After giving out the Precious Blood this morning at mass I took the chalice to the little Chapel of Rest behind the altar. On leaving I touched ,very fondly the very old, rather battered, grand looking large brass Tabernacle to honour the Dear Lord within. As Id id so I felt the Lord speak,

'Ah but Padraig you yourself are my Tabernacle (now)'

Then as I looked downward at my heart I saw myself as though on fire with the Presence of the Holy of Holies, the Most High God and that this little vessel of clay had indeed become the very home of God.

I walked out back onto the altar and felt a little like Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, when he met the Lord in the Tabernacle of the Altar in Jerusalem, struck dumb by the holiness of God.

The dear God had made this ordinary communion so special, just like my first Communion, making all things new.

For the Holy Spirit of God from time to time can reach His hand from Heaven and make all things new, a rosary, a Hail Mary, a prayer to our Guardian Angel. Suddenly He comes from heaven and makes them breath, makes them shine and covers them with His Glory.

    Marana tha. Come Lord Jesus.

    Revelation 21:5

A New Heaven and a New Earth
4and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." 5And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true." 6Then He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.…

    Revelation 19:9
Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And he added, "These are the true words of God."

    Yes, living tabernacles.

This is important to remember for there is a coming time of persecution when Mass will be suppressed and we will be living tabernacles witnessing to the power of the Lord.

What a joy will be in my breast to be accused for being a Christian before the courts of the world.

"When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But Stephen, he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord. And cast him out of the city, and stoned him"

I saw something the other night which was the exact opposite of the Eucharist.

I was walking the dogs along a very busy city road at even time. A woman, I suppose in her 40's was shouting at another lady far across the road. Her face was incandescent with rage. She abused her, cursed her called her all kinds of foul names at the very top of her voice. As well as this she accused her of all kinds of evil goings on.

The other lady just kept quiet and ignored her until about a quarter of a mile up the road ,she stopped and began to scream abuse too, even worse than before. When I turned to go down a side road to go down to the park they were screaming away, I am sure half the city heard them.

We call the Eucharist , 'Communion' and communion it is for it binds us together in peace. The opposite of this Holy Union is disunity which is what the devil desires , symbolised by those poor, poor two women.

Disunion leads us to war and destruction, communion to love, peace and building up the Body of Christ.

Beautiful Padraig, just wanted I needed to read today. I was privileged to serve today also at Mass and we had a child who was the son of two of our RCIA candidates, now new Catholics, have his First Holy Communion today. It brought a tear to my eye- I still get weepy about how the Lord brought me to His table after all these years as a Methodist. What amazing grace!

Yes the Eucharist is the sun round which the little planet of our day revolves.

    Fire of our heart.

    Life of our day.

    Breath of our breath.

This morning at Mass when I was going up to receive Communion I hoped to receive from the priest rather than the female extraordinary minister, but the way the 'traffic' worked out I ended up going to the woman.
I stood as usual with my hands out to receive, she held the host up - not very high, but then she placed it into my hand with such tender deliberation that I had what I can only describe as a 'Pieta Moment'.
It really felt as if the poor damaged body of Christ had been entrusted to my care.

We are fortunate in that at one of the two parishes I attend, kneelers are put out and we can receive Our Eucharistic Lord on the tongue and on our knees and I find that a very great privilege.

Here is something for all lovers of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament to enjoy:

They say that Padre Pio was denied the Eucharist for a length of time before by his superiors in order to punish him during the time he was coming under strong criticism from his contemporaries and the Church alike, and he went into a coma because of it. It just goes to show the power the Eucharist has! I have personally experienced the wonderful effects of the Bread of Life in my own life and can't live without it.

I don't always and I should, I try to receive from the priest, I get in the other line.

Today, reading the messages to Valentina Papagna the Sydney Seer Scolaire Bocht posted. Thanks! Here is an excerpt about women Eucharistic ministers. They mean well in their hearts but no says Our Lord. It has gone on for so long, see the date of the message. Don't you all wish in the Era of Peace for only the Tridentine Mass? The reverence. I wish I could go to the Tridentine Mass more often, my husband does not care for the Latin Mass. Also, who needs the Protestant fellowship of the sign of peace AND just before receiving Our Lord.

    April 25, 1999

"Ladies, please do not handle Me and run around the Altar. You think you please Me. No my children, you offend Me gravely. For I did not choose women. I chose men to be Priests from the very beginning. I chose the apostles. They were my first Priests. Pray my children and be humble. I love you without your running around the Sacred Table, for this is not for you. I love you all and bless you, please console Me my children for I am gravely offended.
When Lord Jesus was speaking to me I started to cry because He was so sad and His Heart was bleeding because of the many offenses He receives. Please console Our Lord by changing the way we live."

