Mass has become the fulcrum of my life where I encounter the Divine and receive such peace that someday I will float to the altar to receive Jesus. I find the Holy Spirit really present at Mass and receive little lights and inspirations. Yesterday, at a funeral Mass, a word was give to me which I shared on another thread, and which i think is true - 'Blessings will come before the punishments' as God's Fatherly heart aches to reveal the truth of His love to this prodigal generation. I believe there is a coming revelation of the Fatherhood of God perhaps through the warning/miracle period of History. I always associate Garabandal with blessings as in one apparition the seers saw Mother Mary carry the infant Child and the child Jesus Blessed the world with the sign of the Cross. God desires only to bless us but we cannot receive gifts that we do not want. Yet we are going to receive the greatest blessing from God the world has ever seen and in our lifetime. But this will not prevent the chastisements to come. Today in Mass, as I was pondering the life of the saints I asked God what characterizes the life of a saint & the answer was so simple - ' a saints is someone who always seeks Me, always'. Psalm 42 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, my God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? 3 My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” 4 These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng.
Garabandal, When you said the following, I thought of the passage from Jeremiah. Thank you! the answer was so simple - ' a saints is someone who always seeks Me, always'. Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me; when you seek me with all your heart...
That verse from Jeremiah 29:11 was a 'word' given to me many times several years ago so it is Providential that I 'hear' this word again today
