Bioextinction Workshop: Report One Robert Royal MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2017 I’m in Rome this morning as planned, but – not as planned – will not be in the room for the workshop on “Bioextinction: How to Save the Natural Environment on Which We Depend.” The sponsor, the Pontifical Academy for the Social Sciences (PASS), decided late last week that the event would not be open to the public or the press, leaving several of us who have come from far distant places in the lurch. PASS President Bishop Sánchez Sorondo was kind enough to write me back Friday immediately (just before I boarded my flight), that the workshop was only for the academicians (members) and their invitees, though earlier there were instructions on the PASS website for how to apply. At this point, we can only speculate about the reasons for the change, but it would not be surprising if nervousness about controversial speakers like discredited population controller Paul Ehrlich had something to do with it. I think for many of these people their beliefs are so firm that it has become a kind of Globalist religion and they are genuinely amazed that people can disagree with them. I think they have been amazed to find such dissension to their agenda in the Church itself. They really believed that people would roll over to their agenda and narrative as people have in society as a whole. I don't think they know quite what to do with opposition. It baffles them. This is a mark of just how arrogant they have become.
The whole Global Warming & Climate Change Movement is all about Centralized Government Control and Taxation. Yes!! There is Climate Change and it's been ongoing for Four Billion Years and man has little to do with it. The same people that push Climate Change are the same people that push Abortion, Perversion and godless Global BigBro Gubermint. If anyone thinks that Pope Francis' pandering to this crowd will bring anyone back into the fullness of God's truth they are foolish. These people detest God's truth.
Does this Pope want to bring people back into God´s truth? Because to bring people back into God´s truth you must first express God´s truth clearly and unambiguously. There is no other way. This is what saints did for the last 2,000 years. And many, oh so many paid for that with their lives. Maybe we haven´t been able to grasp the full extent of what is going on at the Vatican.

I watched Erhlich's talk. The pressure on the Vatican from the pro-lifers must have worked because he didn't mention the wonders of abortion even once. He did get in some praise for abortion and a few attacks on the US, Europe and especially Donald Trump's Government. If I were the man in Trump's administration that he accused of lying, I would be taking legal advice on whether I could sue him and the Vatican for defamation. I'm on my way out to Mass now so will have to leave the rest of the talks until later.