Does this drive anyone nuts, when you see a Eucharistic minister placing the holy Eucharist back in the
Tabernacle while the priest is standing there watching with his hands folded in prayer? This is the priest's
    job.

I have long found peace of heart doing and acting as the Church advises and permits.

I have difficulty with a 'Jesus' who appears to speak against the rules and guidance of His own Church.

Christ is not divided nor should we attempt to divide Him.

You are dear to me even if we disagree about Valentina. I know that sounds like sucking up, truly, I am sincere.

Remember that message to Lec of the Philippines about the prophets? Sometimes people believe the messengers are false for various reasons, a cross for prophets. Take the good from the messages and do not rush to disbelieving whether a prophet is true.

I remember in GSWYL messages, how Jesus said I will do anything to save My people and Our Lord stated, so, do not fight over the differences in the Novus Ordo and the Tridentine Mass. I guess, I was doing this in sharing that excerpt from Valentina's message about women Eucharistic ministers. And my comment about the priest should place the Eucharist back in the Tabernacle. What about this too, women were never on the altar until the Novus Ordo Mass? The Church has permitted certain things.

See in the message how "honor and glory" are stated twice in reference to the Tridentine Mass. padraig, do you think it will be the only rite in the new time, the Era of Peace? I do.

In the God Speaks Will You Listen Messages:

"Who are you to judge the workings of my spirit? My people, the Tridentine Mass brings great honor and glory to my Father, myself, and the Holy Spirit. Please Ponder on this: There is much evil in your world. How do you know the Novo Order Mass, was not inspired by my spirit? I knew there would be sacreligious communions, lack of reverence in my churches, and lack of belief in my presence in the Eucharist. But I will do anything for the salvation of souls. I will humiliate myself to great extremes to save my people. I will sacrifice my honor and glory to save my people and bring my presence to my people. What will you do for the salvation of souls? Since the introduction of the Novo Ordo Mass, many protestants and others have entered my church, who otherwise would not have. Many conversions and Eucharistic miracles have occurred with both rites of my mass."

I have found Jackie as I get older in the Spiritual Life as in much else that great simplicity and a spirit of child like abandonment is best.

Second guessing the Church Councils, the Magisterium and the Vicars of Christ is not the road for me.

They point the way and the way they point is the way I go.

St Pope John 23rd had a wonderful motto, 'Obedience and Peace'. How true this is. The devil does complicated, the Child of God does not. Obedience and peace.

    Psalm 131:2
1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. 2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me. 3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.

Our Lord can state in the messages what He does not like that is permitted padraig. He has a preference.

Look at the negative fruit of the Novus Ordo.

I wish you would reply to my last question.

. ' padraig, do you think it will be the only rite in the new time, the Era of Peace? I do.'

I have no idea Jackie. Do you know that the Carthusians have a rite which they celebrate in Latin which is considerably older than the Tridentine?
Also of course Eastern Rites Catholics have liturgies that make the Tridentine look like an infant. Our Iraq sisters and brothers for instance some of them speak Aramaic, the language of Christ Himself.
The Council of Trent was what...1545? Which makes it a fairly recent innovation in our 2000 year history. A baby.:)

    Time are really urgent Jackie.

I wish I had more time. It was never our Lady's intention, I prayerfully believe, for us to go too far down this road.

    Times are very,very urgent indeed.

    We must not get distracted.

I did not know about the Carthusian's Mass, thanks. I haven't seen Into Great Silence. Surprises for us all, the coming Era of Peace. A recent messenger, Pastor Enoc, one of his messages describes astonishing saint type charisms of the new time, similar to the Divine Will message.

I attended an Eastern Orthodox, an Antiochian Orthodox Mass one Sunday. It was very reverent but quite a few didn't go up to receive as Catholics do, we're use to row after row. ???

Michael Voris was going to share more about Mother Angelica's telling it like it is, well, Michael of course does too and here it is, two decades later. Everything the two of them state is right on. Our prayers for the consecrated, especially apostate bishops, the silent ones and for the faithful bishops.

    Go Get 'Em, Mother!

"I have difficulty with a 'Jesus' who appears to speak against the rules and guidance of His own Church."

Thats a very fair point for sure but maybe it is true to say that the Church's law on this matter is more restrictive than some realise? I think this is it here in a 2004 document issued by the Vatican called Redemptionis Sacramentum:
Edit: I think this may be another relevant bit from a 1997 Vatican document, in this case an 'Instruction on certain questions regarding the collaboration of the non-ordained faithful in the sacred ministry of priest':
