We're on lockdown. Just watched live streamed Mass and our priest is giving drive through communion after each Sunday Mass. I guess I need to be grateful that I can receive Jesus no matter in what terrible conditions..no kneeling, not during Mass, in a car none the less. I think though the priest is doing his best and most aren't even doing this. How long will you wait Lord?
We are doing the same thing at my parish. I watch the Mass live-streamed from my car and then drive through for Holy Communion. Our good and holy Priest is doing what he can under the circumstances.
I am glad to hear you have communion available. These times call for creative solutions and while they certainly are anything but the ideal we all have in mind the priests and bishops giving their blessing to them and carrying them out are to be commended I think. They are thinking of the people and trying to meet their needs the best they can while recognizing the need to operate within the guidelines of the state.
God bless and help all these clergy who help so many under adverse circumstances and sometimes very little support.
