It's almost comical. They are terrified. All the lib newspapers and commentators. Trying to destroy this movie. Reports of AC being shut off in theaters or sudden evacuation of theaters for no reason in spite of a full house. Do they think we are blind?????? I ask myself who and what are they trying to protect.
I went to see Sound of Freedom on July 4th at AMC theaters. Friends who tried to make the same showing couldn’t get tickets because if said it was sold out. My showing was NOT sold out….I would say 60% full. Why do you think?
John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
I heard that the promoters behind the movie have asked people to buy tickets just to support the film, even if they're not actually going to see it (a lot of people feel the subject matter would be too heavy and upsetting). So that might explain the half empty but sold out theatres.
It's really astonishing what is going on at the minute. It truly is a Spiritual Battle. The most evil person I ever met in my life was a serial child molestor, a local priest, here in Ireland, in Belfast. He even looked totally evil. I will see if I can bring bring up a photo of him for you to see. Just like the horror films. Nightmare in Elm Street. https://www.irishnews.com/news/pope...erical-sex-abuse-scandals-in-ireland-1415362/ - Paedophile priest Brendan Smyth One of the most infamous cases was Belfast-born paedophile Brendan Smyth who abused over 140 children over four decades. Smyth was arrested in 1994 in Belfast but went on the run to the Republic of Ireland where he spent three years. The mishandling of his extradition led to the collapse of the Irish government. The revelations led to a number of inquiries set up in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Today we enjoyed a wonderful solidly Catholic homily on the attacks on our personal Faith by social pressures, media, politics etc and on the Faith of the Church by bishops etc who bear false witness and try to change the eternal truths. He referenced the synod. The answer given by him was to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus or as Our Blessed Mother instructed us at Garabandal “think on the Passion of Jesus”. He reminded us that everything we are and have is a gift from God and we cannot take credit for anything. The cinemas of New Zealand have a general ban on the movie “Sound of Freedom” but after a prolonged search and battle we can now see it in one small cinema and are going as a parish. Our curate finished his homily with that notice. https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=t...#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:396b57aa,vid:F2tKVqZZiI4
Amazing that they should be trying to bury a movie like this. It must have touched some considerable nerve.
Thank you AED. Yes we are blessed. The prayers of the faithful included one “that we may be preserved from degeneration disaster and war” - words straight from the prayer dictated by The Lady of All Nations.
And this afternoon we had our usual feed of Latin with Adoration, Vespers and Benediction. Our priest gave a short refresher on how to read and sing Gregorian. We sing O Salutaris, Tantum Ergo, Pater Nister and Salve Regina and the other Latin hymns and as a parish we can now plain chant the psalms and The Magnificat quite well. (I am boasting now but not of myself) Our Vespers are done in the traditional way of alternating sides. We are blessed.
Jim Caviezel continuing to do Good Stuff, I see. Very Nice. Almost a sole Voice of Light and Reason among the Darkness and immorality of Hollywood.
The tune of the above song echoes in my mind as a preparation for Adoration. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Gaze upon His marvelous grace, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of his humble embrace. Turn your eyes to the altar, As Humility reigns in this place, May Our Lord Himself gift us with His Peace, Emanating from His Monstrance of grace. In silence pray the Chaplet of Mercy Before the Quiet with no measure of haste, Bend your knees before the true Lord of all, Let the Love of His Heart now be traced.
