With all the craziness in the world, perhaps we can pause and pray for all the young Pilgrims attending WYD in Portugal which started yesterday. I pray that the Lord be with all these young men and women. I pray that this huge event be a sign to the world that faith is alive and still matters. There are probably also still faithful young Catholics. I found the pictures and statements of some of the participants of the WYD in the news yesterday slightly shocking. Inappropriate clothing and "everyone has their own individual faith and anything goes" statements...
