mirror, ultimate good facing ultimate evil. In order for this to effect they would share certain basic characteristics, often askewed..

So as Jesus was Jesus, so too will the anti Christ be Jewish. As Jesus was born in the Holy Land so too the anti Christ be born in the Holy Land.

As Jesus was Born of a Jewish Virgin so the anti Christ will be Born of a Harlot. As The Father of Jesus was God, so the Father of the anti Christ will be the devil.

Just as the Birth of Jesus was foretold by a star, so too will the birth of the anti Christ be foretold in the Stars.

This , I believe was the original intention of the Vatican Observatory first started in 1582, (currently located in Arizona in the USA). I doubt of any at all in the Vatican itself recall its original function or believe in such a thing as the anti Christ ( I suspect few of them even believe in God). Nevertheless I am sire at least one of the Vatican Astronomers still searches.
Arizona Observatory was founded in 1981, the year of the biggest upsurge of Marian Appartions in human history.

In either case all you have to do is to compose a tick list of any person you suspect to be the anti-Christ and do a tick when he fits the bill.

Yoval Noah Harai has loads of ticks. Try it and see.

it is also possible that the antichrist presents a genealogy that links him to King David; one of the requirements for the Jewish Messiah

You can see that observatory glinting on the top of Mt. Graham waaayyyyy off in the distance from my parents' front yard. The priests sometimes come down and say mass and give talks at the University's Newman Center. One of them wears a stole with planets and stars on it, lol.

A description of him is given in Pope Francis's favourite book, which he keeps on his bedside table.

I know this all sounds crazy.

But suppose you were to go back in time to the Three Wise Men who looked for a Star that would foretell the Birth of the Messiah.

    How mad would that seem?

Ahh I see Noval was born in Lower Gallilee , which would have been not far from Nazareth in a very, very Ancient Site.

    Tick:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiryat_Ata

    History[edit]
The Early Bronze Age site at Qiryat Ata has been extensively excavated since 1990, revealing stratified remains from the Neolithic, EB (=early Bronze Age), IB and EB II periods.[2][3][4][5] At Tell el ‘Idham remains from a continuous habitation from the early Bronze Age, through the Persian age down to the Roman era have been identified.[6]

Archaeologists Mordechai Aviam and Dan Barag (1935–2009) thought it to be the Capharatha (Greek: Καφαραθ᾽) mentioned by Josephus[7] in the Lower Galilee, one of several views tentatively identified for the site.[8]

Rock-hewn winepresses dating to the Byzantine era have been found here. Some have had crosses and Greek letters incised, supporting the theory that there was a Byzantine monastery located in the area.[9][10] Ceramics from the Byzantine era have also been found here,[11][12] and a building from the Byzantine or early Islamic period has been excavated.[12]

In 1283 it was mentioned as part of the domain of the Crusaders, according to the hudna between the Crusaders and the Mamluk sultan Qalawun. At the time it was called Kafrata.[13] Ceramics from the Mamluk era have also been found here.[12][14] An excavation at Independence Street, Qiryat Ata, showed nearly continuous settlement dating from the Persian and Hellenistic eras up to the Mamluk era (late eleventh–early fifteenth century CE).[15]

    How strange. He is an Atheist yet uses Buddhist Meditations techniques, taught by a group of fellow Jews in the USA;

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vipassana_movement

This Sect with links to Spiritualists or New Age looks forward to the coming of the Maitreya, or Enlightened One, often identified with the Anti Christ:

    Big Tick:)

    Maitreya (Theosophy) - Wikipedia

In Theosophy, Maitreya or Lord Maitreya is an advanced spiritual entity and high-ranking member of a reputed hidden spiritual hierarchy, the Masters of the Ancient Wisdom. According to Theosophical doctrine, one of the hierarchy's functions is to oversee the evolution of humankind; in concert with this function Maitreya is said to hold the "Office of the World Teacher". Theosophical texts posit that the purpose of this Office is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge about the true constitution and workings of Existence to humankind. Humanity is thereby assisted on its presumed cyclical, but ever progressive, evolutionary path. Reputedly, one way the knowledge transfer is accomplished is by Maitreya occasionally manifesting or incarnating in the physical realm; the manifested entity then assumes the role of World Teacher of Humankind.

The Theosophical concept of Maitreya has many similarities to the earlier Maitreya doctrine in Buddhism. However, they differ in important aspects. The Theosophical Maitreya has been assimilated or appropriated by a variety of quasi-theosophical and non-theosophical New Age and Esoteric groups and movements.
