A PUBLIC priest Blogger whose parish is in Brighton, Sussex , England , Brighton is one of the towns in England that has a well known 'friendliness' for the LGBT community. Have been reading him for years. Discovered him like almost all my online Catholic reading material thru MOG. The commenters to his blog pieces are ALWAYS v helpful to read as well. I find the same thing at the moment reading Mary Simma she ticks all the boxes, but what sad, sad, sad times we are living through when someone telling the plain unvarnished truth surprises
Like so many faithful and troubled priests in our situation, Fr. Blake is a convert. Look up 'Catholic Collar and Tie' blog for another faithful, convert priest, Fr. Dickson, whose background was as unpromising for a Catholic vocation as is just about possible. Bless him! There seems to be a pattern here.
